  • Capcom seems way too greedy now.

  • what the flock? a Toby Keith song pack? I thought it was called ROCK band? :P

  • What ever happened to PS1 games being put on the psn?

  • i think you mixed up the prices.. fists of plastic should be $15 and flock should be $9.99 imo

  • Im done buying binary.

  • Another week, another no-show for PSOne Classics.

I really want Suikoden II, Wild Arms II, and those mysterious Capcom games that were talked about by Christian Svensson on the Capcom-Unity boards a couple of weeks back.

Even Konami said they’re interested in bringing Suikoden II to PS Store. Please make it happen.

  • Getting Rag Doll Kung Fu right now!!! Finally!!!

  • I can’t believe Flock is 15 bucks!!!!

Rag Doll Kung Fu > Flock

  • i bought rag doll kung fu .. flock is too expensive.

also i would like to request qube as a ps1 classic remake. awesome puzzle game

  • This is one of the best updates this year. RDKF and the LBP pack are downloading right now. Flock is another great addition to the PSN as well.

  • I was not that impressed with the flock demo, i liked the graphics and the gameplay idea/concept but after actually playing the game, i found it more frustrating and less fun, very less fun. demo deleted.. I want to buy Rag Doll KungFu but without a demo Im very hesitant to buy it, not sure if i will enjoy it.

I want my Fat Princess! :)

  • Oh, and I agree with 109. We NEED I.Q. Intelligence Qube on the PSN!

  • was hoping for some more demos TBH.

  • Wow, if I’d have known Ragdoll Kung-Fu didn’t have multiplayer I wouldn’t have wasted my money on it.

Ohhh, wait.. I know what’s going on. They’re going to release Multiplayer DLC for $5 down the road.

Ah, 2009. Welcome to this generation. Where you have to buy cheats and anything fun for additional charges.

  • Pretty sweet update, but mostly just because of Rag Doll Kung Fu. What’s up with the lack of PS1 Classics? We want them, you can provide them, so what’s up with that? We know you’re not greedy like Micro$oft, but shying away from this easy money not only hurts your profit, it hurts those of us that would love to play the classics again. Games like Tomba 1 and 2, Breath of Fire 3, Monster Rancher 1 and 2, Silent Hill, Xenogears, Suikoden II(great job on getting #1 for us), Wild Arms 2(once again, thanks for #1), Legend of Dragoon(would kill for a sequel, or at least another game that used Additions), Parasite Eve 1 and 2, the original Dynasty Warriors(awesome fighting game), and so many other classics would net you so much cash for such a small investment(rights, bandwidth, etc.) that I am not only frustrated by the actual lack of the games, but also the apparent lack of logic. People beg and nag for them every week, and you just ignore them. If you aren’t going to do it, can you at least post one response as to why? Silence in the face of criticism and inquiries is bad for PR… Bethesda is about to learn that the hard way, I don’t want to see that happening to you guys too.

  • What?!? wait… How is it that Loco Roco 2 and Resistance Retribution get PSP and PS3 themes but Patapon 2 only gets a PSP theme? I have been looking forward to a cool Patapon theme for my PS3 and I thought that finally I would get it but nope. WHY?

  • Nothin’ for me today. I’m really starting to lose interest in PSN on the PSP’s front.

  • Can the PSN team add the option to have password protection / a password prompt to adding cash to the wallet – not just the option to prompt for the password on checkout???

  • I just remember….what ever happened to that Patapon 2 trailer for the PSP….It was available for one day, then…POOF! GONE!! It’s only one the PS3! P.S. Nice update, just lower the prices of the games, then we’ll all be happy! :)

  • NICE! A demo for Sonic’s ultimate genesis collection! That’s cool! It seemed like a great price (with trophies too!) just waiting to try it before I buy it!

  • UNC sucks…..GO STATE

  • Awesome update.

I was really torn between the Rag Doll Kung Fu LittleBigPlanet costumes and the Rag Doll Kung Fu game…but finally decided to break down and get the game. The costumes will have to wait for now!

Only played a little bit of Rag Doll so far, but I really like it a lot. Very awesome. Nice character creator, nice graphics, and fun gameplay. Well worth the $10! :)

Can’t wait to play more of it tomorrow!

    DF2506
” Also have to download the Flock demo and see if its worth $15…”

  • to everyone complaining about no ps1 games this week on the PS store:

you can go to any ma and pa used games store and buy the actual ps1 discs for probably less than what sony is charging on the PS store. the graphics aren’t any better compared to the disc.

  • The new update is cool now i can text wit ma friends while playing a game, that’s awesome.

  • Any chance of getting xenogears on the usa psn? It’s actually quite difficult to obtain as it’s become something of a collector’s item.

  • I REALLY wish you guys would mandate demos for PSN games :(

  • Don’t forget that Worms is released to Europe as well!

  • 14,99 Euro / USD I find simply too much. I most likely would have bought it in a second if it were 7,99 Euro over here, but I thought it was wise to test the demo at first. The demo didn’t really show me that its so much worth the money. Like others mention it including reviews, the game concept looks really beautiful and fun, but as soon as you progress, the fun turns into frustration.

