Hi everyone! For those of you who still have yet to pick up your very own PSPgo system, there’s no better time than now. As most of you already know, PSPgo is the first all-digital, full-game handheld entertainment system on the market to date. Since its launch last October, we’ve seen a tremendous response to the newest member of the PSP family. If you’re ready to take the next step in portable entertainment, you’re in luck!

For a limited time, we’re offering an incredible value to all of you PSP newbies. Now through Sunday, March 21, 2010, U.S. and Canadian consumers who purchase a new PSPgo system can download one of our top PSP titles from the PlayStation Store at no additional cost. How you ask? In short, this limited-time offer combines the PSPgo system with a PSPgo In-game Promotion Code, which entitles you to a digital download of either LittleBigPlanet (PSP) or Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines.

PSPgo Voucher Code

The PSPgo In-game Promotion Code redemption process is simple:

  • You must purchase a new PSPgo unit between Thursday, February 18, 2010 and Sunday, March 21, 2010.
  • To redeem code, you must create a PlayStation Network account or login to your existing account directly from your PSPgo system.
  • SCEA will then e-mail a code (using the email associated with one’s PSN account), which is good for one qualifying PlayStation Network account to download the game for the PSPgo system, via the PlayStation Store.
  • All in-game promotion codes must be redeemed by March 31, 2010.

With more than 300 downloadable games, and more than 2,700 movies and 17,000 TV episodes available on the PlayStation Network (video download service available to U.S. residents only), PSPgo is the ultimate handheld entertainment system designed for the digital lifestyle. Again, the PSPgo In-game Promotion Code will only be available for a short while so be sure you take advantage of this limited offer soon. As always, we look forward to hearing your feedback. Enjoy!

  • Why no replies, Sony? Seriously! People have questions!

  • I got a psp go on friday the 19 but I still didnt get my promotion code in my email. How do I suppose to get it

  • You will get the voucher 7-10 days after you register your go. If your 16 and younger you get Little Big Planet, if your 17 and older you get Assassins Creed. They said their isn’t any way around this. You do not get to choose the game. Maybe we can set up a trading post, if they give us a code.

  • I will be receiving Assassin’s Creed because of my age. I would rather have LittleBIGPlanet. Is there anybody who is under 17 who would like Assassin’s Creed instead of LBP? Or already own LBP and would like to trade codes with me?

Please email me at vern.lincoln [at] gmail [dot] com

  • DO NOT WANT AC: Bloodlines. I better get a choice of the game or the PSP goes back to BestBuy.

  • I don’t want AC Bloodlines either, I want LBP.

  • I really hope that’s not true. It’s sad ‘cuz I bet most of the people under 17 want AC: Bloodlines and most of the people over 17 want LBP. LOL.

  • Do we know for sure that they send codes for the download? Couldn’t we just create an under 17 personal account and then use the code on our main account?

  • What the hell Sony!!! i brought the psp go on the first week it came out!! just that only and now this promo is going on! what the hell what about the existing psp go owners huh Sony!!!! we should get the code too u know cuz i LBP game too for free for having the psp go!!!!!!!

  • Sony, I got this game when it first came out!!!

Does that make me not eligible for a free game?

  • (Edit of my previous post is not possible)

Sony, I got this CONSOLE when it first came out!!!

Does that make me not eligible for a free game?

  • I just purchased my PSP Go, logged into the store from the unit. How long before the codes are emailed out? or did I miss a step?

  • Does anyone want Assassin’s Creed? Seriously, I just got off the phone with Sony again, and they can’t change it.

This sucks. I wanted LittleBigPlanet, and it LOOKED LIKE YOU HAD A CHOICE.

    I call shenanigans.

  • False advertising. Lawsuit. lol… I wonder how many people bought a go because they wanted LBP? Sony, you screwed some folks out of 250 bucks. lol

  • /sigh

Working in management within a very large video game retail company,
I find it increasingly difficult to back the PSPGo.
I bought mine a couple months ago, fully aware North America was not getting a free digital copy of anything compared to the UK… Now they’re offering something for people who purchase it within a small time frame, with no back dating?

I understand PSP bundles are “while quantities last”. But this seems a bit low on Sony’s part.

…. Oh wait… I can enjoy my 5 song RB game.

