UNCHARTED 2 Demo Ended – More Chances to Win the Fortune Hunter Edition

Hey UNCHARTED fans,

Hope you guys have been enjoying the multiplayer demo these past two weeks. Remember that UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves goes on sale as early as midnight tonight at over 800 GameStop stores (Check here for store locations).

The main reason for this post is that we just got word that the multiplayer demo ended earlier today and unfortunately we won’t be able to get it back up before the game launches. So for those who wanted to get on and play some UNCHARTED 2 multiplayer goodness, you’re going to have to wait a few short hours till the game goes on sale.

I know we had a contest running with a chance to win 10 Fortune Hunter Editions every day Saturday through Monday…so here is what we’re going to do. For Saturday and Sunday we’re going to increase the number of Fortune Hunter Edition prizes from 10 to 20 each day. For Monday, we’re going to honor the contest by drawing 10 winners from all those who logged on this morning.

Chances to win the Fortune Hunter Edition don’t stop there. This weekend, if you own the game and are planning to play online, we’ll be randomly drawing names Friday – Sunday with a total of 30 Fortune Hunter Editions up for grabs. Contest rules to follow. Keep checking back to the Blog for more ways to win the Fortune Hunter Edition.

Sorry for the inconvenience…just a couple more hours left. Hey, if any of you plan to pick up the game at midnight, would love to hear what you think of it.

    Well at least I got to play it during the closed beta. I downloaded the demo on friday and played a little bit sunday morning I think it was so I got my name in there. Cool game. I still need to play the first one.

    Dang… I was going to try again around 11:00. I only got to play one day this weekend.

    And these further chances are to people who have already purchased the game? That doesn’t make very much sense to me.

    I’ll be seeing everyone tomorrow night. With the Buy 2 Get 1 Free deal at ToysRus, my friends and I will be getting three copies of U2 at $43.60 each (after tax!).

    Not only do we get a Game of the Year contender, but we get it at 20 bucks off! I’m very excited.

    no more demo then? that’s really bad, I only had the chance to play it once!

    I guess the demo was only for high school kids that have time to do anything and not for the people with jobs who plays after coming from work; whom by the way are the ones with the cash to buy your games!

    Just a few hours away till launch!
    I will be purchasing this game first thing in the morning when I get to work.
    Me and my Boss will be leaving to go to the Futureshop that’s just around the corner to pick up our copies.
    Unfortunately I won’t be playing it tomorrow but the day after >_<‘
    Like the guy in the latest PlayStation 3 add, my girlfriend wants to watch and she works tomorrow (I also share the same name as the guy in the add…)

    When I got Drakes Fortune I was instantly hooked and loved all the bonuses like the art galleries, making of videos and so on (I hope Uncharted 2 also includes stuff like that)
    I loved the characters, the look, gameplay and how they would randomly communicate while playing.
    My girlfriend was also hooked and wouldn't let me play the game without her over at my place to watch.

    And so again I will have to wait for her to be able to play this game. Its only one extra day but still I can’t wait anymore…

    Anyway great job guys. The game looks amazing and I hope to see many more adventures down the line.
    Uncharted has easily become one of my favourite series along with Metal Gear and Final Fantasy.

    Ugh all i’m doing right now is watching the uncharted 2 reviews and just getting excited till I get my hands on it :) Mostly everyone says its great, I mean if Adam Sessler/Xplay gave it 5/5 I am putting my faith in Naughty Dog that they have made a Masterpiece to be remembered for generations to come. Really Now I’m just thinkin how would ND top Uncharted 2 with Uncharted 3!!! Theres no doubt in my mind that they will if not should make multiple games for this franchise. Who would not want that?…..exactly everybody is gonna be craving another Uncharted right after we finish this one. Asad please make sure you tell Evan and Christophe to schedule the production of another Uncharted right after yall receive your well earned vacations and make sure the ND teams in each department to come with greatness in the future because so far yall have earned a Full-Time loyal customer/s and I will purchase more titles coming from a great hard working company. I really want to thank you, evan, christophe, druckman and everyone else from the Naughty Dog Staff for you hard work,love and dedication you have given to this game for all of us to enjoy. :)

    Wow, I want the Fortune Hunter edition something awful. I wish it was actually for sale. I’d probably pay up to $150 for one at retail. I’m sure there are people who will be selling it on e-bay, but I don’t trust e-bay. :P

    Tham cant get mines at midnight because i gotta take care of my sister and wont be able to play until like 8pm because of school and work. But as soon as i put it in to the ps3 i will be saying goodbye to my life.

    Great demo guys! I was entertained every second of it. I actually got bummed out when i woke up and couldn’t play haha but thats what i get for playing it alot. I actually did decent to i had 735 kills and 400 something deaths. Goodluck to everyone on winning the fortune hunter edition! (Crosses fingers in hope of winning)

    I got a copy of the game from the event Sony/Naughty Dog had in Seattle. Beat the game on Saturday. Working on finding those treasures. The game is definitely a 10 out of 10!

    Now this is badass.

    Thank you guys SO much for doing this. Doubling our chances to win the FHE? That definitely makes up for today’s loss. I might be heading out for the midnight launch to pick it up (as well as Brutal Legend), however, I’ve got a rack of Best Buy Reward Zone certs in my account. I was saving them up for MW2’s Prestige Edition, but I might just use them now…

    uhh man i love the demo specially co op arena wish i could play right now or have money to buy it sucks i never win anything but ill try uhhh dont like all the exclusivity with games its the reason i stopped buying special edition dvd’s cant just buy one version anymore gotta see which is the best damn you dolla bill…(shakes fist pshome style)

    hey ND guys, i would like to ask a really quick questions and i really need an answer t6o this please answer…. in the beta/demo , i noticed that it’s really SOOO slow to get me into a matchmaking game… will the original game disc have this same issue? please dont ignore this question as if u answer i’ll decide wheather to pick Uncharted2 or MAG!

    Well this certainly sucks as I was about to log in for the third day. Great for all the people who have jobs who didn’t stay up late thinking they would get on tomorrow as had been stated everywhere (from the Blog to the cards with the codes). While it’s nice that the amount for Saturday and Sunday was increased, it doesn’t change the fact that those who logged in for Monday have much better odds.
