Hey UNCHARTED fans,
Hope you guys have been enjoying the multiplayer demo these past two weeks. Remember that UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves goes on sale as early as midnight tonight at over 800 GameStop stores (Check here for store locations).
The main reason for this post is that we just got word that the multiplayer demo ended earlier today and unfortunately we won’t be able to get it back up before the game launches. So for those who wanted to get on and play some UNCHARTED 2 multiplayer goodness, you’re going to have to wait a few short hours till the game goes on sale.
I know we had a contest running with a chance to win 10 Fortune Hunter Editions every day Saturday through Monday…so here is what we’re going to do. For Saturday and Sunday we’re going to increase the number of Fortune Hunter Edition prizes from 10 to 20 each day. For Monday, we’re going to honor the contest by drawing 10 winners from all those who logged on this morning.
Chances to win the Fortune Hunter Edition don’t stop there. This weekend, if you own the game and are planning to play online, we’ll be randomly drawing names Friday – Sunday with a total of 30 Fortune Hunter Editions up for grabs. Contest rules to follow. Keep checking back to the Blog for more ways to win the Fortune Hunter Edition.

this game is AMAZING
I downloaded the online beta demo late the other night. Unfortunately with school and work, did not get to try it yet. Oh well! On the bright side, the full version of the game is out. Never have I anticipated the release of a game as I have this one. I can’t wait to go pick it up tomorrow. I know it will be awesome. I will be sure to post my comments on how I like the game.
I saw that the contest was supposed to run until 11:59PM on Monday, but the demo expired at 8:00AM. Kinda’ disappointed about that. I missed my chance completely.
I pre-ordered the game but I may not get it until Friday or Saturday. Maybe even Monday. Sure would love to participate in this chance to win a Fortune Hunter Edition. Lets just hope I get it in time.
That’s all fine and dandy but what about Canadian Residents? I picked up my copy of Uncharted 2 and it’s been nothing short of spectacular so far. I would really love a chance to win the Fortune Hunter Edition… mainly for the Phurba Dagger. Anyway… can we get some good news for your Canadian supporters?
im in the navy and we didnt get it on release date like i thought we would here in japan i guess bc we have lame buyers that should be fired but it will be mines oh yes it will be mines.

uncharted 2 is so amazing.i wish i pre-ordered it because i wanted the 2 golden weapons anyways this game is the best game of 2009 and in 2010 probally god of war 3.uncharted 2 is one of the best games that has ever came out.the graphics are the best graphics ever seen in a game also the online is awesome and amazing.i will get this game by friday.my psn id is coolguy9991,add me.
so no chance for me to have one :( first : i live now in slovakia and no shop here or near by me will have it , second : just yesterday my friend told me that its possible to become this Fortune Hunter Edition just by winning . now i have just that little chance that when i will buy the normal verion , that i will win one Fortune Hunter Edition. hope i will have that luck :)
I got the game on tuesday right after school, and couldnt stop playing! Its soooo incredible! Unbelievable! Sensational!
To bad I cant win the fortune hunter edition because i love in CANADA! WHAT A RIPOFF! no but seriously… what the hell.
P.S. I am addicted to the single player campaign but I am having constant problems with the multiplayer :(. When I die I dont respawn! I just wait, and wait, until I am eventually kicked from the game!!! I had this problem in the beta as well. I can unload 3 clips into a baddie but he wont go down. He then kills me with a few bullets after I have run out of ammo, and I die. But I dont respawn. But apparently I am not dead because I dont respawn and the player that killed me continues to shoot me and attempt to punch me. I continue to wait and all of the sudden I hear the sound that goes off when you defeat a player, and in the corner it says MadPercussion killed so-and-so. But I still do not respawn.
Just finished the campaign earlier today and all I have say is WOW! That was awesome!
This is by far the best game I’ve ever played, no exagerration. Picked it up at 1200 on the dot at Walmart. :)
I picked it up at midnight, played until 6 A.M., slept for 5 hours, played til 6 P.M., went to school, got back at 8:30 P.M., and beat the game at around 10 P.M. It was incredible. I can’t wait for the third one. And the movie. (Hopefully starring one Nathan Fillion.) And any PSP game. Hope I win one of the Fortune Hunter Editions.
Oh and can we PLEASE get a proper Nate action figure, NECA style? PLEEAASE. And Elena, and Sully, and Chloe, and Lazarovich, and… etc., etc., etc.

if i have a region 2 uncharted 2 but a region 1, i mean usa account would i still be able to participate in the lucky draw for the fortune hunter pack :D thanks

Just finished the game. I have to let it really sink in before I can review it though. But i can tell you best game i ever ever played on any Playstation system.
P.S. Naughty Dog is great with picking these very mysterious stories and legendary locations for the Uncharted series. I was just wondering what are the chances of ever doing something with the Lost Colony of Roanoke?

Uncharted 2 has made me love third person shooter’s again, I’ve even promoted this title to many, at first they said, ”awww, I hate TPS games”, but then I said ”me too except for gta4, but this game is the ultimate, Uncharted 2 has opened my eyes to the TPS multiplayer world better than what gta4 has”, so go NAUGHTY DOG DEVS, Rockstar ain’t got nuttin’ on ya! i don’t understand? in order to be entered to win for Friday-Sunday’s Fortune Hunter Edition giveaway i need to have the game?! i was hoping to get a chance to win the FHE before the game was released. the POINT of winning the FHE was so i didn’t have to buy the game in the first place! (for the record, i don’t have the game so its IMPOSSIBLE for me to enter). i a disappointed that you couldn’t come up with another means of winning other than already having the game. why would i wanna win if i have the game? I WANT TO WIN BUT I DON’T HAVE THE GAME! PLEASE GIVE US ANOTHER WAY TO WIN!

Boy, did I love this game. It totally left me wanting more. I absolutely cannot wait for Uncharted 3! Btw, did anybody else experience a major render error during the time you are trying to get Nate and the camera man away from all of the guys shooting at you? I went the wrong way and then suddenly the only thing I could see was this plain blue color. All of the textures, landscapes, buildings, etc were gone except for one wall that was kind of floating. I wonder if I went somewhere the developers weren’t expecting anybody to go?

okay seeing as it’s the 17th and PS and ND are supposed to put up the list of the winners on the 19th (or around there) and i haven’t gotten an email yet it probably means i didn’t win so sad :[ oh well I’ll just have to stick to the original copy this game is awesome no matter what edition you play :D
Well its the 19th, where is the winners list? (I havent gotten a congrats email, so Im just hanging on the last thread of hope that they might do what some other online contests do, release the winners before contacting them)