  • Glad I did my homework. Bought my PSPgo yesterday, registered an account for my son, and logged in to my/his new PSP. I am looking forward to getting his copy of LBP (so I can steal the $250 toy I just bought him!)

  • sadly I didnt even get a rockband voucher with my psp go and I got mine in mid Jan Sony def dropped the ball and surpise once again the PSN update for psp is just sad

  • I brought a pspgo feb 20th from newegg.com (the white one) for the price of $200 and free shipping. Im not sure if the website made a mistake but I just got it last night. Im planning on logging on tonight after work to get to the code for Little Big Planet. I think they are going to have drop the price soon but I found a deal that I just couldn’t pass up. I have a PSP 1000 also and several games.

  • It has been a week and I still haven’t gotten a code. :-/

  • Seriously? This is how you treat your early adopters? I’ve spent aver $350 on this, and all I have to show for it is that I can play Gran Turismo and Jak and Daxter (which SUCKS by the way) on the go.

Sony, I love your full Playstsions, but the way you have treated me with the PSP (sub par games, ridiculous prices for handheld games) you almost FORCE me into piracy.

I bet if you just lowered your prices by a significant percent, you would end up making more money by gaining back all the business you lose to piracy.

Until you provide me with a TRUE next gen mobile gaming solution, that gives me full access to the PSN, a higher res screen and MUCH BETTER games (think Naughty Dog making a mobile game) I’m going to have to stick with nintendo for my on the go gaming needs.

  • Thanks for the slap in the face SONY.

  • This will probably get me banned but Sony you are a bunch of cowards. The way you treat your customers (the sheer reason you have your jobs) is ridiculous. You don’t care about the feedback that the people on this forum provide and if you do you sure don’t respond to let them know it.

You insult your fanbase with your pricing structure and follow it up with false promises (support for the Go being the main one).

The latest insult being this promotion. Not only do you screw over early adopters by offering this to new customers, you then provide blatant ageism by forcing adults into a mature game. You bill LBP as a “family” title yet if a parent buys the GO and sets up the account (the responsible thing to do as a parent) for their kid you give them AC?

There are several reasons you are last in both console and handheld markets. The above are just a few…

But why should I care, you won’t read this and you sure won’t reply to it…

  • where’s the code sony…bought the psp go on the 22nd and no code. Hopefully we don’t have to wait too long.

  • If my code isn’t in my inbox tomorrow, I will be calling for a 3rd time, and I won’t be done until I have a code for LBP in my hands. This is beyond annoying now.

  • Sony I am not happy right now. It is 2/26/2010. It is 6:30 p.m. eastern time. I just got off the phone with this number 1-800-345-7669. I got a hold of a technician. He said he couldn’t find the information in the computer. He said sony took it down. I activated my pspgo 2-3 days ago. I still have not recieved a code, and the tech told me you might not be doing it anymore. I bought this go because of this. I would like to know when the code will come to me. I would also like to have little big planet. I don’t want to be forced into the pile of crap assassins creed. This system is for my wife and she does not play games like assassins creed.

So what is going on with the code. When will I get it. I have supported sony big time. I bought a launch ps3. I bought a slim ps3 for my bed room. I bought a psp gen 1, 2 and 3, and now a go.

  • My code arrived, and it’s for Assassin’s Creed.
I should have been given a choice.

  • Anyone wanna trade a Assassins Creed code for Little Big Planet? I just got my code.

  • Nobody wants Assassin’s Creed. Everyone wants LBP.

  • I want Assassin’s Creed (Because I got LBP for x-mas)

But I bought my Go on launch, so I can’t get the code…unless someone doesn’t want theirs

    This promotion sucks, Sony.

  • How long does it take to receive the email? I got my PSPgo yesterday and have not received an e-mail as of yet. I have signed on to PSN with my account that I originally had through the PSP go. If I can get a time frame that would be greatly appreciated

  • It takes 6 days to get the code from sony.

If they had just taken 2 fricken mins to tell us hey if your over 17 we’re goin to force a mature title on your household I would have registered appropriately. And I wouldn’t have been on the phone with Sony for an hour trying to explain the issue to a tech that doesn’t even know about this promo. I wonder what the ESRB would think and I’m tempted to file a complaint with who ever is in charge of false adverting.