@aaronp01 if your knowledge about recent PS1 second hand game prices is so well, may I request you to take a look at Ebay.com and check the names, Dragon Warrior 7, Xenogears, Final Fantasy 7, Legend of Dragoon, Tales of Eternal and most of all Suikoden just for a second? Tell the folks around here again if those games are cheaper than what Sony is requesting on PSN.

  • ^^

I meant Flock by that of course :-)

  • Why is it that no staff member ever replies to our comments on here during a PSN update? Well, I haven’t seen any yet so you tell me. It seems pretty clear that most people would like psn games and I think a week won’t hurt you guys of releasing a couple ps1 classics that we all love and still do. I do agree with one of the people on here that said that if all is silenced, you guys could end up like Bethesda and I don’t want you guys to be like that. At least respond or stay a couple minutes to see what we have to say on this perticular topic not talking about other subjects you’ve guys posted but I haven’t ever seen a reply on here yet. Maybe you guys should do like a voting thing to see what your players want for that upcoming week? I don’t know, but if I was working there lol, I would listen to these guys.

  • Rag Doll rocks been playing most the night.
i hope online is added later. for anyone that
has figured it out yet theirs a really nice
feature to record your game in multi play.
you can save to hard drive or upload to you tube. the recording stops on it own at the end of the round.

  • Hi everyone,

is there any chance of getting the slightly idiot game Gomibako (Trash Box maybe)? would be an isntant buy.

heres a ingame vid its early on wasnt to good yet

  • Apparently, an N4G article states that the Red Faction: Guerillas demo is on Xbox LIVE and PS3 . . but i see nothing there. Just curious if this article is false, or that maybe it will come soon? Thanks.

  • No PSP Demos. but eh the R:R themes, and the rest should be good enough for most PSP gamers.

  • Japan got FINAL FANTASY VII this week. FINAL FANTASY VII. They already have Xenogears. And all of the Resident Evil games. And about a billion other games.

Europe even got Silent Hill a few weeks ago, even though it’s been delisted due to some kind of bug.

So, pretty much screw you, SCEA. You guys are completely worthless as far as store updates go. Sorry, I love you all as people, but your store updates are complete trash. WHERE are the PSX GAMES. Do not feed us more BS about “rights issues.” At this point it is a complete lie, if you wanted to release some of these games, you could get it taken care of.

It’s a damn shame that Nintendo’s VC is so much more competent than your classic gaming service, because the VC is hobbling along blind and on crutches as it is. Yes, your classic gaming service is THAT pathetic.

Clean it up already. This is just getting stupid.

  • Err, so Japan’s and Hong Kong’s PSN got Final Fantasy VII…

Out of curiosity, is such levels of PSOne support ever going to be achieved here?

  • Agreed!
$14.99 for flock is way to much!
If we don’t buy it they won’t sell it at $14.99 any more.

  • Sony, you give Japan FF7, and you haven’t given us PS1 classics in months? I knew you were always catering to your Japanese audience, but this is an insult, considering how well this game and Crisis Core went over in the United States.
Metal Gear and Xenogears are other examples. Of course there are rights issues, but we would expect you to care about your American audience more so many years after the PSP’s release.
Sony’s American audience is one of the reasons the Playstation brand is so powerful, its really unforunate to see you neglecting us this way.

  • Not, that bad beter than nothing. LOL will we ever get music store? FF VII PSone clascic will be here this month to bad I all ready have PSone 3 disk set of it.. But would not mind Resident Evil 1… I sold that about 10 years ago Capcom get it to us.

  • So I hear the Japan PS Store has Final Fantasy 7. Why not us in the U.S.? I expect it very soon in our store.

    Or else….

  • FF VII is coming soon (this month) So don’t get your panties in a buch folk’s. kidding LOL

  • why is there no online multiplayer for ragdoll kung fu, is that something that will be added later on and we’ll end up paying more cash for? it seems like most ps3 games that come out are unfinished or just lazy on the developers part or it has been done purposely to milk more money from us.

  • F I N A L F A N T A S Y V I I

Get this on the store, like, yesterday! Get off of your lazy butts, stop pushing PSN mini-games, and get us this. We don’t care if you have to go out of your way. Get it, and get it now! *invokes otaku rage*

  • Update the avatars!

  • It’s been two hours since I last posted and still no FF7 in the US store. I mean it, we want FF7 now!

  • i’m agree whit you DonnyG, we want Final Fantasy VII NOW!!!!

  • You people sure complain a lot.

Why doesn’t Sony respond? Probably because most of the complaints to each update are rediculous. They amount to ‘We want more stuff, but we’re not willing to pay a dime for any of it.’

Seriously. Most of the comments seem to be from cheapskates with no money who squabble and complain about a buck or two. It doesn’t really make sense for Sony to try to cater to these people because they’re cheapskates. No money is coming out of their pockets even if Sony met their demands.

That said, there are some legitimate pricing complaints with regards to DLC because when you do the math, some of these companies are raping customers pretty hard. But that’s not Sony. That’s companies like EA. Pay attention. In those cases, Sony is only providing the delivery service, not the product. Don’t put that on Sony.

So pretty much Sony isn’t responding to what amounts to flame blait. And I agree with their strategy there.

  • and please…. Xenogear too…
