Viewing your PlayStation Trophies on PlayStation.com

Back in November we introduced the ability to sign in to PlayStation.com using your PlayStation Network login credentials. Currently you can see your online ID, your avatar, and view your friend list. You also have the ability to get your Portable ID for use on forums and social networking sites.

Trophies1

If you haven’t already signed in to PlayStation.com using your PSN ID, you’re definitely going to want to tomorrow (sign in here). When we introduced PlayStation Trophies last year we promised we would be extending the feature to the web. We are near ready to release our first phase which will allow you to view your PlayStation Trophies on PlayStation.com with all of the details you can see on your PS3. Later this year, we’ll enhance these features giving you the ability to compare and sort trophies in new ways.

Here’s what you’ll see when we go live tomorrow:

  • oh and yes… GIVE ME TROPHIES IN VALKYRIA OF THE BATTLEFIELD SONY!

    PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASEEEE!!!

    that is all.

  • I’m really stoked about this. :D

  • Good evening Jeff Rubenstein, I Only have One question ” Where is FW 2.70 Feature confirmation post?” The features that were leaked to GameTrailers Forums. PLEASE CONFIRM THE FEATURES!!!

  • This is cool and all, but please for all that is holy, NEW AVATARS PLEASE.

  • Sweet. I’m excited by this feature. I’m awaiting a real PS3 gamertag (Gotta be on the way with this type of enhancement being made). Glad to see that someone is still listening to PS3 owners on what they want to see. Now if we could do something to further Backward Compatibility and get some Netflix on the PS3. Sure we as PS3 owners “like to own content”, but what about the option for people who also have a Netflix account (ME).

  • Finally! I can’t wait till the inevitable PSN Gamercard to show my stuff to the whole Internets.

  • Sorry if it’s been asked already (bit in a rush and lots of posts here already) but can I view friends trophy lists to compare when I’m not on my PS3?

  • @Carnivius

    Not yet, but it’s coming.

  • Terrific! :D

  • Guess what People’s ? its up!

  • TIME ZONE.
On my PS3 I can view my Trophies and it list the time they were earnt in MY time zone which is GMT. The Trophy website only list PDT. Will there be a way to set this to our time zone of choice?

Apart from that the Trophy pages look fantastic, its what we’ve been waiting for. This is what I like to see, you tech guys & girls listening continually improving the service. Thank you. What’s next?!

  • Yes, this will be a good way to see where you rank among PSN users

  • MGS4 Trophies are a serious must. I am into collecting trophies :D

  • This is a great, exciting feature and is HOPEFULLY a sign of a more integrated Playstation network tying in trophies on the web, on the PS3 and wherever the Playstation brand is at.

What about including this on the other playstation websites around the world!?!

  • Just checked it out, looks really nice. Too bad you can’t show the page to others. And erm… how do you in put the portable ID in the signature option, I only get to see the code, I’ve tried almost anything.

  • Thx for this ! It’s really smooth on the PC… Can we have a chance to have an enhanced trophy section on PS3 (for example, quicker, or with auto sync) to go with this ?

  • Looks pretty cool to see the trophies, however my burnout paradise trophies arent showing up??

  • I can’t log in to http://www.us.playstation.com/ at all.

  • I’m loving this, thanks. I really do think it would be neat if we could see each others level next to our name on this blog. You know, to show off how much we’ve accomplished… or just to brag about how awesome we are.

  • Interesting watching Sony still scrambling to add features that should have been here from day one of the PS3. That’s what happens when you make it up as you go along. Again, it shows just how unprepared Sony was going into this generation.

  • It’s nice to see PSN catching up, but still things are moving really slow for what’s being delivered. I think it’s time to speed up and have PSN be the compelling service Sony promised us at least by July 2009. That’s a year, also good work. Finally lol

  • nice…so now you guys can all check out my 4 platinums!

