  • Great update!
    Cant wait to play guerilla!

  • Red Faction demo! Yes! They ran out of PSN early-download codes before I got one, so I’m pumped for this. :D

  • UFC demo was fun some weird issues but none the less fun

  • Needs more PSX games. Yup Pleas take my money release more PSOne games on the PSN. I Look at the Japan Store and just cry.

  • Pulse and free content for LBP. Decent update.

  • This week sucks. We need more PSone games on the PSN. FFVII, MGS, RE, Chrono Trigger, Legend of Dragoon, etc.

So many good games, and Japan has some of them, and we don’t.

  • @120 I would gladly buy whatever PS1 Sony put on PSN even if I have already owned it. The ESRB website has a list of already approved PS1 games that have been listed for PS3/PSP like Medal of Honor, Spyro 2, Spyro 2, Legacy of Kain, that have been on their for about a year and should of already been on PSN already! I never played Spyro 2 or Spyro 3 even Legacy of Kain and would buy those in an instant off PSN.

  • Three months after the announcement, STILL NO PEGGLE…

    Fail.

  • Sony guys, take the users opinions in consideration. We would really love to have access to more PSX on the PS Store, to play on our PS3 and PSP. C’mon, Japan has them, whats stopping you from releasing them on the US?? If you release GOOD games, they WILL sell, not the crappy ones (with some exceptions) released so far. Check out Nintendo’s Virtual Console, there are a absurd number of games there and they are VERY profitable.

  • When are we going to get the final fantasys, resident evils and the mgs,,,,we need more psx games

  • No PSone games? Why trumpet that you were opening the floodgates of the PSone outside Japan, just to then follow up all that talk with five months of nothing, while Japan gets the single biggest PSOne game of them all in FF7 in the mean time, thus rubbing mega ton amounts of salt into an already gaping and sore wound? That’s extremely poor business.

  • @106
whining about whiners is whinging, whiner. As for the order to shutup, I’ll simply respond with “no”, and their isn’t a damn thing you can do about it except impotently rage from behind the safety of a computer monitor and the anonymity it provides, you sad, small little man..

  • @97

Then we have sycophant fanboy gamers like you, who complain about the complaining, not realizing all along that it makes them complainers themselves.

  • Update the avatars.

  • I wish you’d let us change our PSN names.

  • I want a God of War 3 theme!!!

  • –Cross game voice chat needed Sony

–Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy VII needed on PSN Sony.

Listen to what gamers want out of PS3!

  • In the Pulse episode, Frank Langella was mistakenly referred to as Anthony Langella.

There’s this web site called imdb.com. It actually gives the names of the actors in the movies. I know, weird.

  • Bring Final Fantasy 7 to the US store please.

  • A consistent, reliable, weekly flow of new PSN games would be nice, please.

I’m not sure what the strategy is behind the current PSN games release scheduling and marketing plan for them, but it’s the opposite of what I would call “good” as a consumer with money in-hand, waiting for them.

The LBP Creator Pack is loaded with great features that will really expand my family’s enjoyment of that title. And free, no less! Thanks, MM!

  • decent update prolly gonna get the Ratchet and Clank: size matters and the 2 demos and prolly the LBP dlc eventually. Why is everyone obsessed with ps1 games? I bought my ps3 to play ps3 games! I could care less about no ps1 games.

  • UFC GAME!!!!!!!!!! woot! I cant believe everyone isnt mentioning this update!!! This game BY FAR beats any fighting game on the market. What better way to really test your knowledge of REAL fighting than this simulation? I dont have to worry about pansys using Ken or Ryu online on SFIV, spamming jumping HK->Low Sweep,->shoryuken-> rinse and repeat.

Plus did I mention that KTFO (Knock[ing] the F**K OUT) someone is CRAZY rewarding? Especially when you can keep on pounding their faces in after you’ve knocked them out cold? Did I mention that its a great way to play with a group of your friends? The knockouts are gratifying and the reactions that you get are visceral! Its amazing what THQ has done to completely replicate a sport such as MMA.

Even if you’re not a great fan of the game, what do you lose if you try it out once? I mean, we’ve all got some anger issues and I guarantee pounding a dudes face in that you can stand is instinctively pleasing..

Go out and try this game!

  • I can’t tell one week from the past week anymore.

  • WTF
wheres the demo for xmen origins?
xbox live had it on the 16th of april little late aint it sony?
when is australia getting the demo for infamous, and when are we getting the game.
yet again australia gets the screw over this is getting realy old sony.
and with Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters
is this playable on the ps3?
or do i need a psp to play it?

  • also how long does it normaly take to fix a psp?
when i first sent it in the guy told me it would be back in max 3 weeks.
well 7 weeks later still wating whats going on it cant take 7 weeks to fix 1 psp.

  • ok im going to sound like a bit of a prick here but its realy not fair what sonys doing so here i go.

with M$ whats available in US, is available in europe, is available in OZ.
    sony quite the opposite.
    why?

were still getting ripped of with consoles, games EVERYTHING.
exapmple ps3 game brand new US $60 AU $120 last time i checked US $60 DOES NOT= AU $120.
    more like 82
last time i checked 1 ps3 80GB console in US is US $400 here in AU $700.
    last time i checked USD $400 DOES NOT= AUD$700.
    more like $558.
so that means were paying $38 more than the US for games hows that fair?
and were paying $142 more than the US for a PS3 hows that fair?
this is why i HATE sony they ripp me off just because of where i live.
on top of that we get 90% of the games later than the US.
we miss out on some stuff like PSN content or DEAMON SOULS.
and we miss out on Collectors editions for some reason.
sony why do you refuse to release collectors editions for games you publish R2 KZ2 Uncharted i would of loved a CE for those games.
i know insomniac and GG wanted to release a CE but YOU SAID NO WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY?????
    continued bellow

  • o and we dont get guides either.
Australia remains the only country where i cant buy the KZ2 guide why why why why ?????
so let me get this stright.
we pay more but we get less.
    thats real fair.
yous have to get your priorities stright.
now i understand why Australia is xbox country even though we HATE microsoft.
stop treating us like second class citizens otherwise you will loose us as customers and you WILL NEVER beat MS in sales.
i now know why the ps3 is in third place FIX IT.

