Qore Episode 24 – Featuring Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, LittleBigPlanet 2, PlayStation Home, and Jens Pulver

71 0

The Prince of Persia is everywhere! Along with a major motion picture from the same team that brought us Pirates of the Caribbean, the character will be appearing in a graphic novel and a new videogame set in the time frame between The Sands of Time and Warrior Within. Audrey Cleo spoke with the developers at Ubisoft to learn more about the new gameplay mechanics, while Veronica Belmont explores Wondercon 2010 to catch up with actor Jake Gyllenhaal. There’s also a preview of the graphic novel in the Qore digital gallery.

Qore also provides an early look at the just-announced LittleBigPlanet 2! The team visited Media Molecule in the UK to understand how the creativity of the community inspired them to push the boundaries in the sequel to transform the platform game into a platform for games.

There have been thousands of improvements and additions to PlayStation Home since Qore first visited back in 2008. Veronica sits down with PlayStation Home Director Jack Buser to discuss his favorites, including the upcoming midway space… and Producer Katherine de Leon reveals an upcoming new space with a steampunk aesthetic.

Fans of mixed martial arts will know the name Jens Pulver— the first UFC lightweight champion. He’s a serious gamer and his character is also exclusive in the PS3 version of UFC Undisputed 2010. So, Audrey Cleo met up with the legend at his new training facility in Boise, Idaho and actually jumps into the cage with “Lil Evil.”

Qore’s download center is full of goodies this month for both subscribers and single-episode purchasers. There’s an exclusive Qore trucker’s cap for PlayStation Home. It’s the perfect companion to last year’s Qore T-shirts (which, if you missed them, are also part of this episode by popular demand). Download them through Qore and then enter your Home wardrobe to check out your new threads.

Also, in celebration of the LittleBigPlanet 2 preview feature, there’s also a Qore exclusive cap for use in the original game. And finally, everybody can download the Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands theme.

Look for Episode 24 later today when PlayStation Store updates.

And this Thursday, May 13, meet Veronica Belmont and Audrey Cleo in PlayStation Home at 9 PM EDT in the Qore Theater. They’re bringing outtakes from this month’s episode and answers to your questions.

  • Can we please get more digital downloads that we all want like in year 1? Maybe some PSone Classics?? Or some more early access to demo’s??

  • WOOT WOOT for Playstation Home! Glad oo get a new hat to match my QORE shirt. :P

  • Hats…for…Home…

Wheres the quality last year had???

  • This will be the last episode of my annual Qore subscription. Good riddance.

  • all the mad kids and pedos about home and it’s social network

  • I wonder if Sony gutted Quore with the intention of retiring it as a standalone subscription, and will instead roll it over under the “Premium Service”. It doesn’t make sense to offer Quore separately, if the premium service is going to have some of the same “bonuses” (e.g. betas). It’d give the “Premium Service” perceived added value (at least for some).

  • ProjectInfiniti

It’s in the download history now and it’s 1.7GB of videos. I could care less about clothing to wear just to dance it the middle of an area in pedoville…. i mean…. PlayStation Home.

It’s like I paid $50 for 2 years just to look at Veronica and a bit of Audrey nowadays >:(

  • just started to get Qore from Jan.
i was excited cause i saw that last year they had about 4 betas, early demos, and free psone classics almost all the time!!!
the year is almost half way over and all we’ve gotten was a cool FFXIII video and God of war demo(just barely be4 it came out)
i think i speak for all yearly purchasers, when i say “give us things, make us want it next year… cause if my subscription ended after this month, i would not waste another $25.”
so please change this and make me want 2011 Qore!!!!!

  • thats soooo kewl, i already have a qore tshirt and now i get cap for qore home outfit! thanks SONY!

  • Wow my Qore subscription ends in September and it has been a waste. I seen all those games and betas people got the first year and all i keep getting are stupid themes. I got 3 betas and i played 2 betas for like 2 days only. Now stupid home items. What we going to wear the Qore hat saying hey everybody look at us we’re suckers for subscribing to Qore.

  • ArmyOf12Monkeys

The value of Qore has been significantly reduced over the last several months, not that Sony cares but I won’t be renewing my subscription.

  • Steampunk game/area in Home sounds and looks amazing.
Any news if PS3 Home will be at http://www.SteampunkWorldsFair.com ?

  • I only downloaded this for the LBP Cap! xD

  • qore is a waste of bandwidth and space.. im with everyone else, i will not be renewing my subscription come July.. i will try and pay for something if it’s good, but with qore lesson learned.

you’re better off subscribing to a ps3 monthly magazine, which will have a broad array of game/previews/etc.

Sony: we aren’t asking for free games every month, but come on, at least toss in early demo access to some games even if it’s every other qore episode.. is that asking for too much?

  • @19 I dont give a flip about PSP Playstation suzorx Poop

go to hades konami. release a patch for MGS4 trophies, that would make good core content

    qore rawks. I love Qore.

  • Sooooo… how do u get lbp quore hat???

  • SOOOO HOW DO U GET CAP.. I should probably read the stuf above right???

  • Do I have to download somethin? Can anyone help

  • How do u subsribe
