Qore Episode 12 – Featuring Batman: Arkham Asylum, DiRT 2, Ghostbusters and Euphoria

Arkham Asylum. It’s the place where Batman’s most psychotic foes are kept under lock and key…at least, until the Joker takes control. Developer Rocksteady Games brings us inside the Gotham City landmark—the location of their upcoming game.

Who You Gonna Call?
It may have been twenty years since the Ghostbusters last strapped on their proton packs, but the films have not been forgotten. Audrey Cleo catches up with Dan Aykroyd about his contributions as writer and voice actor in the new game that’s revitalized the beloved franchise.

Take a Spin
Veronica Belmont also visits Codemasters in the UK for an early look at the next iteration in its DiRT rally racing series evolving the gameplay with improved handling and new stadium events.

Natural Co-Motion
Euphoria, developed to create extremely realistic character AI and animation in upcoming games such as Backbreaker, will change the way you play– foregoing canned animation for real-time interaction. We take a close look at this new technology.

I have a question

Could one of the PSblog guys explain to me why the US is getting it in every copy of inFamous plus QORE and here in the UK we only get it if we order inFamous with play.com??

I have had a pre-order for inFamous for months from another website and now may have to cancel it due the beta of my favourite game’s sequel.

Will we have any other way of getting the beta in the UK??

I would like to Subscribe to Qore right now but it says ( Subscription-April 2009) which is $24.99.. now should i wait till it says (Subscription-May 2009)? or should i do so right now??

I’m really glad I bought core!!! The extras are well worth the price of admission. Especially when the demo is drakes!!!! I’m also looking forward to seeing the demo for dirt 2.

P.S how can we get are hands on one of those cool racing seats ;-) I guess my g25 will do for now

I have been a Qore subscriber from day one and this is one of only 2 episodes that have truly interested me. Luckily there have been enough “freebies” to cover to cost of entry.

Ok i am now officially LOVING the fact i bought qore! it has completly turned around this year! I’m liking it so much that im really considering buying it again when my subscription expires

I agree some others here. You would think a better marketing approach would of been to include the infamous demo this month and uncharted demo next month. Could of used Qores Uncharted beta to boost subscribtion renewals.

i have to say QORE have been worth the $25. plus everything you get Qore pay for its self. From Socom beta, Resistance beta, Home beta, various demos full games, wallpapers and themes.

i you didn’t get your voucher like what was stated either you put the wrong e-mail or in your account. you have the part that say would you like to receive promotional blah blah uncheck

Hello,

For the past betas, I’ve been pretty much screwed because I’m under 18 (probably anyway – did not receive R2 or SOCOM betas). Since this is a T rated game will I have access to the beta, even though I’m under 18? I know it says ‘all users’ but I’m pretty sure it said that the last times too.

This is probably only the second time I’ve been interested in the content of an episode of Quore (the other time beeing the issue with RE5 & Burnout P.). Now, I haven’t actually purchased an episode yet, but am considering it. I might give a subscription consideration at some point as well, but HVB doesn’t really grab me. I really like a previous posters suggestion of providing a choice of three titles or so for annual subscriber bonus. Surely the selection on PSN is large enough that we could have one of three titles that have tapered off sales wise, and are of decent quality.

Speaking of which, kudos to whoevers picked the “bonus” games. I think most of us recognize that these titls won’t be Street Fighter II HD, or Fat Princess, but the games picked IMHO don’t suck.

So it seems that Quore is starting to come together, all it needs now is some consistancy to the features, tweeking of the bonuses provided, and perhaps some critical reviews of new/upcoming titles to get rid of that “Quore is a big ad” vibe. I’m not ready to subscribe at this point, but am considering paying for an episode ;)

Hello I have a question regarding Patapon 2. Sorry if its off topic. Can anyone please help me out?
Good day to the reader of this message. Well my problem is that I just bought the download only title “Patapon 2” for the PSP. It comes with a voucher to downlaoad the game. And to reedem your code you need to tear the sticker to see your 12 digit code. Well when I was peeling the sticker off the sticker also peeled off the first 4 digits of the code and I only have the last 8 digits to my code. the last 8 digits to my code are 5LB5-LP2G. And I can only make out the first digit to the first set of 4 codes and the first digit is a J. I hope this helps. Can you guys please help me retrieve the other 3 digits?

Why are you waiting for a bowling coupon? HVB can be dowloaded by annual subscribers via Qore without a voucher. It has been that way for at least the past two episodes. Didn’t I tell you this same thing last month? Maybe you aren’t a subscriber?

You have clearly never sent an email to Sony’s email customer service. If you had, you wouldn’t be reccomending someone contact them to get an issue resolved.

SCEA’s email customer service is the worst email customer service I have ever recieved. Its disgracefully bad even by industry standards(poor email customer service seems to be accepted for reasons I will never understand).

Every email is monitored for speed of service, but only a fraction are monitored for qualilty and horrible customer service is the result.

I still have my entire email chain from my adventures with SCEA’s email customer service trying to get my Home Beta code if you’d like to see it.

The following are typical replies you get from SCEA’s email customer service:

1) You only get a response to one question when I asked 3 in the email

2) You get a cut and paste response that is “on topic” but does not answer your question(example: you send an email asking “will the PSP accept 16gb Memory Stick Pro Duo’s?”, and recieve a cut and paste reply for “what type of memory cards does the PSP support?”)

3) You recieve the totally wrong cut and paste response. (You ask a question about apples and get a response about oranges.)

4) Email rep needlessly extends the email chain by asking you to provide more info, not because they need it to resolve your issue, but because they want to keep their personal Speed of service up and just hope your reply doesn’t drop into their workstation 2-3 days later

Requests for complaints to be forwarded to a supervisor are ignored on a regular basis too.

Qore subscribres need a seperate email address to get subscription issues quickly and properly addressed.

Also, you still owe us all an appology for how you handled the Home Beta invites for Qore subscribers*

*It was totally unacceptable for you to pormise me a code. Then, not send it to me till 2 days before the Home Beta went public a full 6 weeks after I was promised it.

Meanwhile tens of thousands of invites are going out to people who were not specificly promised an invite, including totaly random unsolicited invites.

I hope you plan on doing a million times better durring the next year.

Dude! We need PSN cards in Canada, i was lucky enough to convince my parents to use there credit card last June to purchase Qore but i can’t do it twice. Plus i dont feel like going to Florida and buying one that wont even work on my PSN account.

Unless of course Sony let me use Paypal on PSN, otherwise I’m forced not to buy this!

Awesome for the Uncharted beta, I think this is one benefit or feature that has become useful from Qore. Most of the other items offered, I already owned. I am sure many will also state they paid for 13 episodes, but two of them were given away for free…

Either way, I hope you all have been receiving feedback regarding Qore and plan to respond or implement some of those suggestions. Thanks.

Also, those who do subscribe by May 15th, do they just get the May and June episodes on their subscription or do they get included on the next round of subscriptions after June?

It would seem rather pointless and idiotic for someone to pay a $20+ subscription fee or 2 episodes.

so if High Velocity Bowling was already a DL’able game, why put it in on this Episode of Qore also ? why not put something new ?
im not trying to beat a dead horse here, but we went about 4 consecutive months (give or take) with the aforementioned Calling All Cars. after being one of the original subscribers, i highly doubt i will subscribe for another year. i was very disappointed with some of the ” perks “, we were promised, and have yet to see.

Your annual subscription is from the month of purchase for a year. May 2009-May 2010 would be your subscription range if you order later today. All the talk referring to June expiration/renewal is for the people who subscribed in June 2008 (the first episode).
