  • Last two weeks have been better than usual. Honestly, even the DS hasn’t put out anything worthwhile since Zelda.

But, I really wish we could get PSPs Downstream Panic, Final Fantasy Tacitcs, and Crisis Core (please, please, please).

I would also like to see some real PSOne classics like: Chrono Cross, Dino Crisis 2, Clock Tower, Vagrant Story, Parasite Eve.

But, most important, I want to see the prices on PSN reflect the prices at Gamestop and Amazon. Why do I have to pay $10 or $15 more for a game than somone who owns a PSP 3000?

Unfortunately, I think Sony has given up on the PSP in America. And I blame every pirate that decided it was their right to download illegal copies of games.

  • What would have made the tester better is at the end of the eposode – show all the pictures so the viewers can see how hard the test was (without the incredible stress).

  • at the end of ’09, i saw all these great games coming out on the psn and a whole list of games to come out for the psp. because of that, i turned all my best buy giftcards i got for presents into playstation netword cash. gotta say, i really regret that now, cuz im left with a lot of money in the psn wallet and hasnt been much to buy since…well, before christmas.

this by no means is to say that ps3 hasnt gotten good stuff to buy, but thats because they have indie games like flower and zen pinball. the psp doesnt really have any good indie games, we get over priced “minis” that really just terrible.

i dont want avatars, i dont want premium themes, i dont want videos . i just want games to play on my portable gaming console. stop making the psp store this whole black veil about whats coming out. if you have some psone game that just needs final approval, make some kind of announcement like ” [classic psone] is almost ready, should only be a few weeks”.

  • i love how massive the updates have been lately. Assassin’s Creed DLC is a must & any & all Buzz trivia packs are always welcome.

also…i know i keep saying it but can we get a PixelJunk Monsters 2 or a third island DLC for the first game? THE PEOPLE WANT IT!

  • How about the GOW3 demo that everyone’s played but me?

  • @203-

I totally agree. Why can Gamestop and Amazon give me a release schedule that stretches months into the future, but PSN can’t.

I’m also pretty disgusted that Sony never responds to anyone on their boards (although, Grace did respond to me a few weeks ago). People have legitimate complaints and Sony should address them.

But, I have found a few game gems that I don’t think I would have discovered if there was more on PSN – Tokobots and Dracula X and Jeanne D’Arc.

  • this is the first time i’ve seen 3 psone classics released at the same time. the thing is they all suck… quality not quantity… why dont you stick to releasing greatest hits before bothering with stupid games like this

  • Anyone else have/had trouble with the Marvel Capcom 2 download?I get a 6kb full game install unlock which happens but no game appears anywhere. It’s in my download list as just that which seems odd but they did take my money immediately.Any suggestions?

  • Still peeved about you guys saying how you can download the Eye of Judgment Legends demo and, in fact, you can’t.

  • Wait, why is the Assassin’s Creed 2 DLC more expensive on PSN than on XBL?!

  • ya $1 more for reg map and $3 more for bonuses… wth?

  • mrmotosuwa68 u need to download and install the demo.. u bought and got just the code to unlock the demo to reg game!

  • @195

no way, i want to see that train wreck all the way to the end. these people really have no clue what they’re trying to get themselves into.

  • Gone are the days of the FREE Themes, I guess. Boo! Checked the state of unemployment and the economy lately, Sony? It’s just a theme.

  • @oly1kenobi…got it and thanks alot for the help!

  • Tried watching the Tester. It’s bad, real bad.

Sony should focus more on games and less on bad reality shows.

    Truly awful.

  • Final Fantasy XIII DEMO PLEASE (Square-enix) if your looking here. we was promised a demo=) Japan has had a demo for months (go figure)… But update was not that bad Got me some DLC fo AC2. =)

  • good job with more avatars, we need mature and explicit ones too like a Vajay Jay

  • Please … ffs … just tell us what the deal with the Dragon Age DLC is. At this rate, the full expansion will be out before this DLC

  • If Sony doesn’t begin to release some good PSP games for download, I’m going to “release” my PSP Go into the river and watch it float away. That would at least be something entertaining I could do with it.

  • Wow, SCEA has made horrifyingly horrible progress during my vacation.

  • ok so ive been waiting for the AC2 DLC and its here but i think that you should have seperated the Arsenal Shipyard from the others cause that specific location was only available in the Black edition which was only available in Europe,i got the Master Assassin Edition from Gamestop with the other 2 already

  • I want to know when the Modern Warfare 2 Map pack comes out I know itll be out sometime in the next 5 weeks but I want to know which week!

  • Qore
All Qore subscribers and purchasers of February’s episode (#21) can now visit Episode 21’s Download Center to download The Eye of Judgment LEGENDS demo for the PSP/PSPgo
Such CRAP!!!! Give me my demo please or my $3.20! Thank you

  • Hey, what the heck happend to the AC Sequence 13 downloads? First errors now gone!

NOT FAIR… I haven’t even had a chance to download the things… What gives! Please share…

  • @206

exactly. even an industry like comicbooks always has a schedule a week in advance that gets stuff added onto as to what will be available that week.

i dont even expect sony to give a solid release date on some games back catalog games, just some kind of list on what titles they’re hoping to get up, which ones they’re working on, and which ones they have no plans on. just some kind of list i can look at and say to myself “huh…Ys is coming out, got something to look forward to”

  • Grace,

Would you mind describing to us exactly what your responsibilities are as “Senior Manager, PlayStation Store”?

