Over at camp Media Molecule…LittleBigPlanet 2 has just passed “Alpha”! Yay! And while we still have a ton of work to do, we’re that much closer to release and we’re ready to announce some news you’ve all been waiting, so on behalf of our retail partners and our friends at Disney…here we go…
First things first…“When is LittleBigPlanet 2 coming out?” – You’ll be pleased to know we’re on schedule to have LBP2 out in stores on November 16th, just in time for the holidays. So whether you plan to be there on Day 1 or need to put it on your big holiday ‘wishlist’, rest assured, LBP2 will be here soon.
Next item on the list…”Will there be any pre-order items?” – We’re glad you asked! YES, we have several exciting pre-order offers through several retail partners. Each pre-order consists of 2 parts – a very special costume offer from our partners @ Disney / Pixar and Insomniac; and 4 new “Even More Animals” costumes. Im sure excited about this game, but why didnt you guys just put all the costumes in each pre-ordered game. I was kind of turned off that you only the animals and 1 or 2 exclusives. It seems that we now buy less for more.
I hope the collector’s edition pre-order release date comes soon..and all of those fabulous goodies will be available with it!

Ooooh cant wait, you made me happy now Media Molecule, and sony of course. ^^ The adventures will be great, but im really hoping that i can get into the beta for LittleBigPlanet2… i missed out on the water beta AND the beta for the original LittleBigPlanet… hmm, oh well i have the game and the water pack. And when the second one is out, i will have all of the above. Great work as of what ive seen so far in the trailers!

Pfft, I dont care about the DLC’s at the moment, all I wanna know if the Collector’s Edition will be available in Canada and at what retailors. Once that info is handed out(if it is) then i will preorder the first second i see Canada is having it. Looks awesome! Also, do you plan to make a LBP2 for PSP (If yes, when would it approx come out?)? I really hope you do because it looks like the best game ever! And if it does come out for PSP will you do the same collectors edition (or atleast similar) for it? I’m sure it would make a lot of people happy aswell as me! I’m definately pre-ordering LBP2 Collector’s Edition. I was just gonna pre-order the game on Amazon.com for the Ratchet and Clank stuff, but I love Jak and Daxter, too! The extra $10-$15 bucks is worth it if I get to have it before most of my friends! :D
