  • WOW! Awesome update!

  • No Trine again :(

… i don’t want wait this title anymore, this week is the last chance for me,. i just give up..

  • Meh you guys complain too much if trine is that much a big deal go buy it from Euro, everyone fails to realize that each month they save their megaton update for a good moment, if trine gets released on it’s own you’ll complain that y it’s the only game available tu play, sometimes people you guys makes urself look like asses, bottom line is, when Qore usually gets released that’s when they release their megaton update

  • Nice. Several demo’s to try.

But, I sure would like to know where the avatars and themes are.

  • @2, Nobilis is the PUBLISHER for chrissakes and they have about 4 of them, each for a different platform. Screw the publisher it’s Frozenbyte whose getting the shaft on this delay. You people really need to research your words before you put them out there. Just like everyone saying it was the developer and not Sony who was holding it back which was definitely not true as an article linked from Bluesnews stated the devs finished it long ago and it was at cert with Sony. So, in other words, it’s up to SONY!

  • The Broken Steel DLC alone would have made this update awesome… but this week really goes above and beyond. Lots of nice little demo surprises in there!

Excellent work this week -and in general- please keep it up!

Oh, and localize FFVIII on the psn as soon as possible! :D

  • yes lost planet 2

  • wow! one of the best updates yet!

  • b000 no FF8, maybe in a month *sigh*

  • nice update, broken steel at last

  • for those waiting for trine, i say hold fast. picked it up from the EU store yesterday and could not be happier. well worth the extra it cost me. should be worth your extra wait time. one note, i broke the game and have to start over. where were the testers for this game? maybe i should do the game testing for scea since i have a knack for finding these kinds of bugs…..

  • Yeow. There’s an upload for you, at least for the PSP.

PS3 has a few interesting things, but where are the PSOne games? Aren’t there enough classic PSOne games to at least throw out one title?

Again, kudos on the PSP upload. Now if we can have a few dozen more third party games (in addition to the first party wave said to be next week), more demos, and more exclusives, the PSP might have a reason to come out of the slump it is in.

As for the PS3, well… why not some classic games along the same lines that Microsoft and Nintendo are throwing out on their respective systems? A little classic gaming wouldn’t hurt.

Now if only next week will come soon. Motorstorm…

  • Tear no avatars yet.. anyways great update!!

  • Wow nice, more free Batman AA DLC! :) Thanks!

  • Good thing we can have premium avatars . . . oh wait.

    Otherwise great update!

  • People whining every single week regardless of what we get = FAIL.

Sorry, I just couldnt help it.

Nice update.. Fallout 3, here I come!

  • @52

    No…no you’re wrong.

When Trine is released I won’t give a crap about what else releases that day, I’ll buy it instantly and be thankful this excruciating wait for the game is finally over.

  • Great update guys!!! :D

  • The update isn’t bad but seriously Sony, why are these avatars taking forever to get into our hands? They are like what? 500x500px squares…..

I for one will give you a small tip. If your going to release a feature in the future, ensure you have a good amount of content that goes with that feature so the community can actually ENJOY the work you have labored over.

I feel like a fat kid at dinner that lacks a fork….when asked “when do I get the fork”….I’m told soon. Weeks turn to months and now I’m a skinny unhappy emo kid :D

  • What’s thus about you must have product code of BLUS-30185 for the fallout dlc??? Someone explain!

  • Downloading Broken Steel right now, so I’m happy for the moment. I still can’t get my MAG beta updates though, last time I tried I got 2 hours in before PSN disconnected. I just don’t have all that time to waste on failure.

  • TRINE

  • Now this is an Update!

    Bravo!! Braavo!!!

A pat on the bak & a slap on the arse

  • This update sucks. What a s**tload of f**k.

No PS1 Classics this week? Wow, SECA, you really show your customers how pathetic you really are.

  • Is Trine even good? At first it was hyped up as an RPG but we now know it is far from one. Plus it seems to be multi-player reliant. I’m really not feeling it.

  • Fantastic update! And finally price drop on some Guitar Hero tracks. At this point GH3 tracks should be free.

  • Wow, some people just can not be pleased at all. Was hoping for a nice PS1 title but oh well.