I have to say that part of the problem that exists here is that you hardly ever reply to inquiries listed on your weekly PlayStation Store Update post. Your lack of communication is irritating and it would be nice if someone at Sony would put somebody in charge of this that actually seems to care…perhaps Mike Kebby on the EU PlayStation Blog. He replies…a lot.

A quick scorecard comparing replies made by you and Mike for your respective Store Updates this month:

    Feb 4th:
    Grace: 3
    Mike: 28

    Feb 11th:
    Grace: 0
    Mike: 34

    Feb 18th:
    Grace: 0
    Mike: 43

So Mike averages 35 replies a week to the EU store update and you average 1! Seriously?

Sony, if someone is the voice that connects with your community, please make sure they actually take the time to do more than just Copy/Paste the update and load it to the Blog each week!

And by the way, where in the world is the Demon’s Souls Dynamic Theme already? Japan has had it for 5-6 months now.

  • Any plans on reimbursing the customers that bought the Assassin’s Creed II DLC? I paid $9.99 and it’d be nice to have that $3 back to put towards another purchase.

  • Dear Sony

Please bring Die Hard Trilogy and Alien Trilogy for the PS1 Classics. Thank you!

  • can there be more updates for the psp?!!

PSPgo owner here… and I haven’t seen anything worth downloading…

  • i like to read most of the comments before i submit mine and its cus a lot of people say the same thing. I got A LOT for my ps3 this week, I mean a lot!!…………but my psp didnt get much. I have the money to spend and I WANT to spend money on it but I dont understand why no good content recently. I love my ps3 and psp but spend MOST of my time on my ps3. I hope you guys put out better content. Even ps1 classics that I know about. I wouldnt mind dino crisis 2, parasite eve….something. I have only heard of mass descruction, but the other 2 I never knew they existed till now. I guess I’ll just wait till next week for my psp. Thanks a lot for all the ps3 stuff. I spent almost 40$ on ps3 stuff and I’m a poor college student. thanks. oh and the tester is awesome thanks for making it free!!!

  • Saw you did a strike-through for those who just purchase Feb’s Qore. This is new. However, at the time you were advertising it. And that’s why I bought it. Who can I contact to get my $2.99 refund? This is ridiculous. Promising content then saying “nope!” a day later.

  • @227 – OleGunnar

    You are so right!

  • I guess 232’s comment cements 227’s comment as truth.

You pull something like that and you still, STILL, haven’t made a comment?

    Enjoy your weekend Grace!

  • i have to say that until they do something about the egregious price difference with the AC2 DLC between the PSN and XBL i will not be spending my money.

  • which i guess they’ve adjusted now. at least they’re listening.

  • IS THERE ANY WAY TO GET THE MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE 2 CHARACTER PACK AND JUGGERNAUT PACK. IT WAS IN THE DOWNLOADS A FEW WEEKS AGO NOW THEY ARE GONE

  • biggest LOL of the decade= all the morons who paid 200 plus dollars for a PSP NO-GO,Heres a tip to every one, Stop wasting your money on stupid worthless junk, this includes 60% of the worthless games on psn, (Yes there are sum great games on Psn) like the psp go and SONy will stop trying to sell you worthless junk, or go brankrupt in the process, fyi everyone should sell their psp go’s cuz guess what guys, there good for one thing, paper weights

  • On a more postive note, Playstation home is becominhg a much better play to hang and game, salt shooter is the best 5 bucks u can spend on Playstation, Sony, bring more games and content like this and microsoft will be crapping their pants keep up the good work

  • PlayStation Network needs to get a Myspace thing on There, Cause facebook is lame.
    I like Myspace Better.

and the playstation store should have a section where we can download Music to our ps3 :)

    …And Music Videos… i want my Lady Gaga… and i dont have a computer!!haha XD FAIL!

  • Playstation Should get a game like smash bros!!! where Ratchet & Clank, Cratos, and all those other badass characters come together in one game and kick eachothers asses!!

  • Honestly, where is my MLB 10 the show demo c’mon what are the guys at Sony doing

  • So I was promised content… and, after shelling $2.99 for the eye of judgment legends demo and not being able to download it, you just do a strikethrough like “WOOPS! Our bad!” That’s fraud. So much crap right there… absolutely ridiculous.

  • “and purchasers of February’s episode (#21)” crossed out…

    SC$#W you guys.

Pay $3.00 for the episode to get the EoJ Legends demo then see if I like Qore or not is a good way to go. But making people pay for a year. You guys are money WH*$ES

  • I bought MvC2 cause of the sale.

  • @olegunnar. Thanks.

  • could you please make final fantasy 7: crisis core available to psn… :(

  • How about downloadable PS2 classics like ICO for the PS3 why don’t we start getting those too.

  • so what time are they going to give out the updates on the 25 of feb ? Right now it’s 7:48pm eastern time.

  • just noticed the assassin’s creed bonfire of the vanities dlc price was adjusted … it would be nice to get that $1 back to go to something else
