  • I would ask “Where is Tecmo Bowl Throwback”? but I know I will not get an answer from anyone at Sony. It’s funny how they pick and choose what comments they answer. I am 100% sure they won’t answer mine. This is just one more reason why the PS3 is 3rd in console sales behind the Wii and the 360. Another great job Sony!!!!

  • Crunch_Bandicoot

  • Tuesday updates was a long time coming. Tuesday, is, after all, the day that new DVDs and games are released to big box stores….tuesday should’ve been the PSN update day since day one of the video store! About darn time sony.

  • Sony fans should know by now that Sony will denounce all good ideas as impracticable, last generation, not needed, or not for hardcore games, and then 3 years later come up with the same idea and/or product and announce it is the greatest thing ever and totally their original idea.

  • STIMULUS STIMULUS YEAH

  • Good update. I can’t imagine why any PSP owner would have a problem with this update – Fat Princess and What Did I do to Deserve This 2 make this a 5 star update.

I must resist the sire call of my credit card.

    Must wait until payday.

    Grace, foul temptress, sweet seductress.

  • whats happenin with these maps sony ppl ??? dam error codes sort it out !!!! bad enuff havin to pay £10:99 for them nvr mind all the piss balling around !!

  • Note to Grace, Christina and the gang: I just bought, BOUGHT, a new-condition Blu-ray of “Men Who Stare At Goats” for US$ 11.00 total price, delivered. You’re “selling” the (limited, restricted, compressed, unmovable, unloanable) crappy SD version with no extras for $14.99.

I own the full 1080p, uncompressed video/audio, full-extras film for 11 bucks. I can watch it over and over, put it on any Blu-ray player I wish, take it with me anywhere I wish, loan it out and someday sell it if I wish. All for less money than the compressed, artifacted, PS3-locked standard-def version you’re peddling.

The video store is such a gigantic ripoff I can’t believe it lasted even a month. Who’s gullible enough to dump money into that thing?

  • @166

what if we dont like those games? fat princess does look tempting, but the fact that there is no demo (so we must judge out purchase from video/reviews) how will i know if im going to like it? paying 20$ for a game i might not even like is just plain stupid.

And i never liked What Did I do to Deserve 1 to me it was boring and slow, so whats going to make me want to buy its sequel?

So to me it was a bad update, ive been waiting since October to have some games released on the psn, and i hope Sony will get their act up to help the psp.

  • i’m kind disapointed…
I bought yesterday Socom, Socom DLC and Warhawks to play on my BOTH Playstation 3 with my son’s and daughter.
I read First the “24 hours” agreements and thinked that i have “24 hours” to install it on my TWO Playstation 3 to be able to “Activate” the games, and after this “24 hours” we’re unable to “Activate” it anymore.

so anyway i bought thoses games and now i can’t play with my kids online. I can’t even start the games to play “solo”.

so you’ll say to me: you have to read carefully before buying on PSN because Nothing is really “Clear” in the “Agreements”

it’s a fact i dint read it well, but now i want to buy a 2nd warhawks and Socom Copy on PSN on my account, but i can’t buy 2 times the same product!?!
My problem here is clearly not the Money, but the lack of “convenience”

i just bought a 50$ card yesterday + my 20$ balance on my account
I’ll not add money in my kids account, it as no sens at all!
I need My Money in My account.

Please Make a New Update, and Remove the “24 hours” agreements for Every Games on PSN or at least Warhawks and Socom…
    thanks in Advance

    Sincerly, Dumont Families

  • @169

I’m so old that I remember when we had to decide if we wanted to buy a game just from the box art and the screen caps on back. We didn’t have the internet to read reviews and we didn’t have any of these fancy demos. We just had to purchase and hope for the best.

$20 is a bargain for a game and not a large sum to risk on the possibility of Fat Princess being bad. Imagine if you shelled out $60 for the new Final Fantasy. Talk about being unhappy.

Of course you could just pony up $30 for Iron Man 2, I’m sure that game will be awesome. Movie tie-ins always are, right?

    right?