  • Looks like it’s just a little out of sync. I was just playing wipeoutHD and earned a few trophies, that still haven’t shown up.

  • What time does this launch?

  • and following the Sony tradition….its IP blocked to other countries yay.

big problem of the PSN is regional divisions working on their own instead of having one universal website that features all the languages.

    :(

  • When will it hit in the eu.playstation.com?

    Thanks!

  • This is awesome.
However, I do think the trophies for addons such as the mgs pack for lbp should list as a separate item, even if it’s a sub item. Also the trophies should not install at all unless you have the addons. It gives trophy percentage for a game false representation.

  • Howcome the psp can’t have trophies on it?

  • Can we expect to see a UI-overhaul of the PS.com website? This is just my opinion, but when you look at Xbox.com, the site feels more intuitive and looks less dated.

Just my $.02. I’m happy to see that Trophies are now accessible via the web!

  • nice

  • Looks great! Keep it up!

  • @Midnightblues, no, we can’t. That’s the thing, page is only visible for yourself, others can’t see it. Although I love the portable ID, more info on it would be appreciated. At least a start and that’s a good one.

  • Daniel_Ortiz_Fox

    This is great, good

First part, Umm… no its not. Everyone from over the world can log in on Playstation.com, I for one am from Holland, Europe and can log in as well.

Second part, couldn’t agree with you more. Let the US handle the main business, they do the best job if you ask me ;)

  • this is so awesome..my friends and i were already having real PS3 trophies made for us with some idea from http://trophiesandawards.wordpress.com

  • I can’t browse my friends’ trophy lists or compare trophies from the friends list and I still can’t share my trophy list with a link to friends or show it off on my portable ID.

  • This upgrade just doesn’t seem like enough. The only reason I care is so I have a reference to keep my playfire up-to-date. I realize there are more features coming, but why bother until there’s more ready.

  • Nice update! Like the others, I would like to see web-based messaging as well. Also, please make a trophy leader board. I’d really like to see the stats of some other trophy hunters out there.

  • Are there any plans for a (preferably REST-like) API which would allow third-party apps to fetch PSN user and trophy information? Getting a picture representation of your Home avatar would also be a cool feature (XBL already has something like this: http://avatar.xboxlive.com/avatar/%5Bput-gamertag-here%5D/avatar-body.png)

  • So how do I link my trophies page to a friend?

  • This is great news indeed… however… I have a question about trophies that I don’t know who I should be addressing it. See I’ve installed the demo of Super Stardust a while back and since then; I’m stuck with its trophies… I don’t plan on buying, so it bothers me that these always appear in my profile. I heard xbox allows removing useless achievements and I was wondering if Sony has any plan on offering anything similar. This could easily be done with this new web feature. Allowing it via the website, wouldn’t even require a firmware update. Please let me know if there’s any plan on this side, I’m sure other people would find that useful as well. I might sound obsessive, but I like to keep my stuff clean and being stuck with irrelevant information on my PS3 bugs me.

  • COOL!

Nice to see you guys are still working on PSN compatibility with pretty much everything now! lol

  • hmm .. Gr8

  • this is a fun new addition.

  • JAWESOME. You guys are finally catching up on X-box Live features. :D

Now if you make the gamercard/web interface thing you have now for people’s signatures like MyGamerCard.net (or, preferable Playfires, since it shows recent trophy icons, something MS/MyGamercard doesn’t do for achievements) we’d be in business with the official Sony channels. :D

  • Sound Great Thanks again ERIC

  • AvoidTalkingMice

    Very nice – FINALLY.

    Still really needs:

    -Messaging to/from PS3 friends/users
-Change your avatar via here (MORE AVATARS)
-Portable ID Shows Trophy info (Useless now)
    -Compare Trophies to other friends/users
-See What games people have been playing (Even if they dont support trophies).

  • Please Sony, let those rumoured 2.70 patch notes be true! :D

  • Err is it still up? Its not showing up in my profile page (the trophy link)
