Wow. Not a great update, but you guys are crying like little whiny…ahem…female canines. Not every update has to be mind-blowing. In fact, count of a lot of them not being mind-blowing.

Indeed, this week isn’t great. Which is fine by me; gives me a chance to catch-up on things I missed.

Seriously lame update in my opinion! Could u at least be generous enough to let us know when castle crashers is coming out or any PS1 games? I mean castle crashers was already made for xbox, don’t all you guys need to do is change the buttons and make the achievements into trophies. Please reply back.

AWWWW!!!!! Vampire weekend is only on Guitar Hero 5? It really should have gone to rockband….

Wez455 said:

January 14th, 5:42 pm

first time poster! this has to be the worst update in forever! if you dont have anything to release….the least you could do is have more sales or price drops! A-holes!

Wez455 said:

January 14th, 5:45 pm

oooohhh… and why do you people actually ask questions? its not like anyone in SCEA gives a damn about what you think. there not going to respond. the euro blog gets some action but grace is too lame to even communicate with the fan base.

By the way what happened to Mega Man Powered Up? Its one of (if not the) last Capcom PSP games announced by them way back in summer. X is nice and all but I need my Gutsman fill.

AvoidTalkingMice said:

At the very least, there should be a weekly deal with something discounted. Sony has no idea how to run their store.

i feel like im back in January 2007 again (although if i was i would happly play R:FOM again), this update was very disappointing from Sony.

I want some new avatars ive been using the same one since i changed it in June 2007

One of the worst updates in a long time… You guys really don’t have much planned for this month do you?

jslayer81 said:

January 14th, 5:48 pm

When The new phantasy star portable comes out i better be able to buy it on the PSPGo. seriously, i just got it and i haven’t seen a good update yet. 2 months into buying it and not alot of support. Keep this up and the current games i own will lose their replay value and then i’ll have to move back to my DS

Is there any chance PSN could add a Minis tab under PS3?

DryvBy said:

January 14th, 6:07 pm

Yay, more money in Steam’s pocket!

DiscoJer said:

January 14th, 6:07 pm

Well, Dynogems finally made it.

But c’mon Sony, you need to figure out a quicker way to release Minis that have been already released in Europe. It’s silly to have them come out 2 months or more later, especially when they’ve been rated by the ESRB.

I mean, you really don’t seem to be taking digital distribution very seriously, despite launching a digital distribution only handheld. Look at Big Fish Games for an idea how to do this. Or Microsoft. There’s a reason you guys are in 3rd place and the PSPGo is a dismal failure. You’re simply not even trying very hard.

Grouken said:

January 14th, 6:08 pm

At least last week we have Ubisoft Special Offers, I was waiting for something similar this week.

hush404 said:

January 14th, 6:10 pm

At least there’s a lunar demo for the PSP.

RexxonTheMighty said:

January 14th, 6:12 pm

Yeah, I’m not really happy about the lack of ps1 titles for the last 2 weeks, or the lack of any real psn releases.

Here’s to hoping for a major group of releases soon.

BeerManMike said:

January 14th, 6:12 pm

LOL! I called out Sony on the forums for the lack of a new years update. All the forum people were saying to wait and maybe they’re saving up for an awesome update. Well into Jan and were getting this! haha what junk. Why even look forward to or get excited about an update on thursday anymore?

xiked said:

January 14th, 6:16 pm

Why cant PSN demand demos for every game? if not demos, maybe a trailer in the preview section and some screen shots. This should be something that every game include.

mrpaulryan said:

January 14th, 6:18 pm

Yeesh. The holiday break is over, Sony. When are you planning to get back to work?

lanis01 said:

Put more new avatars up. I thought they were starting to roll them out once the LBP one’s were out.

Keyeszx said:

January 14th, 6:29 pm

This was horrible. Worst week ever. They better do better.

jhl74 said:

January 14th, 6:33 pm

Why would they even bother reading the comments here if they are too lazy to give us a proper update? They probably don’t have much intention to please the consumers to begin with. At this rate, it seems unlikely that we’d even see one fifth of PS1 library by the end of PS3/PSP cycle.

adventfire said:

January 14th, 6:35 pm

Okay, I find it funny that people are complaining about people complaining. First, this a TERRIBLE update with not much substance. Second, after Sony began the playstation store you would think it would get BETTER NOT stay the same or get worse. Third after the BIG announcement of the all digital PSP Go! Sony is not showing much support in the way of game choices. It seems NO ONE from Sony reads these posts anyway so if cash carrying consumers want to blow off some steam by posting more power to them. However the BEST way to get Sony’s attention is to stop buying their products, maybe then they’ll notice people arent happy with the way they are doing things.

mafecto said:

January 14th, 6:38 pm

What a joke. How hard is it to add some freaking avatars? Really. How hard is it to make a freaking picture available for download?

I’ve had my PS3 2 1/2 years and this is the worst update I’ve seen. You guys suck. Get back to work. Bye.

ZildjianKX said:

You people complaining about PSP Go are complete TOOLS. Seriously, the Store has over 200 PSP games. Almost all of the best are up there. Can you even name a half dozen GOOD PSP games that aren’t on the store yet? I can only think of 4. FF1&2, Crisis Core and Mega Man Powered Up. And maybe 2 or 3 more TOPS.

And you “people” (and I use that term lightly) show how idiotic you really are when you blame SONY for those games not being on the store. It’s 100% the developers fault, not Sony’s. Go cry and maon to the developers. THEY are the ones who have to deliver digital versions of these games to be distributed on the PSN Store. Sony can’t do it themselves, nor can they snap their fingers and make it magically appear. You cry baby complainers are complete dopes.

And people wonder why PS3 games don’t sell well. It’s because you retardswould rather spend your money on old, over-priced PS1 games that SUCK compared to anything on PS3.

Gamers today are nothing but a bunch of cry babies, complainers and idiots. You’re no more than a shadow of my generation of gamers.
