Fallout 3 Downloadable Content on PSN

Hello PlayStation fans. I’m Ashley Cheng, a producer at Bethesda Game Studios, here to give everyone an update on when Fallout 3 DLC will be available via PlayStation Network.

Fallout 3 Anchorage PS3

We’re excited and eager to bring Fallout 3 DLC to PSN. Unfortunately, the content is going to be releasing later than originally expected. Our DLC expands on the original game tremendously — each DLC offering 4-6 hours of additional content — and is no trivial undertaking. Here’s a brief look at the DLC you’ll be able to play.

  • Operation: Anchorage (pictured above) – Enter a military simulation and fight in one of the greatest battles of the Fallout universe – the liberation of Anchorage, Alaska from its Chinese Communist invaders.
  • The Pitt (pictured below) – Journey to the industrial raider town called The Pitt, located in the remains of Pittsburgh and choose sides in the battle between the slaves and the slavers.
  • Broken Steel (pictured below) – Join the ranks of the Brotherhood of Steel and rid the Capital Wasteland of the Enclave remnants once and for all. Continues the adventure past the main quest and raises the game’s level cap to 30.
  • Point Lookout – Explore a massive new swampland area filled with new quests and content.
  • Mothership Zeta – The aliens have returned, and they’re pissed. Experience an alien abduction first hand and find out if you’re tough enough to survive.

Fallout 3 Broken Steel PS3 Fallout 3 - Pitt PS3

What can you expect from our DLC?

  • More Fallout 3 Goodness – More weapons, more creatures, more armor and outfits, more characters to interact with, and more loot. You’ll find all of these within the unique new locations of Broken Steel, Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, Point Lookout, and Mothership Zeta.
  • DLC Trophies – Did I mention we’re supporting trophies in each DLC? This was a big priority for us and one of the reasons for the extra time needed. In the end, we think it’s worth the effort to bring trophies to the DLC.
  • Support for existing characters and saves – Once you’ve downloaded and installed the DLC, the content is accessible at anytime (once you leave Vault 101). You can play the DLC whenever you want — with one exception (see Broken Steel below).

So when can you expect Fallout 3 DLC? We are knee deep in testing at the moment, and we’re hoping to have the first DLC out by the end of September. That long? Keep in mind that not only do we need to test each DLC on PS3, we also need to test each DLC when used in conjunction with each of the other DLC, as well as all of them together, along with the entire original game.

I do have good news! We have decided that Broken Steel will be the first release since it is easily the most requested DLC from our fans. Broken Steel allows you to continue playing the game after completing the Main Quest, raises the level cap to 30, and includes 4-6 hours of additional gameplay. It is also the one DLC that requires you to finish the Main Quest from the game to play the new content. Regardless of whether you’ve completed the Main Quest, the level cap will already be raised and higher level characters will begin encountering some of the new enemies in the Capital Wasteland. For the release of Broken Steel and the other DLCs, we’ll release a new update for the game.

After Broken Steel, we’ll be releasing Operation: Anchorage and The Pitt shortly thereafter, probably at the same time – just to get them out to you as soon as we can. After that we’ll have Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta available as soon as we can, so that the wait between DLC is as short as possible. Once we release Broken Steel, we’ll have a better idea when the other DLC will be coming and will let you know specifics.

We hope you enjoy Fallout 3’s DLC. Thank you for your patience. They’ll be here before you know it.

As you Cleverly guessed, english isn’t my mother language. I could apologize, but then again I prefer to explain you “my point”.

The fact that businesses are like that, work like that, does not EXONERATE a videogame company of acting like Bethesda is.And the fact that a company is trying to be more profitable does not reflect in end product quality. That were my points.

Criterion are profitable (third party), IW are profitable (third party), Naughty Dog are profitable (F.Party).

They are all businesses, and they decided not to screw over people.

