This week’s a short work/school week for most of you, including us at PlayStation. So, as it has gone down the past two Thanksgiving weeks, the PlayStation Store will update on Tuesday this week. So look for a (rather substantial) Store update on the afternoon of the 24th (PST). On Thursday, as we did last year, we’ll be posting the Black Friday Bulletin Board post, where you can share the best PlayStation deals and doorbusters to kick off the Holiday Shopping Season. I can tell you this much – there are some real steals to be had for those of you hoping to knock out the shopping list early this year.
Finally I wanted to give some early “Thanks” to our readers that voted in the Mashable Open Web Awards call for entries – we made it into the final list of nominees for Best Corporate Blog. Now, if you wouldn’t mind casting a final vote for us, we’ll have that much more to be thankful for this week.

Hey Jeff, Any news on the Amazon/PSN joint venture? Will Amazon start to update its list of PSN downloads anytime soon? It had a decent start but lost steam fast and hasn’t been updated in weeks. I kinda liked the idea of being able to buy off amazon for single purchases, since PSN doesn’t like my mastercard and paypal is not an option.
Cannt play ANY videos here on the BLOG with my PS3 please help. After I updated it to 6.20 Windows media player does not work. 6.20 is junk.
Why aren’t we getting any info on the PS3 flash player’s recent downgrade? Flash games still work fine, but all streaming video says that “This application is not supported.” Isn’t there anything you can tell us?
How about reading the rumor that the new Kingdom Hearts won’t be available to download, shutting out all pspgo users? Or your inability to put up a big profile game on the PSN store (LBP) so again, screwing over your PSPGo users (who may i add, paid quite a bit more for the product then the normal PSP users?)… or basically, how the PSPGo support from Sony on the store is just a joke.
@LordFarquaad: if you look at the 1st few comments a reader ask if LPB-PSP would be out thi Tuesday, Professor Playstation(Jeff Rubenstein) replies back “YES”. Suck you had to wait better late then never
yeah eventually, thanks for that note. I would expect in launching a DD only platform they’d have the DD issues fixed and not end up paying for what feels like me being a beta tester for their system. If the rumor about Kingdom Hearts ends up being true, oy…
Can someone at SONY please tell me when Little Big Planet will be available via download for the PSP? My son’s of 9 and 7 years old keep checking the store only to come away sad including me. Sackboy rocks.

keep PSN free. if you want some subscription fee sony, do some sort of gamefly thing. where we can rent the downloadable games one at a time for a monthly fee. dont charge for stuff that should be free please. thats why i like you guys so far.
