DO yOu WANT POKEMON CARSD? really? every question session goes this way. Nothing new is ever answered. Just a pedestrian q&a.
Every opportunity to ask some serious game related question burns up in the atmosphere every single time.

That was a loose comment when there were already 2 questions that they were working on answering.
I know this is offtopic but..
Id love a pokemon PSP game.. every ds gamer would jump to PSP if pokemon was on it..
too much extraneous talk (keyboards,pokemon cards,etc) when that time could have been spent on answering questions.
Jeff I know how hard it is to moderate these. I think you did a fine job, the last one was 90% fan service, that was kept to a minimum. I know developers like the praise and they should hear it, so I don’t mind once or twice. So I think it was a good job done.
The amount of people hurt because their question wasn’t answered need to take a few steps back and look in the mirror. They did the best they could, see Jeff’s comment about 5000 questions and having to select the ones that are asked most. It seems important to somebody if multiple people asked that question.
While not on the blog per-se, I’m willing to bet that more Q&A sessions appear and the questions are answered.
calm down people.. It’s not rigged and Jeff is not biased. There’s no way two people could possibly answer 5000 detailed questions in one hour, plus we would all have to sift through all of the stupid questions some people ask. Just be glad you had the chance.
Hey Jeff, I read all the comments you replied to and some are pretty mean. I believe you and all (I asked a question once in one before, but it was sooo busy), but I think it’s the unfortunate truth that people will keep complaining about this. I hope it doesn’t put you guys off doing these. Just a thought, perhaps one day it would be amusing to see a behind-the-scenes video. Maybe too unprofessional for you guys, but a video view of all those comments popping up on screen whilst you hurry to try and choose some? Priceless, haha^^

How about having a waiting time between Qs submitted by the same person (like 30 secs) in order to avoid going crazy on your end? Probably not enough, but might help. Asking for people to spam doesn’t really help you Jeff.
Really, it\’s not necessarily the same person asking multiple questions that\’s an issue, we had ~1800 individual people asking questions (divide by 60 minutes, that\’s an average of 30 unique per minute, or 1 every 2 seconds).
Nice suggestion, but it really wouldn\’t stop the flow…
All i want to make sure is that it supports a party system and a simplified UI to join a game. Just like in call of Duty 4.

@101 Dont call people ignorant but how many times do you post stuff and get a reply? me once and that was today and it wasnt even a question it was venting! stop acting like your trying to calm everyone down like Jeff said earlier we post the questions that came up the most that must have been alot of people asking about pokemon cards, a logitech keyboard and other things like that maybe its because ur question popped up that ur not upset about it but some people are tired of wasting time for something that wont happen!

Thank you. Anyways, MAG is going to be sick and everything will be revealed in time. I am sure their are many things that they wanted to talk about, but seriously thousands of people all spamming their one question to a handful of people who have to read threw it and approve, then to get answered. Of course only the most popular questions are going to get answered because that is the question that is being sent in the most by people who signed in for the live chat. So the only people to complain to are all the ones that asked those questions, don’t complain to Jeff and the rest of the staff.

Thanks for putting all of the time and effort into making these chats a) possible in the first place and b) structured enough that we actually get to see what the devs say rather than an onslaught of questions moving at a blistering pace.
I know I give you a hard time during the chats, but it’s mostly joking. Mostly!
Finally got a question in too! I was excited. I think I asked about 12-20 in all, but hey; they don’t have all day.

