good idea on trying to get gamers to be more involved

  • Can you give us a hit to the game?

  • This game wouldn’t have the initials D.N. would it? :D

  • Haha, a ten hour, un-paid day, and you might not even be in the commercial?

Funny enough, I bet people are clamoring for this.

  • Lunch at least?

I’m vegetarian so make sure you have Graaaaaaaains! available.

  • You should at least give away a 5 pack of games of choice to the participants.

  • colstripcapn

I think I’d make a good zombine, too bad I live 3,120 miles away.

  • Dead Nation for the win?

  • I’m assuming I would have to live in the San Francisco area. You could have had a great zombie.

  • * sigh * why isn’t there a video game company in Florida that’s worth a damn besides EA ….

  • Is Dead Nation finally coming soon?

  • Please may it be a PS3 only game! We need more Exclusive games! What we got this year was great! Now finish it up with Resistance 3, A new Zombie horror game, and last but not least some more IPs!

  • Good luck to all!! to bad I live on the other coast. ZOMBIE9

  • Everything video game related is in California. East Coast gets NOTHING. LOL let me stop.

  • @14 Ubisoft is in Montreal…just drive up north a bit.

  • Even though it’s a non-paid opportunity, it’s a pretty cool opportunity to be in a game trailer and have your zombied-out face seen by millions haha.

Would lunch be provided? Coz parking ain’t cheap & MUNI prices are climbing these days… and 10 hours straight will make me hungryyyyy like a zombie.

    • David Bull

We wouldn’t keep you there for 10 hours and not feed you guys! And we’ll make sure that no matter what your eating preferences are, you’re covered.

  • AmericanNinja1

@ #2 the game is dead nation

  • Zombie Nation finally?!

  • BalramRules

    this lookz soooo kl! XD
*sigh* (I live in the UK) X(

  • It must be Dead Nation or is it a blueray game?

  • I just entered. =]

What about my first born child while you’re at it! LoL! Cool opportunity but not in my neighborhood here in lil old Rhode Island. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out though! :)

  • theNEONlobster

wow, i would totally take the time off work. i just can’t be bothered to take photographs of myself :P

  • The only thing more exciting than Dead Nation would be the next game from Japan Studio’s Siren team.

  • i hope its like dead rising or L4D

  • I sure hope this won’t be a humoristic game…

  • it would be so awesome to be in this commercial haha ima sign up XD

  • MaROCK_Mania

I hope its not Dead Nation. We need our own L4D!

  • I just sent multiple pics of me as a zombie! i hope im chosen!

  • Ahhh! Curse you SCEA & your Age restrictions on these things! im one year away. noooooo! My acting abilities could have been of some use to you. :(

  • We will get credit for being in this to add to my resume right?

    BRAINS!!!

  • JetSetFuture

Will any zombies be harmed during the making of this trailer? Zombies have rights, too!

  • bigdaddykraven

@JetSetFuture The right to have their head blown off with a sawed-off shotty :)

  • crazyredhead1432

    Please tell me it’s a full-fledged, $60, blue-ray bad ass zombie game!

  • omg id LOVE to do this :/ to bad they arent taking care of ur way there, if they did ID SOOO LOOOOOVE doing this!!! WHO CARES BOUT THE MONEY!!!!!!! ITS A GAME TRAILER FOR CRYING OUT LOUD~~~!!! T____T damn me for not being able to go :/

  • Wait, you’re not even going to hook up your extras with a copy of the game? Cheap, cheap, cheap.

  • This is a pretty smart way to get a bunch of free labor from fanatic gamers who don’t know any better. Extras on sets are usually paid around $100 a day — you’re definitely going to save a bunch of money on the making of this trailer. I feel a little sorry for the suckers who actually do it though.

  • Just to clarify – Is this a new, disc based game or “Dead Nation” for PSN?

    • David Bull

I can’t divulge that information just yet, Moti_D. You’ll have to keep your eyes on the blog to find out.

  • Demonhunter84

Cool but too bad I don’t live in San Fransico.

  • @37

Look up the definition of ‘fan’

  • ClearClover

I hope it’s a full retail game and not a PSN release.

Also I hope it’s a serious game, not humoristic, it can have it’s fair share of comic relief but please let it be actually scary and with a dark atmosphere, something like RE: Outbreak but much better.

But right now, all I’d like to know is, is it a full retail game or a PSN game?

  • NukeAtomrod

    Brrrraaaaaaaaaains.

  • Dude, if this is a full retail game then I’m all for it.
But if its a PSN title, I’m guessing its Dead Nation, then I’ll be disappointed just because it’ll be top down shooter like recent zombie games on PSN such as burn, zombie, burn or Zombie Apocalypse.

  • Crap, I live on the east coast.

I’m excited to see what the trailer is for though…

  • ClearClover

    @43

I agree, if it’s a retail game, I’ll more than likely get it. If it’s a PSN game, I’m sorry but I’ll probably pass on it.

  • CaNNibiSJutsu

Man its 12 hour drive….but id do it lol….

  • :/ im on the east coast

  • gameplayer20

Thats cool.Playstation need more zombie games.

  • I have a feeling this is going to be a commercial for Dead Rising 2. As it’s going to be emphasised on the PS3 more so than the Xbox 360. I mean let’s face it Microsoft whored the crap out of FFXIII for the 360. Dead Rising 2 comes out this year, so it’s only natural that it’s the first time DR will appear on a Sony platform. I’m going to sit on this and make DR2 my prediction.

  • DeforMAKulizer

Dare i say… Is this game Until Dawn?
I remember i read your trademark on a game that requires a community or a big network, and from the name “Until Dawn” i got a vibe that its a zombie game… I sure hope!!