Well, yeah(again), my point was that you can’t clean Bethesda’s blame by saying “Whaddaya know you kids,y’all don’t know how money works, I’ve had a Burger King franchise in my town blahblahblah yadda yadda” Because of the existence of other business models that don’t necessarily spit on the face of consumers.

Then again, How do you explain Bethesda’s buggy games? is it because “how ignorant us kids are” too?

So yes, my english is terrible
    And yes,you’re a sophist.

  • @394 clupula668
No I never ran a business before and HOPE I NEVER DO. I do not have it in me to left many of my consumers in the cold for a year before giving them the full experience my product offer. Me personal, I would rather make less profit and make part of my consumer base feel I screw them over. That is why I would never make it is business because I do not like being screwed over and do not like screwing over others.

And it seems that you only look at the numbers and not the whole picture. It is pointless to have a conversation with you if you are unwilling to see the entire picture rather than just sales and number. I see what you are coming from, but you seem not to get where many people that commented are coming from.

  • @403
Sorry, it should read “Me personal, I would rather make less profit than make part of my consumer base feel I screw them over” not “Me personal, I would rather make less profit and make part of my consumer base feel I screw them over.”

  • i cant wait to play the dlc but i am kinda sick of some people complaining i mean at least you guys have working ps3s mine got the ylod like 2 months ago and i’ll get a new sometime in august o and i’ve had fallout 3 since the game came out on 10/31/08 and i never plan to get rid of it

  • Nice of Bethesda to bring over Fallout 3 DLC to PS3. Though, I’m sure due to the lengthy delay in releasing the content it may have shrunk potential sales as many PS3 gamers (like myself) have already moved on to newer games. Hopefully, for Bethesda’s sake, the amount of money received from Microsoft makes up for that lost revenue.

  • @clupula668

Gee, have you run your business into the ground yet?

If you are ONLY focusing on money then you obviously are not a business major. There are many other factors to create a successful business model, and customer service is one of them. Focusing on strictly bringing in the money may be nice for the time being, but in order to retain those customers and be successful in the long run you have to eventually focus on customer satisfaction.

Im sorry, but Bethesda screwed up. In those meetings of profit and loss they will definitely take into consideration the sales numbers AND the exclusiveness/timeframe of the releases. To only look at money gained and NOT the reasons behind it would be a foolish move for any business.

  • @ 26 if square did ever post hear they would pretty much get booed out im glad we are getting it i personally am getting the goty edition because ive had some some issues with my dlc for oblivion but that was on the 360 version and i want to get this on the ps3 because i cant geet 1080p out of my 360 thxs to there being no hdmi on it because i got mine at launch so glad i could get this game on a console i dont have to worry about having to replace when it feels like breaking

  • THIS IS BS!!!! The people at bethesda promised it to be released late june early july…and now were going to get it one month before the release of the GOTY???? how does that make sense…if your going to do that then just dont bother cuz whose going to spend the 50 bucks to buy all the dlc’s when you can get them plus the gmae in two weeks for 10$ more. Bethesda is clearly not thinking straight if they thing people will buy these dlc’s so late after the release of this game. All they are looking for is a repeat of the oblivion expansion pack.

  • Freaking FINALLY!! But along with the PS3 version I have the best version of them all: The PC version. Mods AND expansions! Suck it, everyone else!

I’m glad the PS3 is finally getting it’s share though.

  • Also, stop complaining everybody. Bethesda is trying their best to get this released as soon as possible, so just shut up and appreciate it. They’re only human. Would you rather not have it at all?

If you wanted the good stuff, you should have just got the PC version. The majority of you have PCs, I’m certain. If they suck at playing games, just upgrade it a bit. It doesn’t cost as much as you think. Plus mods! Shut up, all of you.

  • The DLC isn’t that good anyways.

  • Oh, for everyone upset about how he didn’t tell us exactly how much the DLC would cost, I did some looking around and it should be 800 Microsoft Points each.

  • I would so trade in my Fallout 3 game and get the GOTY version :)

    Thanks Bethesda!

