  • While I totally appreciate the extra free quests, I have a couple of issues with the limited availability ones.

I feel like I am being forced to rush through the game in order to be able to rank up enough to play them, which is not only doing the game a dis-service, but is spoiling my enjoyment of it.

Is it still possible to achieve the 50 S Ranks trophy without playing the limited quests? Because if you cant that’s really going to annoy alot of people.

  • just to check whether other region PSN players(eg, I’m from Asia PSN) can get the new quests using the R1 disc?

  • Will I be able to download it if I live in Europe and have EU version of WKC?

  • Please answer this, me and the group I’m in on Geonet would like to know if there are Level 5 forums so we can give ideas for WKC2 online mode?hanks so much for bringing WKC to the US and hopefully will get WKC as well!

  • @51
Yes, you can get the 50 S-rank quests even without any of this new DLC. We had 53 quests to begin with:

    BC1, BC2 and 3 tiers of 17 different quests: 2 + (17×3) = 53

  • i need to get my guild rank higher my guild rank is only 5 i must start playing online more asap

  • @55 thanks for answering my question,

I haven’t got all the way through the game yet, so I am yet to find out if there was enough quests to get the trophy :-)

  • I agree with Jag12…I never swear or curse, but when I’m playing WKC it probably looks like I am since so many words get starred out. It’s really frustrating to be trying to say something and then have to go back and S P E L L it out so people will know what you are saying.

However, I am now super torn. Do I play WKC, FF13 or God of War 3? Curse you free quests!! (Not really.)

  • To anyone at Level 5, please hear me.

I have been following you since the beginning, ever since i saw Tone sailing on that magic carpet in the early version of Dark Cloud and i have to say, as a fan, please continue with what you guys do, you are keeping the spirit of the traditional RPG alive by staying in touch with the roots at the same time as offering something new. What you guys deliver (and WKC is a recent example) is EVERYTHING i miss in today’s RPG. The music, the charm, the towns, the design, the stories…everything.

Your RPG’s scream golden era RPG and that scream can not be heard in many places today.

The reason i have to say this is that i am worried the lazyness of some unreadable reviews MAY have made you rethink things and i’m hoping you guys continue to do what you always do best and unlike any other.

I feel great that 90% of players feel the opposite to what has been said in so-called professional reviews and i hope you guys do too.

As for this news, well, it’s further proof of your brilliance.

I’d be greatfull if you could let me know if you read this :)

I eagerly await future DLC and of course, WKC 2.

Thanks Level 5 (I had no idea where else to say this!)

    • Thanks for the love and support! We’re glad you enjoy the game and we’ll make sure to convey your kind words to Level 5.

  • Why must you do this right after FF13 comes out?

  • To solo13: Maybe they do this to punish SquareEnix for their decision to switch FF13 to multi-platform. :)
Personally, I will stick to WKC to show my support. As a FF fan, I felt betrayed when I heard FF13 switch to other console. (I will eventually get one copy, but maybe a used one when the price drop).
Square think that switching to multi-platform could help them sell the game, well then, let the owner of the other console help them :)

  • I’m assuming all the quests are already on the disc so what is the purpose of not having them all permanent unlocks? Why have some disappear/cycle? Why not let people keep all of them so they can enjoy playing whenever they want.
    I just don’t get it…

  • i think i maybe wanna play ff 13 instead this game sucks sins you cant get items for upgrade before a patch comes why even make that it makes no sense i loved the game until i had to get arondite to lv 5 where you need magebeast shell but cant get it in the game. that sucks and maid me lose the interest in the game

  • So I’m really interested in doing the new quests but each time my brother and I get part way through Heat Waves geonet kicks us off, its very discouraging when it happens two or three times in a row when we get to the good parts of the quest.

  • Will I need to beat the single player of the game?

I don’t think they’re free of charge because I don’t see them on the world map.

  • Ok, I played Final Fantasy XIII for 2 weeks without once getting disconnected from PSN, but while I’m on geonet I get disconnected every 15minutes. It’s starting to get to the point where I dont even wanna play anymore cause I can barely get in one quest before the next disconnect.

  • When are we going to see an update as to which quests are staying and going this wave desperate defense or Nocturnal commission?

  • I don’t mean to be an ass or anything but, I was recently playing White Knight Chronicles and a player joined with “SCEA STAFF” as his username. I thought “Cool, i can ask him/her about upcoming quests and such”. Then he started muttering profanities into his mic. (I wasn’t offended or anything). I checked his user ID, and I don’t think he was an actual staff worker.
I don’t want to post his UserID here or get him into any trouble, but shouldn’t “SCEA STAFF” player names be exclusive to actual employees?
