Hold on to your seats, Home-people, because I have some news that is going to blow you away. To start, EA SPORTS has brought the NFL into PlayStation Home. That’s right – you’ll now be able to represent your favorite franchises (Go Steelers!) by sporting your favorite team’s jersey while in-world. These jerseys are now available in the EA Sports Complex (and the Home Mall) and cover every team in the entire league (32 jerseys total). With v1.3 now live on your PlayStation 3s and sporting universal game launching functionality, PlayStation Home has truly become the destination for all of you football fans. Log in, toss on your favorite jersey to let your fellow man knows what’s up, launch into online co-op games of Madden NFL 10, and then return to Home to do it again and again. Never before has finding a friend to sack the ‘back with been easier. Bring the wood!
You’ve all been waiting since last Thursday’s v1.3 core client update for the highly-anticipated camera item, and that’s why we’re happy to announce that every one of you devoted PlayStation Home community members will now have a free camera. You heard me – free! This camera will automatically appear in your inventory today and will allow you to take photos from the 1st and 3rd person perspective. Any pictures you take will immediately be saved to the “Photo” section of your XMB where you can then share these photos both in-world and out, whether it is in the Picture Frames that decorate your personal spaces or on Flickr, Twitpic, or Photobucket accounts.
You’ll also find two new spaces have been released in PlayStation Home today– the PixelJunk Museum and the MotorStorm Monument Valley Campsite. The PixelJunk Museum is a sleekly designed public area dedicated to the PixelJunk series where you can explore and collect content related to the PixelJunk Eden, PixelJunk Racers, PixelJunk Monsters and PixelJunk Shooter titles. The MotorStorm Monument Valley Campsite is a mesa-top personal space with its own MotorStorm caravan and an amazing vista of the MotorStorm festival across the Valley. There’s also a ton of MotorStorm-themed furniture available to customize this exclusive hideaway. Check out the pics below.

I think it would be cool if there was a playstation home area that would act as the PSN store. so your avatar could walk around this online store, look at game covers, (front and back) and be able to buy them. since alot of games are becoming digital, i think this would let us keep the in store game shopping experience as we know and love.

All of this new content is cool, but what about a patch? Is there a patch going to be released soon. Deleting and reinstalling is not solving all the errors that still occurs on Home.
you know, all this stuff for home sounds cool, i haven’t seen any of it yet. my ps3 just freazes every time i try to get into home. when are you going to send out a patch to fix this.

All right then, now I know where I will be shopping next Thursday. Thanks for the clarification L_S I would have been very disappointed to get home and not find any of these items in the stores.

You might want to fix the freezing issues with logging into Home before adding more stuff.

Yeah like everybody else i too had a problem signing into HOME. But then i just deleted HOME and reinstalled it and it works. I do like the idea of NFL jerseys and Deathlok, are they player jerseys or just 00 jerseys?
To everyone who’s Home crashing their PS3 when they try to login: just delete and re-download Home. Worked like a charm on my 60GB 3.01 FW.

This new stuff would be awesome if I was actually able to get into Home. I have FW 3.01 and just updated Home to 1.3 and it freezes at initializing every time I try to log in. Off-subject, but inFamous freezes constantly since 3.01 so I can’t even play it any more. FIX THESE PROBLEMS!
IF HOME FREEZES DURING START UP FOR YOU: I’m pretty sure it’s just the Harbor Studio apartment. Delete that file file from the Save Data utility on the XMB. It will reset you decorations, but you’ll be able to log in. You should be able to change it back, but don’t log out while in the apartment. So when you log back in it won’t start you back there and it won’t freeze up. You can still visit there, just don’t log out from there. Anyway, this has worked for me, hopefully it will for everyone else too.

i have a psp one of the umd series i would love to get a psp go but if i trade in my umd psp i can’t play my games and not just the old games but the ones i just got this summer Dissidia: Final Fantasy,Monster Hunter Freedom Unite,SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny & Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce. it seems as if sony really whats the psp to fell. the only way i’ll get a psp go is if i can tradeup to one, but not at the expense of losing my favorite new games:(

Are you guys ever going to do anything about the atrocious character models and animation in Home? They look like they were done by a couple of twelve-year-old kids at summer camp. Seriously, how does that happen when some of the best looking games of this generation were developed at Sony studios?

Should have realized they wouldnt do anything until sometime on Thursday.Maybe thats a bad idea as the updates all at once seem to cause the servers problems.Do what MS does and spread it throughout the week as it helps in not crashing the systems and encourages more visits.
