Hey guys! I seriously appreciate you asking us for our input! I feel though, that God of War: Chains of Olympus would make an even better add on than the first two redone. I dont have a PSP and so that would be even better for me. Dont get me wrong, i would love to experience the first two titles again in High Def, but I want to experience the full story, and for myself the PSP is out of the question, I am a student and i dont have the Money to drop on that. Now dont get me wrong I am a major Playstation user, I just wish that (like many other games for the psp) you could port it to the ps2 or even have it included in the ps3 CE. Thank GOD you guys are planning a Collector’s Edition for GOWIII. I was so bummed there was no KZ2 collector’s edition.
Here is what I’d like to see:
– A nice packaging and an awesome cover.
– A badass Kratos figurine. Decent size and not some cheap, cr@ppy one.
– An art book OR a Frank Miller style comic book / graphic novel would be awesome.
– Now I own all the GOW games, but since my PS3 can’t play GOW I & II thanks to no-emulation(!), I would like, for not just myself but a lot of present and potential PS3 owners out there who have heard about the series but haven’t had the chance to play it and can’t be bothered to get the PS2 versions. So I think including those games in a single Blu-ray disc would be a great idea.
You do this and I’m sold. :D
GoW 1 & 2 should definitely be on a blu-ray disc. I’ve never had a chance to play them and I really want to play them, just can’t shell out the money for a (working) PS2 and the two games. I’d be sold just for that.. but I know you guys will do better than that. Can’t wait! =D

if you guys do all of that stuff in the survey this game will go in the history books. i would spend the money on all of that stuff, because this game is definitely worth it! i own all of the version’s of GOW and i truly love this game
Some one wants and COO included in the GoW III CE.I think this is become God of War Ultimate pack package not a GoW III CE.
I voted for GOW 1 and 2 on blu ray because Id love to see that happen. But pretty much anything listed in the survey peaked my interest. I do already have one GOW t shirt though and plan on getting another soon. I also have a GOW hat and 3 GOW 2 Kratos Figures. Anyway no mater what comes in the CE Ill be buying the CE.

I own both GoW1, 2 and chains of olympus already but there are so many people who missed out on these games having at least 1 and 2 playable on PS3 from a blu-ray disc would be amazing for those people.

Hello, first time commentor, long time fan.
First of all, I have been a fan of the God of War series since day one! First M-rated game I ever played in all honesty. I am such a huge fan of the GOW series! I doubt this box could will give me enough characters to truly express it!
Anyways, I answered the survey and the wallpaper is now gracing my desktop. I do have a few questions and suggestions though.
1. Will our old GOW 1&2 saves be transferable to the Blue-ray versions? Because I would sure dread going through Titan mode AGAIN!
2. If there is a figure included with the CE, will it be of Kratos or a monster? I sure hope its a monster, for I have always hoped for Neca to make a Minotaur for my Kratos figure to goe up against. Or are there any plans for Neca to make more GOW figures other than variations of Kratos?
3. If there really is downloadable content for GOW3, I don’t see it going any further than extra costumes, side missions don’t make mutch sense within the incredibly well written story that is God of War. What did you have in mind though?
I am a big fan of Collector Editions and God of War, so no matter what it has in it, I look forward to it! Thank you very mutch for listening!
Wow, nice survey. There were a few things that I didn’t even really consider for the CE. This really means alot to the community showing that you guys really want to make this project as epic as it can be. I really want it to be, not so much for my enjoyment, but so that you guys may benefit even more and continue the success.
Also, I know it’s too early to ask this but hypothetically speaking, if the GoW 1 & 2 games were included, would things be included with those copies, such as Trophies and what not?
And if you really want to get alot of money, why don’t you guys do something like this: Ship out multiple collectors editions (the ones receiving the most votes, bundling a few if need be) and release a Limited Edition that carries all of the merchandise and maybe something else special. Since this is Krato’s last hoorah, might as well let him go with a bang right?
This is sweet how you guys are doing this! I’ve never played any of the God of War games, but I’ve heard a lot of nice things about it. So, I hope you guys can include God of War I and II on blu-ray with this Collector’s Edition.