  • gah…and now they decide to release it? i hope it for free and that they fix the glitches that plagued the game…i’m getting tired of having to constantly save every 5 minutes before my game freeze on me…

but then, why should i pick it up again? i already traded it in for KZ2…but i can alway rent it…hope they’re offering this DLC for free…considering how PS3 gamers never got the patch we needed…

  • @411 “Would you rather not have it at all?”,

Well, I prefer to be told the truth. Bethesda told us they weren’t going to release any DLC, to make us buy the plain regular Fallout. If we knew a GOTY edition or DLC was in the cards, we could’ve at least had a choice.

We were subjects for monetary speculation here, and you complaining about us complaining are the ones who have to get it straight.

“Shut up, all of you”, very polite… Let me guess, you live in Rockland, Maryland and you father works for Zenimax.

  • Nobody should buy this. PlayStation 3 owners were treated as second class citizens and therefore shouldn’t give the developer ANY more money. Disgraceful.

  • @416

    Rockville, not Rockland. Rockland sucks.

  • I feel Bethesda is once again short changing PS3 gamers again with it’s downloadable content. It was so nice to see they brought Shivering Isles to Oblivion but why stop there? Compliment the full gameplay experience and give PS3 users the access to DLC the rest of the gaming community receives.

I’m worried now that Bethesda will again let PS3 users down by either releasing a few of the Fallout 3 expansion DLCs rather than all of them. My motto, “Equal DLCs for PS3s!”

Ashley Cheng, I post to you and appreciate your honest answers:

How committed is Bethesda really to releasing all Fallout 3 DLCs to PS3 users?

  • Oops, I forgot my manners.

“Thank you Sony for helping to bring Fallout 3 DLC to PS3!”

Really, I’ll be thankful when I can actually download it. Next time, show some fanancial fortitude and take the exclusive first rights on these projects!

Do you think in the meantime you can toy with our material longing for DLC and at least make a Playstation HOME site. Think about it, we could purchase a Megaton shack or Tenpenny Tower suite that we could decorate it with our trophies, dress in Pre-war Casual attire, sitting around our Raider-themed bench hopelessly listening to “I Don’t Want To Set The World on Fire” until September comes around.

    – Putting Fallout 3 on the shelf or listed for resale on eBay.

  • Now dont get me wrong when I ask this. I am a playstation 1,2, & 3 owner I understad that we feel like we got hosed and we did, but my question and I hoped Ashley would have kept answering questions but maybe someone on the blog can

How big is the dev. team at Bethesda for the PS3?

That could be one of the main reasons that we have not seen much support I know another dev stated that they wanted to wait to produce a PS3 title until they get enough people working on the PS3.

I am just trying to think about the whole picture, maybe they just don’t have enough people working on the PS3 side of the game

  • ps3 is always late…

  • Hi Ashley,

While I’m still kind of angry at how Bethsoft have been treating PS3 owners, I’m really eager to give the GOTY-edition a try. If you guys fix the glitches/freezing/bugs, that is. That’s when you’ll get my 60 bucks.

    Thanks.

  • @336 Blooodycow
Of course you will never be a businessman, you won’t last a day. And what it’s this you say about this been over price DLC , yes it’s 9+ months late but last time I check we are paying the same price 360 fans paid for they DLC. Yes you will save your money for other games coming out and guess what….. those companies will screw you over too. Do you own GTA4 blooodycow? Cause if you do rockstar screw you over too went they make 360 exclusive DLC, soo I’m guessing you won’t buy anything coming from rockstar anymore, wait let me read your future……………………. If you keep this plan in two years from now you won’t buy anymore games cause every game company screw you over (hey at least you will save even more money with this plan). Now ask yourself this: how is that even after announcing no DLC fallout 3 was the #1 most sold game (FOR PS3) on different stores???or why every time LBP comes out with a DLC (like the Ghostbusters one) people come here talking about this been another rip off or this DLC s**k , but they turn around and buy the DLC???

