k, i gonna sum up everything people are whining about in the comments here and attempt to argue them-
1. Updates should be on Tuesdays-
Are you stupid? I agree that they should be on Tuesdays so that we get stuff before the 360, but then what’s to stop Microsoft from just changing their updates to Mondays? You cant just keep changing dates, idiots. It SHOULD be Wednesday, and theres no reason why it isn’t. Disc-based games come out day-and-date with the 360…
2. Afrika theme charging-
Agreed, this is dumb, but it costs money to make a dynamic theme and publish it, so….
3. Us Canadians not getting the Uncharted Motion Comic-
I hate this just as much as you, but people need to understand that waiting a week isn’t that bad, and licensing issues are obviously the problem

Great update, but I have to ask what is going on with the older psp games.
There are many old games I want to play still not on the psn. It’s been a while since we got some older releases.
Also there isn’t a single nhl game go owners can buy. Not NHL 07 not NHL2K10.
What happened to Revenge of the Wounded Dragons it was suppose to come out today ?

Here is what I don’t get… You would think a game download like LBP would be cheaper than a store bought UMD copy. Why? Well for one the cost of materials. If you download a copy you are not buying the disc or case/materials. So Sony why are, you charging full price? Downloaded games should be cheaper even if its just $2 to $5 cheaper I would buy. Plus it helps promote PSP GO, use of the store, and would help to sway against the use of your competitors devices/service. Am I the only one that thinks this?

[This post ONLY refers to this week’s PS Store for PSP Update.]
It looks like a good PS Store update this week. It’s great seeing so many PSone Classics added this week as well as the entire year. And it’s also nice seeing more PSP Minis available. I just wish that there was some way to sample those PSone Classics and PSP Minis (either demos or that rumored PSN rental service would be great). As for LittleBigPlanet PSP, I enjoyed playing last week’s demo, so I’ll definitely buy the full version pretty soon. Anyhow, thanks for the update and happy Thanksgiving.
This is good news, I was just about to go pick up a $10 PSN Card the other day. Now I get to buy Flower along with another game. (:
not a great update at all. 1st of all why do we have to pay for the afrika dynamic theme? and 2nd why do we have to pay for a 5 minute video of the u2 comic that is full of adds? i think sony is getting money hungry. that is why they are making a premium psn,next year.

@89/98 You guys are forgetting Ape Escape. Plus I’m still waiting for Dreamcast stuff like Sonic Adventure 2.
I strongly advise others to NOT purchase the UC2 motion comic episode 2. It is formatted as a game rather than a video to prevent you from using the standard video options to fast-forward through the commercial it includes even though you could in the first, FREE episode. This also means that you cannot group it in an album with the first episode and you must manually exit the “game” through the XMB instead of just pressing the circle button. You can’t pause, it plays in a frame that you have to turn off… etc. Please don’t give your money to someone who would intentionally make their product WORSE to force you to watch someone else’s advertisement for a completely unrelated product. It’s a truck ad. Seriously.
Dino Crisis is sweet.. i just wish i could use the analog stick with it :(

Why on earth does the second “Eye of Indra” episode get installed as a game? There’s zero reason for that. I really, really want the ability to “play all” and just watch the entire story at some point. Having to launch individual games every few minutes is pretty lame.
I would be okay if the episodes downloaded like games, but installed movies the same way the PixelJunk soundtracks work. The video doesn’t have to be DRM-free — I can deal with that *restriction* in this case.
Also, I would much rather pay $20 for the whole series without ads. I didn’t realize the paid episodes would have ads. Even though it’s just one ad it has a long runtime compared to the entire episode.

PLEASE, for the love of Kratos, GET SOME VIDEO PREVIEWS OF THE CONTENT YOU ARE TRYING TO SELL ON YOUR STORE! Either you don’t want to pay for the bandwidth or your team is completely oblivious to this need. As an example, look at the Minis section for PSP. You guys want me to purchase any one of those without giving me an idea of what to expect for gameplay. Im sorry, a title and exaggerated description alone does not help whatsoever with my purchasing decision. I can’t believe people buy anything blindly. YES, I know how to use google, but I shouldn’t have to in order to find out what YOUR store is selling.
I think the lack of a FREE dynamic theme in the US store is sad. all major regions got a FREE dynamic theme for the new feature, except for the US. OK, that is fine, there are many things the US store get before the other regions. What I find insulting is that you are now turning around and selling a FREE theme to us for $2.99. I’m sorry but I won’t support the dynamic theme feature anytime soon with that kind of message.

I just want to say that it would be a great idea for the PSN to start showing some kind of previews for all the PSP Mini games-
it’s kind of hard to get any idea about the games by just a text description-
screenshots and/or gameplay video preview for each game would be great!
i would like to buy more but really have no idea what some games will be like at all!

A really great update I might have to buy another couple psone classics this week to go along with RE2 and Soul Reaver last week. Hopefully we continue to get all these great classics coming regularly from now on, I’m especially interested to try Vagrant Story. But I have about 4-5 PS1 classics to get through till then! (That means you guys are doing a great job!)
