Greetings PS Blog Fans,
First off, we want to thank all of you for playing and supporting Fat Princess with all of your suggestions and responses on the boards. You have given us a ton of very valuable information which has helped us to track down the majority of the connection issues.
We’re happy to announce that we’re releasing a patch late tonight, Friday August 7, to help fix some of these connection issues. This will be released for N. America region, with patches for Europe and Asia to follow as soon as possible.
We’re also going to be tweaking some of the point balances and classes based on fan feedback. Several of you have also been asking about the player ranks. Here’s an explanation:
Rankings are awarded as you accrue the following points:
- Squire – 500-599
- Private – 600-699
- Corporal – 700-799
- Sergeant – 800-899
- Ensign – 900-999
- Lieutenant – 1000-1249
- Captain – 1250-1499
- General – 1500-1749
- Warlord – 1750-1999
- Sir (Dame) – 2000-2249
- Baron (Baroness) – 2250-2499
- Earl (Countess) -2500-2999
- Duke (Duchess) – 3000-3499
- Lord (Lady) – 3500-3999
- Prince (Princess) – 4000-4499
- King (Queen) – 4500+
Please keep pinging us and posting to the Fat Princess forum on PS.com with your suggestions and ideas. We mean it when we say that we’re really glad to have such a great fan base.
After the patch goes live, we’ll be jumping into some games with all of you to see how things are going and continue to address any major issues that crop up. For detailed information from the development team, check out Titan Studios.

Other than having to try a few times to get into an online game, Fat Princess absolutely rocks.
The game is so good for only 15 bucks.

Glad that was so soon, now I can but the game, I was going to until I heard about the bugs but now its an absolute buy!
given the cold shoulder yet again! nice thanks. love this game, was obsessed while it was still in production – you probably could have saved money on advertising for UK cause everyone i saw i told them about Fat Princess. but wheres the love (for Europe)? its not fair that once again the focus goes on N.America and so they can play loads more games than us before we’ve even got the patch!

Didn’t know a fix would be here so soon. The developer support from Titan is just as good as the game, really. Best addition to PSN in a long time.
The patch is much faster….kicking you back to the main menu.
I just tried four straight times with no luck. It’s a fantastic game but it didn’t work in the beta, it didn’t work at launch and it doesn’t work now.
This is an online only game with poor bot AI, please fix this.

get music for the game please a a lot of us want it after a few minutes it gets annoying hearing the same narrator saying the same stuff please allowed music in the future and as soon as possible

THANK YOU… I knew we could count on you guys :)… now all you need to do is allow us to search threw the servers rather an immediate match up. That and provide more upgrades for the classes ;)!

This is very good news, I haven’t been able to get into a single game in the past 2 days.
I purchased this for $30 NZ on launch and still haven’t had a decent go online. Seems a nice enough game but now our territory has to wait until next week before we get the patch?
I really hope this patch works some magic because atm it is EXACTLY like playing playing pre QW Quake on a 56k modem with no client prediction over 10 years ago. Doors open literally 2-3 seconds after you’ve already walked through them.
I look forward to hopefully being able to play this.
Very cool, although I haven’t played online yet on account of the crappy internet I have right now I didn’t experience and of the issues I heard about.
Can’t wait to try it out at the end of this weekend though.

Here are a few suggestions:
1. A custom map creator.
2. More maps. (if a custom map creator is not available)
3. More classes and unlockables. (through free or paid DLC.)
4. More class updates.
5. Custom sound track.
6. The ability to record matches, and upload it to youtube or just save it to the ps3 hdd. Of course, the video would have to be standard avi, so we could upload it to any video website.
Actually, not sure if it’s been reported or it’s part of the lag but the catapult doesn’t always work =(

You fools are easily impressed and satisfied. Nothing has been remedied. The game is still broken. Do not praise lazy, noob developers for selling broken, defective products. Fix the game, stop wasting resources posting lies.

i recently had to restore my ps3 hard drive and all my online stuff was gone.
I got the patch and the game still dosent work, I love the game but it’s only worked three f&”)ing times plz help me. I need more chubs!