  • @RyanMCBainDOTcom
I don’t bend over and grab my ankles, for me if the DLC comes for ps3 great , if not I really don’t care, I got a life and more important things to do. I don’t come here to cry, hate or threat companies about not buying their games, guess what they don’t care if you do or not (they will make a lot of money anyways) and I bet that fallout 3 DLC will sell a lot on ps3. My ps3 is an entertainment system for me, I’m not a fanboy or a 360 hater, I’m a gamer and I enjoy playing games, if a company likes or not the system I decided to buy, I can care less . money run this world and every company (game company or not) love money, the sooner you understand this, the sooner you will get over it and the better you will feel!!!

  • people that moan saying they suck, you people are idiots, with this much negative feedback they might aswell make there next game 360, pc exclusive then you moan why ain’t it on here. anyway good news mostly.

  • @424 ramos0749
Yes the DLC are over price. They should have at least reduce the price by $5 dollars for making the people wait that are stilling going to buy this crap.
Second, I did own GTA IV. We knew about the exclusive DLC and knew that they was never coming the PS3. Bethesda Softworks on the other hand clearly lied to the PS3 community about the DLC coming to the PS3. That is my problem with them.

And in the future if companies keep doing this to there consumer, whether is the xbox 360 or PS3, I will buy their game used if its interest me. I am the type of person that do not like see companies screwing over their consumers who purchase their games. That why I got Dead Space used because the PS3 had exclusive content at launch that are not on the xbox 360.

  • This is a difficult situation for PS3 owners. On one hand, we can say “Bethesda, you gave us a crappy port, you LIED to us, and now you expect us to pay the same price (I believe it is $8.99 or so) for content MONTHS after it’s released on other platforms?” Well now Bethesda can say, “Hey, we’re obviously not wanted here, so next time we’ll give PS3 owners nothing.”

As consumers who have given money to Bethesda, we have a right to complain. It’s our money, not yours, and you better do a better job of convincing us we should give it to you. Why call something “multiplatform” if it’s actually going to be “multiplatform – except the PS3 doesn’t get content on time”.

And make sure you actually test the games before you release them. I am well aware of the fact that you pulled both the Operation Anchorage and The Pitt of the MS servers the same day they were released because they were so buggy and didn’t put them back up for download for a couple of days. And don’t think I’ve forgotten about the Shivering Isles bug (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Shivering:Reference_Bug ) that nearly made me return it.

  • Think about your actions and the repercussions next time. How did you think your fans would feel if you pulled a stunt like this? How do you think it will help you in the long term? What do you think is better: making a single company happy and getting a different demographic extremely angry, or treating all consumers equally and making them all happy so they flock to your future projects?

Treat the PS3 as you would the Xbox or the PC. It’s not like you aren’t rolling in money and can’t afford the PS3 programmers to do the job. The PS3 has been out for nearly three years now. That’s a long time. No more excuses. There’s nothing stopping you from making everyone happy.

  • Now, Rockstar turn around and give us the GTAIV DLC (and there are rumors circulating that they will), are you all going to treat them like this? Keep in mind, you’ve waited for how long for this? Another three months will kill you? Not to mention, if they did release it in June and it was horribly buggy as the 360 versions were, you’d all be complaining that they should’ve delayed them.

  • Even though I’m hugely disappointed with the news, man O man am I glad to finally get some fresh news!!!
The responses I have read here are pretty harsh, and unfortunately so deeply true, it has been unfair for us, but we have to keep looking at the bright side, we ARE getting the DLC, before the May announcement, I thought that day would never come! Thank You Bethesda!

But I still have a question for Bethesda!
So: Will everything from previous DLCs be included, and will somehow, a little “bonus” be included in the downloads?
    -an exclusive outfit perhaps?
    -customization options (items colous maybe)?
-implementation of the debug console? (JOKES!)

