  • @ laratablue:
have you ever heard of April 1st ?
    ^_^

  • @ Mobius:
the Sub-Controller connects via Bluetooth, so no stupid cord between them.

  • Where do I begin?
Well first off, that 1:1 motion control that doesn’t exist? It was released last year on the Nintendo Wii. Has none of these people heard of the Wii Motion Plus.
Second, Why is this necessary? The PS3 is finally marching out of it’s swampy early years, is it because of Project Natal? Am I supposed to believe that Sony just magically thought up of Playstation Move, that it’s pure coincidence that the Playstation Move is practically a shameless ripoff of the Wii?Regardless of the reason, why does Sony feel the need to throw it’s hat into the motion control ring?
Let Microsoft and Nintendo fight over the casual market, Sony should focus on one thing. Making better games.

  • Looks like crap just like all motion sensing controllers natal also looks lame.

  • Please add a glowing ball to the subcontroller so that it’s capable of 1:1 motion too. You guys showed that you need two move controllers to play some games (boxing, sword+shield). And you need 1 move controller and one sub controller for some games (SOCOM3).

And if you want to play those games that need two move controllers multiplayer (ie, box with your friend etc) and those games that require the move + subcontroller (SOCOM 3), then you’ll need four move controllers, and 2 subcontrollers, plus the eyetoy camera.

That’s a whole lot of crap to buy and have lying around the house just to be able to play my games with just one other friend.

  • Or better yet, you could have just added an analog stick to the move controller. And that way, there wouldn’t even be such a thing as a subcontroller. You could just use 2 Move controllers for every game. You could even use 2 Move controllers to completely displace the need for a Dual Shock 3, even for regular games. Because those two move controllers combined would have all the same buttons and analog sticks as a standard DS3 controller, saving you money.

Best of all, you could then have games that both have you using 1:1 action for both arms, while also letting you move your character using the analog stick (say an old school beat em up style game like Final Fight that has you move your character through the level going around beating the crap out of anyone that you run in to). Screw Wii Fit, that would be a hell of an awesome work out too, and would probably help you build bigger biceps.

  • Regardless of its too late to add the glowing ball to the subcontroller to enable 1:1 motion for both arms, please do make an old school beatup game like Streets of Rage or Final Fight in 3D, using 1:1 action for both arms. I would love to get a solid work out for my arms while gaming, and beating the crap out a gang of thugs as I do. :)

  • Does anybody know the title of the introduction Song?

  • Good game could be a Bass Master Fishing game with the Move & Sub controllers.

  • I’m going to take a wait and see aproach with this stuff. Once some serious developers get behind this and make sweet games for it I’ll buy it but its going to take more than a wii sports like game for it to get me on board. I’ve been burned a few times with sony now. The PS2 hard drive was suppose to be sweet but they never did anything with it so it was a huge waste of my money. So far the PSEye has been a huge disapointment aswell.

  • I honestly feel embarrassed because Microsoft is making something better (Project Natal) with no controllers
If Natal works OK it will beat MOVE and move it out of competition . HOPE PS comes up with something better . :(

  • PS3 Move Main Controller NeedsBuilt-in Analog Stick Like Sixsense TrueMotion

The control set up that Sixense had implemented at Razer’s CES booth used the left-handed TrueMotion controller for much of what the left hand side of a keyboard or controller would do. Angling the controller downward crouched, a flick upward performed a jump, a push forward shoved. It was also used to toss grenades. A flick of the controller left or right cycled through weapons, and after choosing the grenade, an overhand toss motion tossed that equipped item… The right hand controller controlled firing, camera control and melee weapon swings.

  • PS3 Move Main Controller NeedsBuilt-in Analog Stick Like Sixsense TrueMotion

Advantages of 2 Identical Move Controllers with built-in analog stick set up.
    1) Purcahse of a 2nd Move Controller with analog built-in is natural, practical, needed, efficient and economical for us gamers and Sony. It will allow us to just about be able to play any Move compatible game out there.
    2) 2 Move controllers with built-in analog stick replicates Dual shock 3 controller configuration used in many games like 3rd person action & shooters like RE 5 & Uncharted 2.
    3) Move controller with analog stick can be motion captured unlike the SubController allowing for more gameplay freedom and mechanics. The X,O, Triangle & Square button can substitute for some of the digital directional buttons.
    4) 2 Identical controller set up doesnt look like the WiiMote+Nunchuck set up
    5) Use of all 7 identical Move controllers with built-in analog stick SIMULTANEOUSLY
    6) Reduced overall cost

  • Disadvantages of the Sub-Controller
    1) Adds up to the cost!
    2) It will probably not be used most of the time specially when the DS3 is around
    3) costly for gamers and Sony
    4) looks like a Wiimote + nunchuck set up rip off

  • that is relly nice it a long time to see it in stores

  • please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ps3 people make a naruto game with the playstation move it will be so fun if you know anything about naruto you could put the controller and raise it by your eye with kakashi and do sharingan that will be so awesome please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
