well i guess the psone game will work for the time being, and yes it was a greatest hits game, but you need to start actually putting more legitimate classics onto the store. as for the people saying we have no right to complain… well that is where you are wrong in the worst way imagineable. we have something in this country called the bill of rights, and we also have something called the united states military with which to back up the bill of rights and all the other great legal documents of this country. and i absolutely have every right to complain about them wasting my time when i have spent so much money on their company over the last 15 years, especially since i was a united states marine during the first gulf war in 1990-1991.
if sony wants to hold the right to screw the consumers over then we as consumers have the right to gripe and complain all we want!

PSP Go needs more support – we need to see some of the classic UMD games come to the network. Like Crisis Core, FF Tactics War of the Lions, and yes, FF IX please!

Do you play games? I’m pretty sure that’s what 99% of us bought our consoles for, not LastFM or Hulu (which doesn’t work/isn’t supported in Canada ANYWAYS, along with Netflix). Useless add-ons, dead out of the water in most of the world. At least the web browser is region free.

Nevermind Hulu, go support Alan Wake. Judging by its lacklustre sales and underwhelming critical response, 360 needs to worry more about getting some AAA exclusives out there and less about Twitter and knowing when I flushed my toilet, lol.

seriously what´s happening to you?, i have been waiting for too long to see vagrant history and now ff 9, when will you release both games? i can’t believe the crappy EU store gets those games, wasn´t suposed the US store to be the best store?

There’s only one new game for the PSP… I wish Pac-Man Champion Edition would come out already. And the PSone Classics should have FFIX and Capcom vs SNK: Pro. I have to keep waiting….

i just want to point out that everyone complaining about the backbreaker demo not being released…just watch IGN’s review, they gave it a 5.0 out of 10…Madden’s still the king of football games

The past 2 weeks have been terrible updates honestly, Where is Final Fantasy 9, The game is a complete master piece, Yet you give us trash like RDR dlc, and N2O Nitrous Oxide, like what are you guys waiting for? To release the damn game and send us all a damn cake with the game?

I would really like to see some better PSone classics. Most of the ones recently released on here are garbage I’ve never heard of and have no interest in. Some actual classics could include the following:

Anything FF
Breath of Fire 1-4
Parasite Eve
Dino Crisis
Chrono Cross
VAGRANT STORY (I would really appreciate an explanation as to why we haven’t seen this yet. It was released in Europe sooo long ago. Why not in NA?)

Also, I know its unlikely to happen but it would be awesome to see some psp titles become playable on the PS3 and possibly released over psn. I will probably never buy a psp but a few of its games would be great additions to the PS3’s online library:
the metal gears
The NEW Final Fantasy Tactics
Crimson Gem Saga

Just giving you guys some ideas to get my dollars!
mull it over

I’m also disappointed by FFIX not being released. I was going to buy it as I thought for sure it’d be on there after Europe got it last week.

Oh well, I still have a bit to go on FFVIII so hopefully FFIX comes out while my brain is still in Final Fantasy replay mode.

I’d really like to get FFIX next week before I spend twelve hours on a plane. :| And I’m really curious as to what the hold up is for the American market.

Nice PSP price drops! Well excecpt for getting my hopes up, making me think that we were actually getting Midway arcade Treasures extended play on the psn. I need more than just Mortal Kombat Deception to fullfill my MK fix. More of an old school MK fan sooooo….how about releasing Mortal Kombat Trilogy as a PS1 classic? please? lol

Now most of the PSP games on PSN are at prices that I’ve seen the physical versions in stores for, for years.

Way to go. This is why I think the Go is pointless. Why be forced to wait forever for something to drop in price, when the physical version is all around you for a reasonable price.

xXKameleon9Xx said:

Aaah… release Gran Turismo or NFS PSOne games already.

Though, it’s really nice to see GTPSP’s price drop and the continued PSOne game support. :D

My list of ps1 classics I’d like to see on the psn in the near future……..Gran Turismo 2, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, NBA Jam T.E, WWF WrestleMania The Arcade Game, Dino Crisis 2, Mortal Kombat 4, Need for Speed 1, Marval vs Capcom, Bushido Blade 1 & 2, Loaded……..I could go on to name more great games but this is a good start and better than what you have been giving us lately. These would be day one buys for me…all of them. Please consider that not all of us are RPG fans.

Hey everyone. I just found out the REAL release date for Final Fantasy IX (FFIX)!!! *drum roll* !!!NEVER!!! The “big wigs” at Playstation are sitting on their hands and not releasing FFIX to the U.S.! Well… at least that’s what I think is going on. How else would you explain the LONG LONG LONG wait for FFIX?? I’m telling you, everyone. Don’t hold your breath. We aren’t getting FFIX anytime soon. I’ve just about given up waiting for a game that was release MONTHS ago in both Japan and Europe. Take it from me, move on and just play other RPGs… FFIX isn’t coming.

Come on Playstation lets cut to da chase, Final Fantasy 9 is what majority of the ppl are complaining for so release it. Im not saying forget the other ppls opinions but u could make good money from ff9 being sold again.

i just got this off the top of my head. its slightly related to the playstation store. i was hinking that you could somehow make a free program that players can download to make their own custom avatars so that they would be even more individual!

but this is just a thought :)

transce said:

It is about time that you stopped punishing PSP Go users with full priced download-games. A download-game has $0 materials or shipping costs, $0 resale value for the consumer, a less valuable product in all respects. So why do you insist on pricing new games $39.99? Up until this price drop, you could purchase Resistance: Retribution for less than $20 including shipping on Amazon. But if I wanted to play the same game on my PSP Go, it would cost $39.99 and be of lesser value than the cheaper UMD. This is why, as badly as I wanted it, I have boycotted the downloads of LBP, Resistance Retribution, and Gran Turismo up until now. I will continue to boycott any PSP games that are released on the PS Store at $39.99 and I will encourage as many people as I can to follow suit. I will be buying LBP for my Go today and even though the price is reduced now, I’m painfully aware that it’s still the same price as the more valuable UMD.

Zidane, Vivi, Steiner, Garnet, Amarant, Freya, Quina, and Eiko are

ashamed of their value being underappreciated by the PSN staff,

they feel they have battled Kuja and Queen Brahne to the best of

their abilities and deserve their just reward of fame on the PSN

Store. Shame on you for depriving these poor souls, and let the