  • Nothing worth buying this week, 80% of the content is for games I don’t even own or want to play. Wish I could get an answer as to why theres no Outrun Arcade on the PS3 (something worth buying) but that won’t happen.

Gave it 2/5 because theres content and lots of it, just nothing I personally want.

  • Gonna get me some new demos and Pulse !! I ask again when is the complete playstation store coming to Latin America (Panama)?

  • Once again, pretty lame update. LBP update was nice though. Consider putting out something besides a bunch of DLC… like an actual game. That would be so cool, imagine the money you could make!!

  • could SCEA please point out to SCEE that uploading empty folders to the psn store isn’t going to make them popular… >.> it’s the third time they’ve done it in the last 3 weeks already…

    SCEE should be slapped :nodnod:

anyway this update looks. the japanese update oddly enough looks better though.

Hell the japanese store gets updated daily D:

  • wow great update(sarcasm). nothing but dlc. i’ll say it again sony made such a big deal abou t blu ray and it being the future of gaming. more space and blah, blah. use the space and add content instead of trying to rape ur loyal customers with absurd dlc that gets released just after, same day or even before the game. it’s obviously ready at release time y not include it? we’re already paying $60 y tack on $10 – $30 more for content that should be included.

  • the ridiculous practice of dlc is insane. its the mascot of the next gen consoles and it makes me sick. we already pay top dollar just for the ps3 because of its supposed potential. use that potential. if xbox can fit the same game on a dvd sony can fit all that dlc on the blu-ray WITH the game. u guys should take an xbox tactic and use it better. include the dlc with the game on the disc. no extra charge. lets see who sells more games when u guys actually put the content in the game and not rape ur customers.

  • What I find strange, is why the US / EU WiiWare store have Crystal Defenders while the PS3 hasn’t :=?

What I also find strange is why the crapbox got the game in America and Europe at the same day as in Japan on the PSN. Another retarded agreement with copysoft? I fear the worst for FFXIII that we as PS3 owners in the West, may wait because crapbox owners get the game first.

I’ve got the JP version anyway on the PS3 myself, but of course most people simply don’t have it.

No complaint to you Sony but to Squeenix.

  • and i know i’m just ranting and sony won’t respond since dlc is a virtual printing press of money for them and the game developers but its unfair to the comsumer. why can games like naruto and burnout(amazing support) get free dlc and other games purposely ship an incomplete game to force u to buy dlc to complete it(prince of persia). i would love to see an actual response to this but i know it wont come because sony is scared to really answer for their rape.. i mean business practice.

  • i refuse to spend my hard earned money on content that should be included in the game. period. i dare anyone at sony to tell me its not feasible or doable to include all those godfather dlc’s in the game at no charge? they have enough space and more people would buy the game if it had the content exclusively. hmm sound like a familiar strategy. i’ll buy your games but i refuse to let the developers take advantage of me.

  • oh yeah one last thing. proof that this works is burnout. constant support most free. and yes i paid for the party pack add on cuz they deserve it. its a great game that got actual support not just content purposely kept out of the original game to rape customers as dlc. i fully support criterion. i didnt buy all of the dlc but i did buy a few cars(deloreon) and the party pack. that game just keeps getting better. other companies should learn.

  • Yeah!!!! DEMOS!!! YEAHHH!!!! I’m being sarcastic.

Its been TWO WEEKS and NOT A SINGLE PlayStation 1, Or PLAYSTATION 3 Title on the freaking Store? Why is OutRun ON XboxLive ALL REGIONS ? But European PSN gets it? As i remember correctly OutRun became what it was HERE IN USA Arcades and Home Consoles back in the day.

Great Job PlayStation & the Network on everything you guys DON’T DO. Lose exclusives like : Tekken 6 (Check) Lose FFXI (double Check), Have OutRun Region locked B/C of Microsoft ( Triple Check )

Here is a Idea: You saw that Burnout went from BD – to – EBOOT? from $65 tag to now $19? Why don’t you guys take your ” GREATEST HITS ” and turn them into PlayStation Network DL Games like Burnout? I don’t know why i can buy 500gb HDD and only use 100gb of it? I’m tired of PS3s HDD being there for Game Data Utility, for the love of Money do something SONY!!!!!!

  • Fplus why don’t you STFU. You act like Tekken 6 is the PS3’s savior. Go play your Xbox

  • Fplus, stop whining like a little b***h and play you’re games. What, are you too spoiled, nitpicky, and whiny to even consider having some fun every once in a while?

  • Thanks for adding the Holoska Adventure pack too. I wonder what Sonic Unleashed DLC will be next.

  • i cant wait to see more sonic unleashed DLCs

  • still no ps1 classics ??? why ???

    we need spyro 2 :)

  • The fact that every other PSstore has more PSOne games than the US store shows how lazy the North american branch has become… :(