As for broken steel, I would buy but I’m still on the side lines if I really want to give my money to a company like Bethesda who treated their PS3 fans like crap.

Can’t wait for sigma 2 next week.

  • Capcom wake up and give us RE2 and 3 Soon!

Otherwise good update, definetly going to look forward to a different kind of zombie slaying apocalypse style!

  • how about uncharted 2 demo when is that coming ?

  • Weak update… what a joke!

  • Awesome!! Awesome!! Awesome!! Downloading Broken Steel as I type this and can’t wait to get into some Zombie Apocalypse action…

    Great update thx guys!

  • W-O-W! Awesome update this week, SONY!

    :-D

  • Where is the world Is TRINE????

    Please

  • whats with all this sony bashing and whining by these sad pathetic entitled pissants. don’t you whiny babies have games to play or friends to message. SHUT UP, seriously! or, sell your ps3’s and delete your psn and psblog accounts. sony owes you nothing and has not the need to expalin themselves to you whiny morons. i feel pity for the people in your everyday lives if this is how you react to every little things that doesn’t go the way you want it to, its called life and thats how things tend to happen. i am sure sony is as tired of it as i and others here are. next gen, i hope you must pass written and mental tests before purchasing consoles, weed out the babies and whiners and expectant entitlists.

  • @74

    http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/pc/trine?q=trine

Been getting some damn good reviews and from what I’ve read from all the lucky people in Europe or those who played it on PC, the answer is Yes. Trine is a good game.

  • + Fallout 3 dlc, finally
+ Lots of demos, for psn and disc based
    + Price drops

    – No Trine, what’s the delay?
    – EA needs to change their slogan from “its in the game” to “don’t you want to download some expensive add-ons”

All in all a good update. I don’t care about avatars, but you should deliver. I wish you’d give us some release dates, you’ve given us a date for critter crunch so that better not be delayed.

  • nice update :)

  • Wait, so… is Power Stone Collection $14.99 or $19.99? The blog says one thing and the store says another…

  • Great. So, not only are there no avatars, but there’s no Resident Evil 2, Trine, or Dino Crisis.
    Great job Sony. Great job.

  • yea thats what i thought. psp go releases next week and not even 100 psp games? step ya game up sony. but what we have is nice today.

  • @74, i have the ps3 version, and yes its worth it. not really multiplayer reliant as you seem to think as i’ve been playing it by myself. it does hint of rpg elements, but not beyond collecting xp and leveling up. btw, it is AWESOME.

  • Guys here’s a story for Sunday on What We Read.

    http://www.n4g.com/events_tgs2009/News-400070.aspx

    lol

  • Although the Power Stone Collection is cool, I am STILL waiting for Mega Man: Powered Up. PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE have this in the next update.

  • very good update and finally some psp games to go with the go just need crisis core and chains of olympus on that priority list for the psn… but im still disapointed due to the fact japan gets ffviii

  • Good update, lots of demos to try out…the jpn store got Final Fantasy 8, is the US getting it??? really hope so.

PSN wish list: Trine, Final Fantasy 8/9 and Avatars plz!

  • Nice little update (being a PSP owner) Def gonna pick up Midnight Club & the C&C game (The Nature Boy! haha).

Man, next week’s update is going to be huge. I just know Sony is going to drop the ball when it comes to content for the PSPGo (No UMD solution, nothing near 100+ games to downaload and still no new ‘classic’ PSOne games) and the complaining on here is going to be epic! I already got a big bag of popcorn in anticipation! I can’t wait!!

  • Nice, all great demos + decent zombie game + fallout and batman add-ons = great update. Yea, many will and should complain about trine, but good update guys, the demos section should always look like that.

Once again, i always complain but good update this time!

  • @89
I see, maybe the gameplay videos aren’t doing it justice. I’ll try and find a good recent article or two and readup on it.

    @People waiting on RE2
Giving the span of time between Alpha 1 & 2’s release, I wouldn’t expect to see RE2 until 2010. :p

  • Why is the blog polluted with so many whiners?

My only wish is that we could download the girlfriend PS3 commercial with all the candle talk. I think that one’s the funniest out of the three we’ve seen so far.

  • Hooray for Broken Steel! Finally you pushovers from Bethesda…
