MGSTigerFox, there’s no way that they can afford that. A drop to $49.99 would be suicide for Sony and 3rd party developers. Never going to happen.

I’ve been hoping Uncharted would be a greatest hit soon as i know this game sold very well. i have yet to still play this game and would like to before Uncharted 2 comes out but im not paying full price for a game that game out i think 2 years ago. there’s newer games i rather support for full price.

I made the terrible mistake of selling Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction for a Gamestop Trade-In Promotion…I’ve been looking to re-buy the game at a lower price point for a while now. Glad to see this excellent PS3 exclusive available as part of the Greatest Hits library.
I too am looking forward to the addition of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune to this list by the end of the year. I have a feeling the next list of GH games will be: Uncharted, Fallout 3, Call of Duty 4, and perhaps Heavenly Sword?

Uncharted probably won’t drop to $30 until next year it still continues to sell well despite being $60 still or when Uncharted 2 comes out. I wish Uncharted was a Greatest Hits instead of Battlefield: Bad Company since I can pick that up for $20 at Sears on clearance. MGS4 being a GH makes sense since MGS5 is being announced at E3. Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction I picked up for $14 last year at Target. DMC4 I seen for $30 at Target but they never have it in stock. Great lineup but only 6 games?! Wish we could have like 12 games to chose from.

Uncharted isn’t included because a price reduction would conflict with the 160GB Uncharted SKU. Until the PS3 gets a price cut Uncharted will be full price.
I dont understand the deal behind GT 5, I mean platinum means half the price, GT 5 pro was 40$, it should be down to 20$ instead of 30$. Even 40$ was rip off in my opinion.
No need to add Heavenly Sword to greatest hits. Just patch that game with Trophy support and I’ll be happy.
if all those games were at $60 except for the GT5, and all of them droped to $30, the GT5 just dropped $10…if drops to $20 i’ll buy…not paying $30 for a demo of a game that just disapeared
Did Sony just hire tools for marketing? Seriously, what’s the problem with year old games not being on the GH list. Since you released them now, I don’t expect E3 fanfair, but why is a few key exclusives missing from the list of GH?
I think I know now. Whoever came up with the shelf rotting “uncharted 160gb” bundle means you can’t lower the price of the game until the bundle is removed from shelves. It would lower the value of the bundle and sit on shelves longer.
I will wait it out. However I’m seriously considering “used” as it’s glutted the market with those copies from the 160GB bundle. I would rather you and ND see the profits they buy used.

I would add Heavenly Sword to the greatest hits list, it’s my ps3 favorite game! In Mexico it’s one of the most expensive games in all stores ranging from $85 to $95 american dollars.
I could have placed bets that Uncharted would be a Greatest Hit just before Uncharted 2 came out, I know it will be eventually.

Wow, although some of these games are being available for months in the Platinum-section here in Europe (Platinum = Greatest Hits, 30 euros), I’m freakin’ jealous because you don’t get those ugly yellow covers!
Please Sony, redesign the Platinumbrand. Those covers have gotten uglier every generation (PSX: nice, PS2: ugly, but doable, PS3: outragous)
Why is Uncharted not on this list? I know that to be Greatest Hits, it must sell over 1 million or so. The game broke 2 million, came out in ’07, and it’s still not GH list yet.
It’d be awesome if a trophy patch would hit all these new ‘Greatest Hits.’ :)

sony must have a lot of announcements to make at E3 because we’ve been getting announcements that should be part of the show , i think sony will impress this E3 , for them to be showing Uncharted 2 , Heavy Rain , MAG and even released the news of the new greatest hits says something , they must have better announcements to make at E3 , at least thats what im perceiving
do the Greatest Hits titles have to be put in those ugly red cases ? honestly it just reminds me of those ugly HD DVD cases.

Finally I will be picking up Ratchet and Clank. I’ve been waiting for a price drop forever. I agree with others that Uncharted and Heavenly Sword need to be GH by now. Heavenly Swords been out forever and a day and still $60. That’s just ridiculous.

I was really hoping Uncharted would be on this list. I’ve already beaten it twice on my friend’s copy and was waiting for it to drop in price before I got it myself because I can’t justify paying full price for a game I’ve already beaten twice (no matter how awesome it is). I guess I’ll have to satisfy my cravings with the beta next week.

The reason why Uncharted ain’t a Greatest Hits is because its bundled with 160GB PS3 bundle. If Sony were to introduce another bundle to replace the Uncharted bundle I am sure Uncharted would of been a Greatest Hits. Either that or Sony wants people to buy Uncharted at $60 and its sequel when it comes out. I bet next year we’ll see Uncharted become a Greatest Hits around E3 2010.

I keep telling new PS3 users to check out Uncharted. I always tell them, “It’s been out for a while, should be low, if not Greatest Hits by now.” And then they see $59.99.
wow c’mon uncharted guys. I got my copy at blockbuster for 19.99 they might still have it if anyone wants to give it a try, they had alot of good games for cheap.