  • Well it’s been over 7 days for me and I still haven’t received a code (bought mine last Friday night). :-/

  • This promotion is available to Canada too right?

Anyone wanna trade? My girlfriend got me a PSN card for $20 but it won’t work on my US console, and I really want AC since I already have LBP…

Email me if you wanna trade?
    [DELETED]

  • They deleted my email from it
    Boo

  • Sony considering the PS3 black out the other day and this whole mess here it might be time for some good PR with your loyal fans so take a hint and hook up all PSN users with some free content or vouchers ya know just an idea do what ya want with it

  • Well if someone wants to trade AC for my $20 Canadian points card, the offer is still on the the table, but we’d have to find a way to contact each other…

  • I bought my pspgo Tuesday, just because of this. I set up the network access, I have even bought some games and videos. I didn’t get my free code. Just the rockband one that came with the system.

When can I dl Dante’s Inferno?

  • Uh, what PSP Silent Hill games are not on the Go? I have Origins, Shattered Memories and SH1 on mine and have since the day they were made available, which for SH:SM was the same day of release as the UMD version…and at 6 in the morning to boot? Every third-pasrty non-import title I’ve seen listed has come out on the day it was supposed to. Utter Fail! Now if you want to [DELETED] about something why not talk about Sony letting third-party devs put games on PSN without the manuals? Or like a million other things. I personally love my Go… Carrying around a ton of UMDs is not my idea of fun. But I do think that those of us who purchased on launch day got ripped off…

  • Bought the PSPgo on Friday and downloading my free copy of LBP now. Took less than a week to get the code. Up until now I’ve been only playing demos, Thanks Sony!

  • I bought a psp go on Thursday March 4 and I have yet to receive the game code. When should I receive the game code for a free game?

  • HOW THE SYSTEM IS IT BETTER THAN THE REG PSP??

  • HOW DO U DWNLOAD GAMES N OTHA THINGS??

  • im goin to try and b different and not just bash playstation. i personally dont like the go bcuz i like to actually buy a physical copy and would worry about the amount of space i have left. The only reason i am dissapointed in sony is becuz u dont have all psp games on the psn. Also, since the console is smaller and has no umd drive, shouldn’t manufacturing cost? Just saying…i mean i love sony bought my ps2 in 2005, first game was jak 2(a sce game) and got my ps3 last christmas, first game was uncharted 2(another sce game). Just saying im dissapointed

  • I registered mine on March 1st and still haven’t received anything.
    Is this available in Canada?
What is the proper way to register your PSP Go? I’ve heard just logging into the PSstore works but others say you have to register the hardware on a website…

This promotion is NOT very clear…
Can someone who had RECEIVED THEIR CODE maybe post what you did to register (just sign into PSN, or whatever) how long it took to get the email, and also what State/Province you live in.

    Thanx

  • “For a limited time, we’re offering an incredible value to all of you PSP newbies. Now through Sunday, March 21, 2010, U.S. and Canadian consumers who purchase a new PSPgo system”

    guess i shoulda read that…

one more question: is registering the PSP Go considered just signing into the PSN, or do we ‘activate’ the system from account managment in the XMB or with a PS3?

  • hi!
so they will just automatically email me the voucher code?
we just got psp go today..
for how long is the wait?
we would love to get the little big planet..
    *^_^*

  • I just received my redemption code for Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines. Is it possible to exchange this for the LittleBigPlanet redemption code? If I had a choice between either the good game or the awesome game, I’d rather have the awesome game.

  • I love my PSP Go, the hardware is lovely, thing is, why are there not more PSP games on PSN? (For pal users anyway)

I quite fancy a go on Secret agent clank, but can’t because I have a go!? Surely a high profile release like this should be on there by now?

  • I already bought my PSPgo system, of course a new one.
I opened my PSN account but the code doesnt appear in my e-mail
    Some help??????????!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hey GunMunkee!
–>so did it just came to your email?
and just automatically gave u LBP?
or did u have a choice?

    im waiting for my code..
i hope il get LBP too
otherwise i might just return my psp go and wait till the price drops
    there’s rumor out there..
    idk
il be very very sad if i dont get LBP
