UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves has officially gone gold in North America! That means only 32 days until it hits store shelves. I couldn’t be more proud of the teams at Naughty Dog and Sony who have put their lives on hold to make a truly exceptional game.
If you can’t wait until October 13th, SCEA and Sony Electronics have partnered to produce four exclusive “sneak peek” events that bring UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves to the big screen before launch. At these VIP events, attendees will join Naughty Dog in a night of food, fun and Multiplayer tournaments with the chance to win lots of cool prizes—including the Fortune Hunter Edition. Attendees will also have the chance to play UNCHARTED 2 on the ultimate high definition big screen, powered by Sony Electronics 4K digital cinema technology, which provides image resolution four times greater than any high-definition consumer television out there. Sony Electronics is working with major theaters across the country to create “digital destinations”, pairing 4K digital cinema technology with enhanced services and amenities, such as food, sporting events and music, to create an unprecented entertainment experience. UNCHARTED 2 will be one of the first pre-released games showcased at select sites.

I love Uncharted. I can not wait for the Beta to start up. It will be great. I will probably buy the game the day it comes out. If you have not heard, there will be an Uncharted 2 beta open to everyone who has a PSN account. It starts 9/29 and may end 10/13. It could even go past that. It will have the two game modes and maps from the original Beta plus two new maps, two new game modes, and new features. If you have not heard, there will also be a limited edition Uncharted 2 that you can not buy. You can only win it. Check it out. It looks great.

Hey there will not be offline co-op. Sorry but online co-op is still amazing. Also there will most likely be DLC. If you heard about the limited edition Uncharted 2, it says it comes with a bundle of downloadable extras. This most likely means multiplayer map packs and such.

The Beta is uncomparable, congrats. Now, tell me what it takes to win the Fortune Hunters Edition. I will go without sleep until I do, I have truly never wanted a PS3 game this badly. I must not fail!!!

Im really excited to get my hands uncharted 2! The Fortune Hunter Edition looks really cool, but with so many people competing for them, and with so few made, I fear ill never get one!!

i Got mine preordered but would do just about anything for the Fortune Hunters Edition.
I primarily game on the xbox360, but I’ve been on my ps3 since the demo. I loved the 1st game and even though I beat it before trophy support I’m doing it again. I’ve been in both Ucharted2 mp demos and have this game ordered at BB and GS and I’d preorder a 3rd if the Fortune Hunter Edition would be sold. I would’ve payed money for the 1st mp beta….words can’t express how great the current demo is! Amazing job, well done Naughty Dog! I don’t know what I must do but you name it and I’ll do it 4 that Fortune Hunters Edition! I see my xbox360 getting very lonely and dusty now…I didn’t think anything could pull me off Gears of War 2…I’m a legit lv100 Veteran Gear 2!

So its only a week to go and U2 is averaging 97 on metacritic based on 40 odd reviews 17 of which are perfect scores. Evan has said that a few more perfect score are due out soon.
The game footage so far is graphically outstanding, just need to get my hands to it to confirm that everything else is up to scratch.
Well done Naughty Dog. Hopefully the game engine is stable enough now, to turn your attention to a little bit of Jak and Daxter, for old times sake.