Something small and that can be done in a day or 2, something tiny and not time consuming but so significant, a small message that makes us want to smile!
A small, pre-war relic/statue, which when taken shows a message to the community (like a bobblehead)!

    It’s up to you Bethesda!

Hope to hear from you guys soon! And thanks so much in advance!

  • @407

You missed my point. Customer service is very important, BUT if there’s a completely happy group I’m already selling to, and they make me a profit, why should I risk money on the unproven one? Now, my regular customers are unhappy, of course, I’d try to fix stuff for them. Or if the new group were to become regulars, I’d do little things here and there to keep them around. But if I can’t count on their business, while another group is proven, then I’m not going out of my way for them.

Let me give you a clearer example: If the 360 version of Bionic Commando had sold well, we wouldn’t have seen the upcoming BCR trophy patch. But since both versions sold poorly, Capcom decided to try to make up the sales by giving us what we wanted, in the hopes that PS3 owners will be enticed to make up for the financial shortfall. That is the only time a boycott can work. If the company has NO CHOICE. Bethesda will always have 360/PC consumers, so any type of boycott would simply be counter-productive to PS3 users.

  • keep it up ive been lookin forward fo dez fo a wile now. still alittle pissed thow…but as long as they come out when you say it is all is forgivein :D (no 1 corect my spelling or gramer plz) >:O

  • @#375 clupula668 —

Finally someone who gets it. I am a ps3 only owner, and to the people who say; “well they shouldn’t release it to ps3 at all” blah blah blah…. “I’m not goint to buy this blah blah blha….” You do realize that you will only be hurting us with your butsore attitudes. Sure it was messed up the M$ bribe, but guess what they are making it up to us. They didn’t have to release this to us at all. If that was the case then I would still be mad, but it’s not we are getting it so stfu! it’s coming out, buy it play it and be happy.

It’s obvious half of you stating you don’t care and crap will buy it, you love the game just like i do. I love RPGS of all kinds, and I want ps3 to have all the RPG support it can get. I am willing to bet half the people who whine like kids played this game like a shooter and not a rpg… yeah I’ve seen twitch freaks on you-tube playing this not even realizing what “VATS” is.

  • The thing is sales speak volumes. if you want more support, buy the damn dlcs. period. Don’t ruin it for the rest of us. You guys whine about this and whine about $6.00 kz2 map packs and whine about Sony updates…. you give us a bad name. You don’t buy games, how old are you ps blog posters? I am 30 and own over 100 ps3/psn games…why aren’t you guys buying up games. That is what is required to get 3rd party support! How did you afford the ps3 in the first place if you can’t afford the software? Seriously. And to the people saying they resold the game as they do if nothing comes out for it…. what happened to “Collecting games?” are you guys so cheap and poor that you don’t return to games that you played? I am sick of the whinny brats on these posts… Sony needs to get a moderator on this blog pronto!

  • so why buy the DLC when the GOTY edition supposedly has all of the DLC bundled together & is cheaper than waiting for each individual one to come out

  • @435 midnightshade
    I am 20 and I own over 75 PSN and Blu-Ray PS3 games.

don’t ruin it for the rest of us? Don’t make me laugh. Why should I support a company with my hard earn money when they do not have any respect for 1/3 of their consumer base?
In these economic times, people do not have as much room to spend money on whatever the want now. So they finish a game, then they have all right to resell it in order to afford more games. When I resell a game that I do not feel to keep in my collection, I purchase a new game rather than a used game unless I cannot find a copy of that game.

Speaking of sales, are you one of those idiots that think Sales in the US means everything? EA, Konami, and several other companies made more profit on the PS3 than any other system last year. You retarded comment about PS3 owners not buying games is just that, retarded.

If you are sick of people complaining, then do everyone a favor and stop visiting the blogs. You are a hypocrite because you complaining about other people complains, but yet you are complaining about them.

  • Oh, okok, for sincerity’s sake, I also whine often about SCEE.

  • #1

    You guys are liars.

    #2

    You guys are liars.

