Hmm… Yet another uninteresting week for me… At least there’s a lot of PSP games this time around… There’s still so many umd games missing on the psn… So much for my PSP Go.
I’m really looking forward to the Hot Pockets PS3 theme.
Oh and Trine.
Thanks so much for GTA, now the Go is the perfect handheld.
YES ARMORED CORE 3 PORTABLE!
THANK YOU!
Digital Download FTMFW!
Finally Trine is out, but then you go and shaft us by only putting the Uncharted comic on the Video Store.
“The Video St- Video St-”
“Video sandwich?”
“Video Stapler?”
I’m amazed no one’s mentioned the (apparently) digital-only release of Armored Core 3 Portable, and that no mention of this has been made in ANY online media.
I can’t imagine how an Armored Core game will work with only one analog stick (no, this isn’t a dig against the PSP, I could care about dual analog except for a game like THIS) but I’ll be very eager to see some reviews. And the thing’s only $15!
God, lemmings, Crimson Gem Saga, Trine, Half-minute Hero, Hammerin’ Hero. This update could cost me almost a hundred dollars if I don’t find some willpower.
I don’t see the UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves – Eye of Indra 1, is this a U.S only thing?
If you guys want a demo for Trine then download it on Steam.
Where is 3xtreme

Joel from Frozenbyte here – I figured I’d post quickly just to say that we aren’t blaming Sony for the delay on Trine. Sure, they could improve a few things to make the process faster for developers/publishers, and maybe they could’ve pushed the US release of Trine out a week or two earlier, but that wasn’t the point of the post really. I just wanted to help people understand why there have been such long delays in getting Trine to PSN. We made lots of mistakes on our own too and we take the responsibility for that – I think the important thing to remember is that the delays have not been intentional and we’re sorry there was so much confusion and no clear information. It’s been frustrating for us too (we know we’ve lost lots of sales and that’s definitely not what we’d want).
Anyhow, I hope this clears it up a bit. I’m very happy that Trine is finally out, though. We can’t wait to hear what people think. I hope everyone who buys the game really enjoys it too! :)
Off to bed now, it’s 04:00 AM over here now. Everyone have fun!
– Joel, Frozenbyte team, developers of Trine
One of the problems I have with legal digital downloads is that often the pricing structure is out of whack with what brick-and-mortar stores charge. There should be no way a digital download should cost the same or more than physical media, because cutting out the middleman alone should result in some savings. Storing a game on a server has some cost, for sure, but nowhere near as much as paying a factory to make and ship your games.
I’d like to hear Sony’s rationale for charging more for the same game digitally than in a brick-and-mortar store. Politics, perhaps?
Okay update. My question is when is castle crashers, RE 2 & RE 3 coming out?
Woohoo Half-minute hero is fixed!
Buy critter crunch!
How long is the Siren Halloween sale for?
I would really like the option to buy PSN games on PC (No downloading just buying) because sometimes I don’t have access to my PS3 when games go on sale.
Nice update. PSP titles are still overpriced.
I will buy Lumines ps3. Thanks for the price drop.
Um not seeing the Uncharted comic in the store, where is it?
Hot Pockets theme…. as in the edible meals that are always smoldering hot on the outside and still frozen in the middle?… lolol
You guys really need to regulate the time on these updates. We’re already two days behind the competition.
The Beatle Add On content should be listed in it’s own game category as it’s DLC only works for that game and NOT Rock Band.
BTW, what ever happened to Rat Race?
Best update of the past few months. TRINE!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!
Awesome update and people are still complaining, smh. I’m starting to believe this blog is becoming a nest for cry babies.
cool update! going to dl the hot pockets theme ASAP!
SONYUGAIBRO
It’s a good thing you gave us the Hot Pockets theme instead of Resident Evil 2 for Halloween.
Thanks!
What a nice update! I have one question, though – so what’s the deal with any more dynamic themes and new avatars? And when are we going to get a selection of premium avatars to buy?
Awesome!
ALRIGHT! GTA for PSP FTW!
Rock band keeps draining my wallet…
how come media go is missing some games
Hell yeah Raging Blast Demo is out!!!!!!
Hello Grace where is the PSP Go version of NBA 2k10 i Hope you know that they made it for the PSP This yeat
so can you please get it up on the network as NBA 2K10 has been out for 3 weeks now and i want to play it on my PSP Go so do u know if it will be coming to the PSN For download
if so when cuz i want to play it thank you
So much better than last week it ALMOST makes up for the fact there’s no Dissidia.
Nice update. Trine is awesome!
Downloading the big a$$ rachet & Clank demo now.. lol
Was hoping for Final Fantasy VIII but.. maybe next week?
yay!! no more “where’s Trine” complaints!!
that’s an Ok update, I was going to buy the abe games, but at 10 dollars that’s a bit off, for 5.99 I would bite, but I don’t think that those games are in the same league as metal gear or castlevania SOTN. I’m assuming all the good zombie killing games are coming out next week, please have soul reaver released! And release more than two a week. (ps1 games that is).
But at least that’s twice as many as last week.
anyone having problems with the psp beach themes 3 and 4?, they are the same as 1 and 2
No dynamic themes makes this a poor update, however, the R&C ACiT demo makes up for it…
Grace the psp beach themes 3 and 4 are the same as 1 and 2, please correct them, thanks
How hard is it to update the avatars? 1991 called, they need their clipart back.
Oddworld for the win !!!
yay TRINE finally thx! good psp update lovin chinatown wars :)
yay. Half-minute hero and vempire are making my psp go look awesome!
good golly miss molly … i havent heard this much crying since my son was 4 months and thats cause he barely even cried at all !! he was a good baby but man first everybodys crying no Trine wha wha and now its out and your still not happy its to price , waited too long etc. shut up, get the game, play it, and be happy ? ok guy ? sheesh !!
DB Raging Blast is terrible…had high hopes…so disappointed…
Hope ratchet and clank demo is not that way…i’m sure its not…
Hooray for downloadable Riviera and Yggdra Union!! Way to go, Atlus! Also: Yay for Half-Minute Hero! Great update, overall. (Also: finally Trine!)
Great update! And a BIG THANKS to ATLUS!!!! Now if SCEA can get DJ Max Portable Fever and Dissidia up on the store my life will be complete!
NO DISSIDIA!!! Oh you guys made the wrong choice!!!!!!! MY wrath Will continue on!!!!!
okay i’ve quietly suggested it like 3 times now
ANIMATED THEMES! please?
[This post ONLY refers to this week’s PS Store for PSP Update.]
This is the second week in a row that SCEA surprised me with a larger than expected PS Store for PSP update. The PSP section updates for this October has proven to be way better than last October’s updates. And addition to seeing two more PSone Classics additions, it’s also great seeing a downloadable version of Riviera: The Promised Land (which means one less UMD game to track down on Amazon). Thanks for the big update.