No one is saying others questions AREN’T important. Or that others are more important than others. Its that people ask the exact SAME questions that have been covered by the blog.
The people that participate on the blog and have really supported it have questions that haven’t already been answered.
You tell us all to tune in to read the same exact things that were covered in the video that we all cared enough to watch/comment on.
This happens every single time, and its the same complaint. One that would be solved with some non-faq questions that you pick to go through. “Is mag online only?” could be you responding “hi 420man, that question was discussed already and can be found here: url”
I’m a nerd, I bite at the bit for opportunities like this. I’m the guy spending tons on PSN, and buying every single ps3 game ever made. I participate on the blog, and I’d love to see some non FAQ questions posed to the developers of one of the most interesting new games this generation. What is the point of getting the opportunity when the same questions are answered? The guy asking if its online will more than likely not even buy the thing in the first place because his bud has halo.
It\’s a good point, and that\’s why we try to answer a broad array of questions. And yes, that means we\’ll get some in there that you obviously know the answer to.
But if 50 people are asking it – then we should answer it, as opposed to the 1 or 2 people asking, for instance, how many frames of animation are used in the reload with the rocket launcher.
We\’ll probably do another Q&A like the video we did earlier this week, and we\’ll make it hard core questions only. Deal?

well, Instead of following my favorite game (socom). Im going to follow my favorite developer (Zipper).
They got me into video games and the PS3. Its sad that Sony let socom fail, but hopefully i can forget about those losers making socom now and have MAG be my new game.
The chat was good, i give it a 8 out of 10. Some stupid/already answered questions but all in all at least we were not talking to idiots (slant six).
Thanks for the chat/info. It was informative and to me summed up most questions people would have. Obviously every question that the community is thinking cannot be answered – it is funny how some people think their quewstion is the most important one and get insulted when it doesn’t get asked.
By the way, for people that complain that the questions posed were already asked elsewhere, remember that some people don’t hunt for info on every game on every site, so the information most likely is new to the general public – just not you. Be satisfied that there was the forum to ask questions on the fly and have them answered real-time.

I couldn’t make it to the chat because i was aat school LEARNING.PSHHH! I was going to ask if there would be any gun silencers or supressors in MAG? that is the only way to go in any game for me. go up behind someone and shoot half there squad from the back! SO EXCITING!

Some lame questions get through, yeah. Most of the questions weren’t so bad. I’d say you all did a good job. It’s certainly a tough situation, though I hate seeing someone ask a question that’s already been covered by previous posts (eg. “will there be a pay subscription for MAG?”) man that question pisses me off.
However, i’m totally aware of the fact that i’m a part of the small majority of PS3 owners that knows practically every news bit about the next exclusive. I’m just so shocked at how well developed some of these games are; exclusives tend to really be worth my 60$.
So, which game are we covering in next week’s live chat?
You should give Jeff and the guys moderating a chat a break. You think you’re the only ones who are logged in at the time, but the reality is that if even 100 of us are logged in at the same time, Jeff and Chris (probably couple others I don’t know) has about 100 messages to read per minute and has to validate one message per minute, and allow the developer 1 min to reply.
Now when people are asking WILL MAG HAVE DLC OR NOT? those are stupid questions, why should we care whether it has or not. The game does not even have a release date!
I agree that there are questions I posted which didn’t get published, but it doesn’t matter, you should at least acknowledge that Jeff is trying his best and the devs are taking time off to try to communicate to their fans and we should be thankful for that.
Imagine what would happen if there were moderation, most of the posts would be sth like ‘ZOMG!!!!’ or ‘PS3 SUCKS’ or ‘XBOX 360 SUCKS’ Just go in any gaming related chat room to see for yourself.

latest rumours says its gonna be out in November, if true i am gonna purchase MW2 instead of MAG.
Sony do not release this game too close to MW2 release, many people will skip MAG for sure, at least buying MW2 people will know what to expect…

Are the best ones to ask really? They have been answered in previous interviews. Why are such comments being asked to the Dev’s again when they can be looked at previous blogs!
Some questions that were passed on were totally bogus.
Just seemed like a waste to have questions like Do some of the factions stand for something. What tag is on his shoulder, questions already answered in previous videos. Would of been nice to have all new questions that weren’t already covered somewhere else, or something completly pointless about a wolf on a badge. Why couldn’t we get some questions about hows the lobby going to work, open mics in lobby, text chat in lobby.

Everyone thinks their question is the most important. For you, it was about the lobby (which I\’m sure we\’ll cover before the game is released). For others today, it was about the background of the factions. Those people aren\’t complaining that their question was answered.
