In case you haven’t noticed, the almighty Internets have been abuzz with gossip about E3, PlayStation Home, and where the two will meet. Well I’m here to put the rumors to rest once and for all, and confirm what the community has been whispering about in the corners of Home over the last month.
Here’s the deal: We will be showcasing a special taping of Jack Tretton’s E3 Keynote Address in-world come Tuesday evening. We’ll also be bringing you tons of showroom floor footage, developer interviews, sneak peeks, and other cool vids courtesy of our friends over here at the PlayStation.Blog. All you have to do is head over to the Presentation Podium to watch it on the big screen. This special Events space is accessible via the Menu Pad – just press Start > Locations > World Map then select the PlayStation Home World Map chip and press X. This will break out into several other chips; just scroll over to the Presentation Podium chip, press X, and teleport your self to the party.
This shindig is running for the entirety of E3. That’s right – 3 full days. So whether you’re a morning bird or a night owl, you can come into PlayStation Home and check out this hot footage. We’ll also be giving away limited-time, exclusive virtual items. But you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled and make sure that you are in-world all-day, every day if you want to get them all…
Not streaming it live is a bit of a disappointment. Seems like a great opportunity to show off Home… which seems to be down right now…

I don’t know what you guys are talking about with the buffering every few seconds, mine works perfectly fine and only buffers when the videos reset, bad internet connection maybe? Anyways, Microsoft didn’t impress me, didn’t come out with anything original except Allen Wake and Project Natal. I’m sure Sony can top them. I’ll be disappointed if they don’t.
Nintendo’s press conference sucks!

Um, why are all you people complaining about Metal Gear going to 360? Metal Gear was NEVER exclusive to PlayStation; it started on Nintendo and even MGS2 was on Xbox. Konami is taking its game multiplatform because times are hard and development studios are shutting down left and right. They have to expand to increase sales so they can stay afloat. It isn’t as if MGS: Rising is a 360 exclusive. It’s already been confirmed that it will be on PS3, 360, and PC.
Remember, we will have the better graphics and sound, too, because we have the more powerful console.
By the way, what the hell was so impressive about Microsoft’s conference? I thought it was ass. You guys are worried about sissy-ass crap like Facebook and Twitter, and the 360 truly becoming the Wii60. Heh, seriously, are you all girls or what? Pathetic. Real gamers are all about the games, and the best thing about Microsoft’s conference was that they’re finally getting a small piece of OUR world with MGS: Rising. Other than that, what, Splinter Cell and Forza? Woopty-freakin-doo. Bore me some more.
After their conference it’s very clear that PlayStation is the only hardcore gaming console left, and they truly do have the best, and most exclusive core games coming out. You sell-outs jump ship if you want, but you’re acting like girls. Have fun jumping around your living room on your Wii60 like idiots.
I must say that playstation held it down at the E3. the psp go, god of war 3, the create your own race car game, and so much more. I did wish that they was gonna drop the price a little so we can get more people; however, i feel the ps3 did an excellent job. way better than nintendo. lmao
