    a good week overall. i cant hardly wait for the firmware update 3.0 to be released this tuesday. btw, jeff are there any hidden tidbits that could be releaved before the firmware hits?

    I’ll be there Jeff. Please tell me you’ll have Gran Turismo for PSP running on the new PSP Go for all of us attending to try out in addition to MAG!

      Coffee and donuts: yes. GT PSP doesn\’t fit the theme. I believe we\’ll have some PSPgo units on the show floor, however.

    Hey Jeff, did you guys record a God of War III interview at Gamescom?

    There isn’t too much going around with GoW3 lately, than just few pictures from Gamescom. :'(

    Why not tell the Development team to create another in-game engine footage?

    Hey Jeff thanks for the update! I have a question though on the status of the ps store e-mailing issue I told you about last week. Any fix yet? Btw, this problem can happen with any e-mailing service; msn/live hotmail, gmail, or yahoo. Thanks Jeff!

    Hey Jeff any word on a shadow of the collosus remake or download for the ps3 that game was to good to be limited to just one console also I’m really looking forward to the update trophies are my life helping me rubbing it in peoples face is the greatest thing that Sony could have ever done thanks Sony

      Well, the problem is with Ad Blocker. We put in some extra lines of code on the embed that *should* fix it for most people, but that\’s where the incompatibility lies.

    good week! I Finally played Uncharted 2, GoW3, and Ratchet and Clank! I went to FanExpo in Toronto and all the demos there were AMAZING! (I even got some swag too :p). it was a shame that you guys weren’t there though. I even saw some new ps3s, but no pspgo. it was amazing! now i REALLY cant wait for Uncharted 2.

    I’d like to see more news on the weekend, news like Playstation Home or About the Motion Controller cause the Playstation Recap and the Playstation around the web what we read as being the only thing on the blog on the weekend is lame and boring. I’d like to see more news about games and coming soon programs for the PS3 on the weekend

    @16 It seems the problem lies with AdBlock Plus I just disabled it for the PSBlog page only and now the videos work fine.

    Jeff, do you remember the MotorStorm: Pacific Rift photo competition that was posted here on the blog back in mid-march? Well, I was ‘fortunate’ to be one of the twenty North American winners. Evolution Studios stated that “Winners will be notified via email within 28 days of the competition Closing Date and must respond within 28 days of receiving the notification to claim their prize.” Well the winners were announced May 18, and still nobody has been contacted or received their prize(s). Can you help do something about this? I’ve been posting on their forums, but this has done virtually nothing. I’ve tried to be patient with this competition, but with over 3 months of no contact or prizes, it’s hard to be patient or ever respect the developers anymore.

    Also, what’s with the new PS3 game boxes? They’re SO ugly!

    regarding 3.0, I think it should release with a few new avatars. Eric Lempel said in a interview, that new avatars wont hit with 3.0 but at a later date.

    This news come as disappointing. Theres people out there that are most looking forward to the new avatars out of anything else on 3.0 (which shows the sad state of the current poor selection) that will be dissapointed come tuesday.

    You got a lot of criticism for releasing the trophy patch with only one game supporting it at launch. The same thing will happen after announcing 3.0 has new themes and avatars that wont come till October.

    Just hover over the player and click the little “block” tab that pops up. Towards the top change “blocking filter” to “exception rule”, and you will never have to worry about this anymore

    I suggest recommending this method to people who continue to post about the player flickering for them.

    With the current evolution of the PSN… I hope we will soon be able to use the Digital Vouchers that come with Blu-Ray movie to redeem them into MediaGo so we are able to watch them in our PSPs

    Its good to see that PlayStation reads the stories I do in the media.

    @Jeff:
    I have an email issue and I was told you may be able to help. The problem is that, I used to receive emails from Playstation such as the weekly newsletter and beta invitations, but now for a few months I haven’t received anything. The problem actually started after changing my email address. My old email addresses account was deleted so I had to change my email address on my PSN and PSU account to my new email addresses. I have ensured that I did change my email address correctly (spelling ect.) and I have also ensured that Playstation messages are not being filtered as junk, however I still do not receive the emails. The email service provider for my PSN account is Gmail and the email service provider for my PSU account is Rogers (My ISP). Can you (or somebody else) help me solve this problem? I already contacted support via email and phone but both were no help to me. I also want to subscribe to Qore but I am afraid too because I might miss an important email regarding Qore benefits.

    Any idea if Soul Calibur: BD is going to be available digitally on the PSN? I really want to get it, but I’m hooked on digital d/l PSP titles, so I doubt I’ll pick up the UMD. I imagine a high-profile PSP title like this will be on the network considering the PSP Go is coming soon, but a little confirmation on its downloadable status would be nice… :) Thanks.

    Do you honestly think that by being in the entertainment business Jeff (and the rest of PSBlog) isn’t entitled to a five-day work-week like everyone else? Don’t be so self-centered. Honestly, I’d find it hilarious if on Thursday they made a post saying “Pscoolman, in his infinite wisdom, has insisted that we work on weekends, so we’ve taken those pesky Store Updates and shoved them back to a time that works better for him: Saturdays! Let the lynching begin!” I think I’d actually pay to see that. XD
