As some of you may have heard, the weekly PlayStation Store Update is packing up its belongings and moving…from Thursday to Tuesday. So, beginning next Tuesday, May 4, I’ll be back to share the latest PlayStation Store content updates with everyone.
Next week’s updates will be highlighted by the Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package expansion, and Fat Princess: A Fistful of Cake for PSP. Of course, don’t miss this week’s PlayStation Store Update’s later today.
We hope publishing the new content a couple of days earlier makes your week a little more enjoyable. See you next Tuesday!

Hope this means we get multiplatform games on the same week as the 360 gets them If we get them the week after then that is just a gigantic failure.
@59..i read on joystiq.com that it should be out “late may to early june”..sucks dont it :/ bad news for the Hello Game company is ModNation Racers is coming out next month..so i dont think many people are going to have them xtra 1o buks to purchase ANOTHER racing/play,create and share game.As for me..i MIGHT get both..just because i like the Trails/LBP style..hopefully everyone else does too
still should have released the mw2 maps today i was waiting all moth for them :(
This is huge. This is a huge psychological parity-maker for the XBOX 360. As a Rock Band player, I always hated the 360 folks getting the new DLC two days before me. It made me wish I had a 360, at least for two days each week. Now that envy is gone! Thanks!
I love the Tuesday switch, but how about an actual planned time to update the Store, instead of “Later Today”?
Any chance that the updates will get back to around noon Pacific instead of the 4-5 PM that they’ve been coming at for most of the past year?

Tuesday updates are a great idea and its really cool that you have some big releases for the first one. I don’t care about call of duty, but I’m excited for Fat Princess!
Its gonna be weird adjusting to the new day though, for the past couple of years I’ve been looking forward to Thursday updates, but I’ll get used to it.
Will multiplatform downloadable games be releases on Tuesday or do we have to wait week after because of Microsoft? Seems Rocket Knight Adventures HD is coming out later for some mysterious reason. Also why isn’t Raystorm HD coming to PSN for Western territories just like Outrun? We’re going 5 years into the console and PSN users are still getting the short end of the stick. I’ve given up hope on Playstation 1 games showing up along with the fact we’ve yet to see any Turbographic 16 stuff like Japan has been getting.
Definitely happy about the switch to thursdays.
It kinda sucked when other platforms got content and we were forced to wait a few days to get it.
This is one of the best decisions Sony has ever made regarding the PlayStation Network. I only expected this to happen for those signed up for a subscription service of sorts.
The fact that we now get updates faster than those silly baboons paying for Xbox Live is pretty awesome.

Good news too hear from the Playstation Store. You know, its bad enough we have to wait till this year’s E3 for the good content too come out. I just wished that Capcom would just bring back Mega Man X4, X5. and X6 to the Playstation Store
Thank you, Playstation team. The day change for the PSN was needed and I’m glad you’re now leading the other service. Some PSN customers may have been fine with the Thursday release, but the day after the other service gave the perception of lagging behind.
A PSN schedule change,to an earlier weekday, was one of my wishes for the platform. I’m happy to see that management considered the move and made it happen.

indifference . waiting from one thursday to the next is the same as waiting from one tuesday to the next , either case , its still weekly . which is just fine with me . just odd that somehow , some individuals see the diff , when the wait is no different .

i’m kinda upset i was told by everybody that thet mw2 stim package would be here a month after the 360 release and the april 29th gets here and i read the post sayin it wont be out till next week? why do people go say stuff is gonna come out on a certain day and then not do it? and if it was just rumors and they was plannin on releasin on the 4th then y cant playstation idk advertise so we know stuff xbox does it y cant playstation? i’m considerin gettin rid of my ps3 for a 360 like many of my friends have if the sony management cant start lettin us know whats goin on more its sad 360 players know more about whats goin on with live then we do about p.s. home/store. step it up sony i like my ps3 and like sony but your lettin us down with the small things like 360 splinter cell got a silence shotgun what do you get with the ps3 splinter cell? no silence shotgun we have no exclusives like that.

This is one of the smartest things yah have done in a long time. Will Home updates be on tuesdays too, don’t mind if its still on Thursdays. Keeps the entire week interesting.

the comic’s are moving as well? will the comics ever catch up to their release date? i suppose not. when i read 2000ad it announces upcoming events that are long over by the time i get to read about it. boo. they’re cheaper tho. yay. and when is monkey island being released?
