We’ve been telling you about the UNCHARTED 2 cinema events for a while now, but now that they’re quickly approaching, we wanted to remind you that tickets are still available for the Tuesday, October 6 events taking place in San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, and Los Angeles. We know we’ve also been lean on event details, so here’s some more information for those of you interested in attending.
- Naughty Dog will be there to unveil a never-before-seen single-player level on the big screen.
- Following that, select attendees will participate in an on-site multiplayer tournament that gives you the chance to win cool prizes, including the very coveted Fortune Hunter Edition.
- Event also includes gift bags & raffle entry that for a chance to win lots of great prizes, from games to even more Fortune Hunter Editions.

This a an excellent idea! I’m sure it will be a blast.
This is actually really sad. You only have 4 locations, none on the east coast… and you’re giving out Fortune Hunter Editions. You’re cutting out so many people from having a chance to get this very limited item.
Also, the details on how to win them were supposed to be revealed on September 15th at the start of the Gamestop beta. Even now that it’s open to the public, there are still no details. This makes me very sad:(… But I’m still buying your game.

i was told by YOU Asad that if i stick around in the Blog that we would have a chance to win a FHE. i stay on only to have the comments disabled for no reason. and until now no way to win on the blog was announced.
i don’t go on HOME so that is ruled out.

I am going to the event on Monday in Chicago. I have a couple questions.
Who from the Naughty Dog team are showing up to that one?
I put a friends name on the guest spot, but his name is not on the ticket. Is he still able to go?
And the tourney on the Monday everyone is eligible right? I see for Tuesday there are 2 tickets 1 for players and 1 for viewers. That option wasn’t available for Monday people like myself.
Sorry would love to come, but i have kids and they come first.

I thought the event was free for both Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday is now $15.
I already have tix for Monday’s event though, and they were free.
If you can, please answer this question: Will the Oct.6 events have all the same things as the Oct.5 events? Will there be food/beverages? Tournaments and prizes? Giveaways? A chance to meet folks from Naughty Dog? Or are we getting a gimped version of Mondays’ “Private” Event?

Thanks for the clarification, but from how I read it, there will only be 50 people, plus 1 gues per each (100 max), at the Monday event.
I didn’t realize that the event on Monday was a VIP-by invite only event.

Don’t be so pathetic. You’re confusing international human relations with international legal policy and being incredibly dramatic about it. If the whole world worked on the same corporate, national and linguistic ground, keeping everything even would be a whole lot easier. Do you honestly think they kept the video store out of Canada because they hate them? Do you think they didn’t set anything up on the East Coast because they hate them? Do you HONESTLY BELIEVE that they are INTENTIONALLY angering people for the mere sake of it? What would be the point? They are a COMPANY- they want money, and having goals such as “piss X group off” isn’t really conducive to the former.

Sony, I really think it would be great if you guys just posted their videos once in a while under the “playstation conversation” list.
These guys made the ever so popular 1UP show on 1up.com Then they were fired when the website was bought out. Now they are just getting by with their new company/show that they started.
It would be really nice if you guys gave them the exposure that they rightfully deserve, like you guys do with all of these other sites. You offer a variety of sources for our gaming news under the “playstation conversation” and I think I speak for many that we would really like to see those guys be successful again for their excellent, excellent work that they produce.
All they need is people to hit the “Digg It” button!
