i just wish there was more demos so that i’ll know what i’m buying and trust me i do buy lots of stuff on PSN but keep it sony you are doing good.
@MrBeatdown, for one the Wet demo is only available in the UK, not even in other European stores, same goes for Dirt 2. I don’t know “why” SCEE forces publishers to release demos in all stores at the same time or why SCE doesn’t just open an universal store. Most European countries have the very same amount of demos as America. And Gamescom? Pretty obvious Europe gets the trailers since its held in Europe. We didn’t get the E3 trailers in the European store as far as I can remember and besides, most trailers are the same as shown on the E3.
Oh and the Call of Juarez demo I wouldn’t recommend. I doubted to get the game but now I know for sure its off my wanted list. The demo is full of screen tearings and jaggies, which really shows on my Sony Bravia LCD TV :r
Oh and we may be lucky to receive 1 classic in 3 months, that’s why I download them from the US store :)
Europe didn’t get a Dirt 2 demo, the UK did, and only them…

For all that complain that US PSN store didn’t update on demos like Dirt2 and Wet just do a simple thing….. do a Europe PSN account with the UK!!!!!
Go to YouTube and see how it’s done, it’s simple, hassle free and you can download all that free stuff with no problem. That’s how friends of mine do it. and best of all you are not doing nothing wrong doing it, besides the Asian players do it to our US PSN Store and Europe players do it to both regions. Let all share!!!!

What happened prior to the maintainence thing i was able to download movies on my psp! Help!!
I think most people are complaining because there really isn’t that many good games on the Playstation Store. I mean it’s going on 3 years and there really is hardly anything to choose from in fact I went there and counted out of all the PS3 games to choose from which they have 111 up on the store. Maybe and that’s a BIG maybe 10 titles of the PS3 games. I mean is there really a market for gamers who are just dying to play SUPER RUB A DUB? Out of the 10 games that I said are actual good games 3 of the are fighters MKII Tekken Marvel Vs Capcom2. Compare that to Xbox live with games like Shadow Complex and Secret to Monkey Island. And out of the 10 games most of them cost almost as much as a brand new PS3 title from Gamestop. I’ll buy it used thanks.

Also almost every so called PS3 title on the Play Store half of them are shooters can’t Sony come up with something a little different not everybody LOVES shooter games. Here is a list of all the FLIPPING SHOOTERS:
1942,Astro Tripper,1943,Blast Factor, CellFactor,crash commando, everyday shooter, novastrike, nucleus, the punisher, soldner-x, super stardust, commando 3. They’re pretty much the same exact game with a different name. Then the tower defense games same exact thing but there is like 4 of them on the P store. The rest are either fighters, racers, or puzzle games. Nothing really orignal.
cont…But thank GOD Sony locked down The Watchmen The End Is Nigh Part 1 & 2. Ok but we do have Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil even though Japan has had RE 2 & 3 for over a year now. So I think that’s why a lot of PS3 users are complaining. Not me though I wouldn’t dare complain that we’ve hardly getting any games on the PStore even though we were told that since Sony has a huge library to pull from that we would have tons and tons of games to play on the PSN. I also heard a nasty rumor that Sony is possibly going to charge us to use the PSN like Xbox Live. I also would like everyone to know that Xbox owners get the exclusive DLC for CODMW2(CALL OF DUTY MODERN WARFARE 2).Also where is the PS2 games for the PStore. If you have a PS3 that’s not backwards compatible does that mean it also won’t play games in digital format that’s a PS2 title? Because I thought it can’t play PS2 discs.
Look I just wish we had something new and original. I know we just got Fat Princess (and it’s a fun and original title) but look how long it took to finally get that and there very few and far between. My only beef with Sony is this. We spent a lot of money on their system because of all the selling points. PS3 games, Blu-Ray, Free online gaming(which MIGHT be ending), the PStore. A lot of cool features. But the main reason is for GAMES. I want them to start focusing more on the gamers and less on the ins and outs of the system. I want a more diverse choice of games on the PStore. Not the same game with a different name. Original games. And more DLC for the games we buy. Instead of getting shafted over and over. Show us the people who supported the system that we are worth the exclusive DLC. You guys can get angry and disagree but this is how I feel. And I’m not the only one. Oh and SCREW Bethesda!!

I hope by the time the Psp Go! comes out, they will have a decent range on digital versions of UMD’s by October 1st cause right now, 53 ain’t enough and not a lot of them I like.

2.RPG Games
3.Strategy
4.Action Adventure
Those genres lack a lot in the PSN store for Psp and most of the game’s in UMD legacy are puzzle games. :(

It’s almost 9pm on the west coast and still no store update for the PSP. For a company that is hyping downloading games for the new PSP Go they sure aren’t building any confidence with the low number of and lousy game selections for the PSP in the PSN store. Because of seemingly ongoing trend of catering more to PS3 users and less to the PSP I think maybe Ill shelve my PSP and just stick to my iPod/iTunes.
it better be a good one for it to take this long to update and stuff. i hope more psp stuff comes out. That why i might wait a month to buy the psp go! i dont want to waste my money on that. They need to put more RPG games for psp like god of war chains of olympus.
Catering to the PS3? It’s now Friday over here on the East Coast with no update… I don’t call that catering.
I say the Playstation store caters more to PS3 users because of past updates. There are usually far more updates for PS3 than PSP. Since I’m on the “go” a lot, a PS3 does me no good so I rely on my PSP for a lot of my gaming. So Sony! Where the heck is our store update? and since it’s late it had better be good! A lack of new content can kill popularity of ANY system real quick!
Its almost 2 in the morning, and no update still. I’ve learned my lesson with SONY! No more sports game on this system, because they’re late on everything. Yesterday I had to buy microsoft points just to play 2K10 Combine. Now I gotta listen to my friends clown me for buying Fight Night 4 on PS3, while they play an updated version of he game for hours now… smh… 2nd PS3 fail this week…smh…
What I did was go to the Europe Playstation Store and got WET, DiRT 2 and FEAR 2 REBORNE from them. Wet is killer same with DiRT 2. !!!!!

Ah. Well, not everyone uses or likes Twitter Would it have been too hard to make a blog post saying that? Had I known that they were acknowledging it, I would have stayed quiet.
Agreed, should’ve at least been a post on the blog as well. But the outcry is really baffling to me.
Wow! How is it baffling? Its business, its not like they’re giving these systems away. What is baffling is that I’m going to have to buy yet another game for a different system, that I already have for the PS3, just so I can fully enjoy it. What is baffling is that a “Leader” like SONY is always playing cath-up… What is baffling is that I’m a SONY guy, typing from a SONY laptop, hooked up to my SONY cameras, with SONY memory cards, and headphones plugged in. Most of my TV’s hanging on my walls are SONY. Even had a SONY cellphone at one point. Plus I’ve purchased all their gaming systems, and I’m in line to buy the new GO. And after all that, the only thing these “hick-ups” are telling me is, “Hey we don’t want your business!”, and thats baffling…
Yes, people continued whining baffles me. You chose to support the company by buying their products and services. They miss their weekly publish by less than 24 hours, and instantly they don’t want your business. It’s like you believe they wanted to slight you personally by holding back a full game and four demos for a few hours. My god, the world’s going to end! Time for a reality check and perhaps a readjustment of your value system. Or, you know…buy another brand.
