I think this is a great update for PSP owners. A lot of price drops on good games, a bunch of free videos, free LBP theme, and a good Mini! We can’t expect a million new games every week (there aren’t even good PS3 disc-based games released every week, so why should there be new digital games on PSN?). As a PSP Go owner, I’ve been very happy with PSN. There’s like 300 games on there and almost 50 minis in just 6 months since the release. Sure only about 25% of the minis are any good, but think about how many crap iPhone games there are compared to the good ones. I’m sure there are a few older UMD games they need to release, but most of the top titles are on there. I get the feeling that a lot of the complainers already had those games on UMD anyway. Just play them on your old PSP if you need them so badly. Keep it up Sony – the sales and price drops are much appreciated! The PSP is not dead.

When is the next PSP firmware update coming out? What will be included in the upcoming PSP firmware update?
For once I like the update………. I still think people should be forced to show what they rated the post IMHO. But right now it seems like many PSone gamers are fed up with no more JRPGs…… Ever notice when ever a JRPG hits the PSone downloads on the PS Store the overall rating for the post it’s in sky rockets?
IMHO If you bash a post too many times you should be banned from posting on the blog. it’s one thing to state your opinion a few times, it’s another to spam hate all over the blog because you are not getting the content you want.
So far this year, the PlayStation Store updates have been really weak. One PSone game a week and more videos and themes than anything else. It is kind of disappointing, but April 29th will make up for it when Record of Agarest Wars is put on the PlayStation Store. So, go ahead Sony and put lackluster products up until then, cause that $40 – $50 game will be the only thing that I purchase this month.

Sucker. Based on the past history of the PSP downloads on PSN I knew the GO was fail waiting to happen. From the looks of it, the price has dropped to $150 used. So even the used market is trying to dump them.
@136 – Patience, padawan! I’m sure the PSone titles you want are on their way – it’s just a matter of time. I’m reasonably sure there’s alot of behind the scenes, technical, and/or legal stuff going on over @ Sony regarding PSone titles on PSN that we, the average consumer, aren’t privy to that essentially slows down the process. Give ’em (Sony) time & sooner or later what you want will come out. FF7 & FF8, for example, took forever to come to PSN (& ppl were clamouring over them), but they DID get released nonetheless.
How hard is it to just make a little video of your Dynamic Themes? Its Dynamic, jeeeez!! NOT a wallpaper. I will not purchase anymore Dynamic Themes until you start providing videos for them.
It just makes you all look like a bunch of inconsistent Slackers when i see so many little things done wrong here in Sony-North America. Where is yor quality control? who handles quality control? Do you know what that means? I’m sorry but i’m so frustrated with Sony right now i had to vent. Get with the program!!!
Well, I figured we would get either FFIX, Vagrant Story, or even Joe Danger this week, but was I wrong. Not too bad of an update, but it could’ve been even better with one of those three games included with the update. Any ideas on when we will be blessed with these three games……c’mon already! U know they are gonna sell mass quantities when they are released….so lets get a move on it…….pretty please = D

… but I’d just like to be sure, these are permanent price reductions and not just on sale like the EU PSN??? And will we see similar price drops/ sales as seen in the EU PSN currently?
Also, is there content available in the US PSN that is NOT in the Canadian PSN and if so could you maybe answer why that is/ or is it 1 North American PSN Store?