    #3

    See #1 & #2.

Hey you didn’t want my money when you lied about DLC.. and you’re still not getting it.

Nothing but a bunch of cowards that can’t even respond. Just keep smiling and pretending that there aren’t 300 pizsed off comments from people.

Go make exclusive garbage for the 360 every month. They buy anything. Thats 2 developers im not supporting anymore. In 1 day lol..

  • @427 blooodycow
hey i understand you and i wish they would give us a discount for waiting, but we know that ain’t happening.i’m going to buy the goty edition cause i want to experience the 5 dlc by myself. all i’m saying is that most of the people that come here talking crap about bethesda are the ones that make them thing that we don’t want dlc and they are the same people that will kiss bethesda’s azz when the DLC come out and will buy more games from them. oh and yes people fallout new vegas it’s been developed by Obsidian Entertainment but it’s been published by Bethesda Softworks, soo bethesda it’s somehow involve.

  • Why wasn’t Bethesda “excited and eager” to release DLC a year ago?

Make no mistake, I will buy the GOTY edition. However Bethesda would be wise to learn from the mistakes at GM. GM killed Oldsmobile and anticpated the customers going to a different GM brand, guess what; didn’t happen. GM never got the volume back it lost when olds was killed.

Screw us on our Playstation and we may not buy your stuff on the P.C. or 360(Some of us have all the gaming systems). I am a Sony fanboy and have been since I got a PS1 for Christmas when I was 13. I currenty have a 60GB PS3 and a Snow White edition PS2. I have Oblivion for PS3.

I will buy the GOTY edition, but so god help me it had better be flawless and not gimped unless you really want to alientate what few supporters you have left in the Playstation Universe.

  • Let’s face the fact bethesda is not reading any more of our posts. well at lest not answering the 400 pissed off blogers. This gose to show they really don’t care about us.
SHAM ON YOU BETHESDA YOU LOST MY SUPPORT SCREW YOU AND YOUR LIES AND YOUR DECEPTION. Hey here’s a question well you were making point look out WHY didn’t it come in to your corrupt mind to i don’t know make it for the PS3 as well? im more pissed that you didn’t decide to make it for both platforms. seeing as how you lied that anchorage was coming out about the same time, you could have given use point look out then start converging the rest of the DLCS.
    To
    every one reading this bloge.

    1. They were to bezzy with point look out
    2. This gose to show why they ether didn’t start the DLC for PS3 or their won’t be one
    3. This gose to show they don’t care about PS3 and their fans.
    4. EVERY ONE SHOULD DEMAND FROM BETHESDA TO MAKE MOTHER SHIP ZETA (if its steal in production) TO BE MADE FOR THE PS3, AND BE RELEASED ON AUGUST 3rd THE SAME DAY AS XBOX, TO MAKE UP FOR THE DECEPTION AND FALSE PROMISE OF SUPPOSABLE MAKING OR RELEASING THE DLC’S!!!!

  • I’ll [DELETED] buy it, but Im sure as hell getting my moneys worth.

I’ll make sure I gameshare with all my friends that have F3 as many times as possible so you monkies get almost no profit off of me!

This is like the whole crap with TES4O, loved the game, but NO ONE at Bethe$da gives a flying [DELETED] about the PS3 so stop acting, because it’s not working!

@ the ppl that say “at least we’re getting the dlc, they done got all of M$’s money, so now they turn to PS3 and hold they’re hands out like some deadbeat who will betray us again by taking our $ and make dlc or even a game exlusively for 360!

Also to you ppl that like to get ran over, what the hell is wrong with you???

