Weren’t Castle Crashers and Battle Fantasia supposed to come out before the end of the year? I’ve been hoping for them in the last few updates, but they weren’t there.

Grace, would you happen to have and update on either of those?

-Also, can’ you buy PSN games on Amazon with the money you have on your account there from a giftcard? someone game me one, i redeemed it, but when i go to buy it, it only asks for me to put my Credit Card numbers in. (i just recently created a Amazon account)

If that GT5 demo was indicative of what the final GT5 game will be, then I must say that this game that took 4 or more years of development will be one of the biggest commercial flops Sony has ever experienced. I took the 2 cars on a straightaway and smashed them into the border at 140 mph and not a single dent was made. They just bounced as if they were made of super rubber. What happened to damage modeling? I sure hope Kazunori Yamauchi delays the western release long enough to finally get his head into the game and add damage modeling and custom soundtrax. But I’m sure no one who cares at Sony will read this which will make their surprise at the dismal sales of this game all the more laughable.

The same people whining over, and over, AND over again. There’s no pleasing you people. Every single update Sony makes, there’s always a bunch of ungrateful idiots who can’t even appreciate the hard work Sony is implementing for PSN. Yes, not all of the updates are amazing but there’s no need to throw a tantrum every five minutes.

And chriscowboyd, are you kidding me? The GT5 demo was a time trial. It’s not the full indication of the game itself. -___-

chriscowboyd said:

December 17th, 8:55 pm

If that GT5 prologue-esque demo is not a full indication of the game, then they’d better release a second demo that is.

Dangeresque92 said:

December 17th, 8:59 pm

@ chriscowboyd There was no damage in the demo.. As it is a time trial, you need a car in perfect shape to have a chance in hell, and you shouldn’t be hitting the wall anyway.

I just want to know where my avatars are!

COME ON SONY! Listen to Greg Miller!

MGS Portable Ops & Portable Ops + are now on the PSN AND FFVIII! You surprised me with the MGS Peace Walker Demo, I was cheesin! Lol. But yes, so many good demos, dlc, etc. I’m happy you’re keeping a good ear out to us gamers. Have a great and safe holiday!

Hey grace,

Good update I like the price drops, I already got Tetris! I just have a couple of questions and I was hoping to get answers to at least one…

Why doesn’t SCEA promote the Go like SCEE does with their promotion of a free game to anyone who has bought one?

Will there be any christmas sales on big games that were offered in that promotion like Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines , Gran Turismo, Little Big Planet, MotorStorm, or God of War?

Will there be a pack-in option for the uncharted motion comics like Europe got?

Why do minis such as Hero of Sparta cost 6.99 on PSN but are 1.99 on the apple app store (After a price increase)?

Will the digital content for the go start to be cheaper considering no packaging or physical content then games in store? Look at this article

An answer to any of these questions would be great

A few things.

First, is there any chance we will get a fully customizable set of controls for comics? Aside from deleting from the system itself (no need for a PC) and Manga this is definitely something I greatly desire.

Second, sweet update. Sure, I still wish Lumines (or 2) would hit the PSN and the backlog of PS1 classics was filling faster, but FFVIII & a lot of portable MGS love definitely means I will need to set aside time & money tomorrow so I can get a few games.

Third, still hoping for a reasonable solution to the horrible DRM on the PSN videos. I just can’t fathom why only 1 download per video, as the videos take around 2GB a piece and I can’t see buying any when I can’t simply redownload after deleting from my PSP Go or having to create what should be a needless back-up.

Thanks for a great week, definitely going to spend some time before bed tomorrow looking at what comics are available.
