Hey Everyone,
This is Deb Mars, Managing Producer at SCEA Santa Monica Studio. We know many of you are anxiously awaiting the sweet PlayStation Network arrival of none other than Her Royal Highness: Fat Princess.
You have been very patient, and we really do appreciate all your support. Since E3 back in early June, we and the fantastic development team at Titan Studios have been working very hard to get the fine lady and her beloved subjects all ready for their much-anticipated debut.
So here’s the deal: We have tons of info to share with you, but we want to take this opportunity to let you all ask the questions. So, go ahead…ask us. Let us know what you want to know.
Post questions below in response to this blog entry, and then we’ll gather a bunch of them to put forth to Titan Studios. They will answer these questions directly during a PlayStation Eye video chat interview with our good pal, Jeff R, next week.

and if the interview wasnt canceled then wth are they doing? because if it wasnt it should be over by now… sony isnt very good at informing their consumers are they?
and why did someone say it was “confirmed” that it had been canceled
and if they dont give us a release date its fine just as long as they give us a TIME FRAME because its gonna piss a lot of people off if they dont because thats pretty much what MORE THAN HALF the people that posteed on here asked
whens the update? its 2:00 PM over where i am and it still they still havent posted it
and also if it was coming out next week why not just release it thiis week? theres really not much you can do to a video game in a week

I too have problems with playing LBP online, which actually made me regret buying it. I really want to get FP, but if I won’t be able to play online, I see no point in buying it =/

Hey, it’s the 23rd of July and it is 7:00 pm Eastern Time and I see no Wipeout HD Fury expansion and no Killzone 2 map pack which were both supposed to be out today. The PSN store usually updates by an hour ago at the very latest. Anyone know what is going on?

Dirty Dave. I have a feeling for us atleast…If it is released Next week, It will be the 30th. I think it says 31st cause its Hong Kong, probly have differn’t update days. and man I hope PSN updates by the time I get on. Some updates take longer. Be patient people.
Also im a where of the Song. But that could just be a frame day. like from 30th to 31st it will be release in diferen’t regions. But Im not getting my hopes up until the actual information is said by Titan. But that also doesn’t mean I don’t fully doubt ur right Dirty Dave.
Why was it delayed and will there be XMB music support? Will gladiate have online support? Will there be moding tools?
I only heard about this game today, (while looking up the information on castle crashers being released on psn lol) and it looks awesome. Finally some quality psn games
Of course everyone is asking about the release date but I was wondering if you could give a rough estimate on the file size of this game and also if there is the possibility of trophy support?
hey why does the game not support split-screen??? its perfectly cable of providing a fun (if not better) experience with smaller screens as long as you have your buddies with you!!!
all the top franchises support it! warhawk, halo, CoD, etc…. they all do GREAT!!

Hey Everyone. So people stop getting all up Tight about the Blog PS Eye interview. They are aiming for Monday As quotes (“There will also be a PS Video posted on the PSBlog early next week. We are hoping for Monday..”)
But keep checking just in case they do release it early. Remember their real people with real lives, So either them Deb saying next week was a rough estimate or they had something to do before the Interview. Or it could’ve been Jeff R Who had a delay. But to keep people happy for awhile take a look at this for now.

Its a Pod Cast. That they did yesterday, Another reason for delay? They could of been booked, keeping busy busy? Interviews and etc.
@426 Azure Edge. Good question, How much will it take up?, either way the file will be worth the download.
So keep asking questions! You still have time!, But try to think of other questions than when is it going to be released, theres already tons of those questions (and hopefully they will answer it). Atleast ask another question if ur going to ask The release date. It’ll make the interview that much more intresting with a wide varity of questions.
P.S. For the Pod Cast, All of it is awesome to listen too. But if u want to get straight to the Titan Studios interview (My highlight of the Pod Cast). Skip the Pod Cast to 48:40, 48 minutes and 40 secsonds, and listen from there. You might have to let it load fully before you do this.

Yeah, I bet you are right about the time zone thing. I hope I’m right as well. Next week would be perfect in my book. Then we will have the whole month of August to battle it out for the big beauty! In the Podcast they metion a HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT ON MONDAY. Meaning its probly going to be said on the interview this MONDAY! Paitence is a Viture. A jug fills drop by Drop, You rush, You risk spilling a drop or even tipping the jug totally.

I’ll admit my reply was kinda mean. But its just how u are and how ur acting. Its just annoying seeing people that comment on things without knowing even a fact. Like both the release date of Fat Princess and people think there was a major problem. Theres awlays bugs? But there was never a huge problem.
commenting on things, without knowing the facts, is another problem offline in the world also. It happens in Sports and even governments.
lol before I go and play catch, one more thing. I know I to got off topic. But please people this Blog is for questions. Don’t waste the persons time, who is reviewing it for questions to ask Titan and the rest working on Fat Princess. I asked all I think I wanted to, but there has to be more questions.
Well, the game was delayed and there was probably good reason for it. Now my questions and wish list about the games. 1/Will there be a map editor? Maybe a random map generator? 2/The game looks quite messy in the heat of action… will it be possible to hide or be stealthy? I’m just concerned strategy will be limited to “run to the princess and bash to your heart’s content” 3/How many game modes will there be?
@447, There lots more stratgey and depth than what you said. Have you been following it?, Its depends on your what class you are. If u want to be stealthy as far as I know just go around the sides of the map, the main stream fighting will be on the roads since you run faster on them and theres always new stratgeys being formed, Hopefully they’ll talk about Operation Eagle drop and Operation KFC XD. Chris told me they never had a release date, meaning there was never a delay. Rumours get bad sometimes. There might’ve been something small. But not Huge enough to cause the a big delay.
But your question is a good one still, and probly something like that will be asked and answered. lol sorry for replying when you didn’t ask me XD, But you made it so blad sounding when people who played know it isn’t.

Just tell us about your game. Important info like, the release date, will you support your game with dlc within the first year or maybe incentives for other PS3 products such as beta testing available for Qore Subscribers?
Please let us know what’s going on, instead of wasting our time having to ask you questions about your game.