  • @171
Yeah i’m rembering good old days very well! xD
“buying game from the box art and the screen caps on back.” lol
I bought Final Fantasy 2 on SNES at 112$, Final Fantasy 7 on PS1 at 99$ for my birthday long, long time ago now. XDD

    @169
Fat Princess worth your 20$, if you ask a regular customer.

  • I appreciate the timing of the update. But can not access it as I have kept Linux. Some day I would like to spend my hard earned cash at the store but want to keep Linux too.

  • @172

I remember saving my money for a year to get Quest for the Rings for Odyssey 2. Box art promised so much, game delivered so little.

    @169
I totally get the frustration with the PSN. I would kill for Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions, Downstream Panic, and Crisis Core. I would also love to see discounts on Dissidia and Resistance: Retribution, and Persona.

Instead I have been forced to buy games I would never have considered – Tokobots, Pixeljunk Monster Deluxe, Patchwork Heroes – and I think I have been happier because of it.

  • @173
If you keep your “other OS” in case of ps3 hack
    you are just loosing time.
Because when the “full hack” will be available,
i’m pretty shure every console S/N will be “reversable” at any firmware you are anyway. (very similar to PSP)

But if you keep “other OS” cause you’r using BackTrack, Ok, you know what u’r doing ;)

    sincerly, a Linux user. :)

  • Can we get an update to the free avatars they are all so boring by now… plz Playstation

  • From another website good points made here about Tecmo Bowl Throwback.

People always give me the “bawww bawww bawww cry moar” when I complain about Sony and PSN, but every time I do get on my anti-PSN soapbox, it’s because Sony screwed something up yet again.

If Micro$oft got an exclusive deal on TBT, just tell us. Don’t feed us B.S., because that’s only going to piss us off even more. Sony also needs to streamline their PSN certification process (which right now takes over 2 weeks), which is why we don’t get almost daily PSN updates like 360 owners do on XBL.

PlayStation: It Only Does Everything, But It Doesn’t Do Anything Right.

  • alright playstation i dont know what is up with PS Store but i bought the MW2 pack and it wont download so if u can some how fix this plz and just send me an e;mail @ christionlankford@yahoo.com

  • WHERE IS TECMO BOWL THROWBACK? XBL IS BEATING UR BUTT

  • The Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package is awesome but it could be better if you can choose the game modes with the new maps not play what ever mode they give you that’s just my opinion.

And guys I would love to have on my PSP the Legend Of Dragoon playstation classic game, it would make me happy very happy to have it.

  • Had a little sympathy for some things but now idk, complain complain complain…oh please cater to me..lol, so spoiled..

  • lead and gold looks pretty good, i still am hoping for more solid ps one classics to be released. For example Vagrant story and xenogears would probably make quite a few people very happy!

  • CantaloupeKing
FFIX? what are you talking about? the only FF games in the making are FF13 verses(FF IIIV), FF14 online(FF XIV online), they passed the number 9 already, oh wait are you talking about them relising the ps1 version of FF9, if so thats funny 2 me since the only FFs i like is 10 an 13, an hopefully 13 verses an 14 online are good

  • Logitechor ya ya im laughing at all the idiots who can’t play games online or even go online because they can’t seem to let that stupid OS thing die, owell atleast i know ill never run into you on online games

  • Yawn!!!!!!

  • When is there gonna be an Iron man 2 demo

  • Pretty good update this week.

  • So I bought 2 Spring Deals from different weeks… but I got same item (Feet). Is there a way to get the separate parts?

  • Need some Political Themes, Like “DON’T TREAD ON ME” or The Constitution.

  • or a Dynamic saying Stay in the Country you hold your alliegence to.

  • Does any kind soul out there have any information about whether or not “Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Heros 3” will be available as a download, and if so when? The UMD version was out on May 10, 2010, but not available to buy until May 11, 2010. I prefer to download, but do not want to delay purchase of the UMD if the download isn’t available soon or never will be. Please help….

  • Where is the option for being able to text my friends when I’m not on my PS3?..Sony’s rules are so stupid..Change or forget you!..I’m not buying that 3D junk its a waste of money!..I really
think the fad will disappear by 2012!..Sony need’s to concentrate on Cross game Chat,More Custom Soundtracks and finally a longer ban list with friend list Oh gee that was so hard not!