Late to comment, but if you want to know what a great collector’s edition could be look no further at what Bioshock did. They could have used a normal DVD case inside their CE because nobody would have seen it inside the box housing the statue, yet they used a steelbook box. That REALLY impressed me a lot because that’s exactly what gamers want. Don’t do it like Halo 3 did, where you didn’t get the CE metal box packaging while buying the “legendary” edition.
Also, I forgot to add, if you’re doing a statue, it would be cool if there was a way that that’s displayed inside the box without removing it.
I took the survey also..definately GOW I and II on Blu Ray..you will have the whole trilogy in one set! I’d buy it..I hope this gets included.

Please put God of War I and II in Blu ray format! I have PS3 and it is not backwards compatible. would love to have those on the collectors edition! I would pay whatever and will buy the collectors edition. It is my favorite game. People that dont want to pay can buy the regular edition. Dont sell us true fans short and not put them on their please?

id pay 129.99 if you got all three games on blu ray.
GOW1 & 2 on BRD would be sweet. That is a collectors item right there ALTHOUGH in reality the two earlier games should be available as DLC even if you buy the regular version.
There is No way you can tease us with a GOW I & II On blu-ray as a bonus item without making sure all PS3’s can play it. and OMG i seriously am ready for a re-release of some classic PS2 games on Blu-ray~!
Ok I run a GameStore and you can Bank on 5000 of my stores doing a big midnight release for GOW III.
1) BLOW Up the marketing. Too often sony goes under represented in the marketing field and big titles lose out on some of the hype.
2) Hook up with GameStop to get the Midnight Video streaming. Now that all our stores have surround sound and 42 inch HDTVs games like Resident Evil had custom videos to get the store hyped from 10~ midnight before the big release. Spice it up the Crowd loves it.
3)Any launch packet you can send with Trivia and maybe some little prizes or shirts to give to winners is great.
4) I have already had customers ask for a God of War special edition PS3. Red. Make it happen. and damn it if you make a SE PS3 it better include the Special edition game.
5) Red controllers?, Red Sony headset?
6) Contests. Offer a killer set of prizes to the employees of GameStores to get them focused and in the game. We won a PS3, a copy of Uncharted, and a signed naughty dog guide for uncharted when that game launched.
7) No more delays.

I say it again, Chains of Olympus was never available for console only gamers, and i think that a lot of us would love to see that come our way. Make the Definitive GOW collection! God of war, God of War II, God of War: Chains of Olympus, and God of War 3!

What a brilliant idea…. to include GoW 1 & 2 on the bluray disk as well.
I have a backwards compatible PS3 anyway, and I only bought GoW II AFTER buying the PS3, because I’d never played it…. I played GoW on the PSP and loved it so much, I realised I’d missed out, and therefore got GoW II for the PS3… and I’ve still never played GoW 1… so yes, brilliant idea, for all those people who don’t have backwards compatibility. I’d also appreciate the soundtrack. They should include it on the bluray disk as well, but have a menu option to export it to the XMB somehow as MP3s, so they could be saved on a memory stick, and exported to PCs and MP3 players, to be listened to away from the PS3.
Or perhaps the soundtrack as MP3s cound be included as part of the downloadable content.
The commentaries would also be a welcome option. I really enjoyed the Half Life episodes commentaries, they were interesting. If they could be done in a somewhat humourous way, then all the better (IE a couple of the guys having a laugh, going back over what they did, rather than just a stern voice stating facts)
I also agree with previous postings about a HD video behind the scenes video. I’d love that. Did anybody see the recently released video from the ID Software guys, John Romero and such, with half an hour of behind the scenes footage of the making of Doom? Facinating stuff. If we could have a tour of the God of War offices, and meet the guys making the game, in 1080p, that would be fantastic. (So long as there’s room on the disk for the game, after all these features) ;)
I skiped everything from Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) until PS3, so I would love to play the whole GoW series on my PS3.