    A very unsatisfied customer,

  • This time I FORGIVE you Bethesda, but IF something like this time exclusive feces would happen in the future (FO:NewVegas, new Oblivion, and more) I’m not gonna bother to even look at or for your titles
hey I’m letting you, Bethesda, deserve a 2nd chance here, just don’t mess with the fans:
    fair enough?
*thinking that 1 customer refusing to buy won’t hurt business? Relax, there are Megatons of retards and trolls like me on Earth

  • I agree absolutely with Joemamma 14. If that’s not an 360 exclusive then THEY HAVE THE OBLIGATION to release mother ship zeta at the same time that the 360 version! This guys are playing constantly with ps3 users and they don’t give a crap about us. It would be nice seeing here a post that at least tell us “We’re sorry about mess this thing up, we made a mistake, give us a secon d chance”. but they don’t have the dignity to at least post a coment of that sort. And now they come with the all excited crap conversation that are very please to make this hit the ps3. Of course! We are very excited to earn more money by giving you a year late content that’s starting to get obsolute and everyone is happy them. NO! We are not jerks and fools, só only if two conditions are reunited: 1- An formal Apologize from all the crap you did to us 2- Reduced Price for the dlc or new content to justify the same price than on the other plataforms. Only if this happens you will see my contribution in september for your dlc, case not, go earn money with the microsoft from the 360 version and lose equally a bunch of money with all the piracy from the pc version that you know that exist.

  • Bethesda,

I hope you are reading all this, as there is at least 95% of us who feel this way. This is not the way to treat the fans and PS3 users. I hope you dont think that we will buy it regardless, as this is not the case. This will cost you business now and in the future! There are 444 posts to this blog and the overall result is a ton of fans who feel screwed! This isnt new news, you basically told us the same thing in a new form and then screwed us and made us feel like crap! The Brotherhood expansion according to your first mention of it, if we go by your time scale, was already supposed to come out in September! So you really arent doing us any favors. I have a feeling you will be pushing back the GOTY for the PS3 because of this, and if thats the case you have lost my business! If I do decide to purchase it, I will wait till I can find a used copy because I will no longer support your company. I hope many others follow the same path. Stop screwing over the PS3 users!

  • Sign the Fallout 3 DLC screwjob petition!!
    http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/fallout-3-ps3-dlc-delay

  • Look if any1 loves Fallout 3,it’s me. I’ve restarted the game 3 times becuz it’s that awesome. But when i heard only xbox and pc were getting the dlc’s, i got pissed. When i heard about the releasal of them on ps3, i wuz happy 2 hear that they were coming in late June. So i waited and waited and still no dlc’s. I just read this column and how is it possible that u miss ur own deadline that badly. WTH have u been up to??? I love besthesda and am probably still buying the dlc’s, but y do we, the people of psn hafta wait so long for 1 damn dlc and u keep pouring them on xbox and pc. That’s crap and u no it!

  • It looks like what this comes down to, but Bethesda will never admit, is that they’re going to make sure they get all of the DLC out (and on time) for the Xbox. Last DLC for them comes out in August, and we’re not getting our first till September?

Sounds like they’re not even going to bother with the PS3 till they take care of the Xboxers.

I wonder if someone bothered to explain to them that the later these things come out after the initial game, the less and less likely more people are to buy them, especially with quite a few good looking games coming this fall.

  • DLC should be free, for all the wanker moves you guys pulled on PS3 owners. I picked up my used copy of Fallout 3 for $20 and Im not buying any DLC

  • About time. I actually have all the systems and I used to think the 360 was the greatest, it actually was until Sony released the updates for the PS3, started having weekly content on the PS3 Store and opened up Home.

A word to all the Developers out there. The PS3 is going to take over the lead soon. The more People find out what the Ps3 is capable of, the more they will want one.

From being able to download store content to up to 5 systems, bluetooth being built in, internet browsing being so easy, wireless internet out of the box, VERY EASY to upgrade HDD which is near impossible on all other systems. The PS3 now blows all other systems away. I RARELY even turn on my 360.

You know what really sucks is I purchased Guitar Hero, Rock Band and all the DLC on my 360 and now I have to use it to play those games.

Anyways, I’m so Excited to FINALLY see this DLC on the way. I hated seeing it available on my 360 but not my PS3.
