hey anyone get a chain mail from PSN claiming that they’re cleaning up unactive accounts and if you dont send the letter on to 15 -20 people your account will be deleted and will exp. data loss…i know this letter is B.S. but could it be viral?
Hey, Jimmyhoffa82, I guess you’re more than likely correct that there is unscheduled maintenance; however, an official response from them would not go amiss… I mean, how hard is it for someone to type someting up for us?
@All – PSN seems to be back up now, it’s working here in Hong Kong, at least.
Hi Sid,
Any chance that Sony can add a link to the bottom of error messages that jumps to a PSN status page?
I know PSN is free and everything, but when I got the cryptic error message I didn’t have a clue what the problem was. Was it my password? Router? ISP? PSN?
A unified PSN status page shouldn’t be that hard to implement, please suggest to the powers-that-be to seriously look into it, because the lack of communication is embarrassing.
Nothing to report,we haven’t heard anything on that yet,we’ll look into it,no news yet, post it to blog share! Did i leave anything out or do i have what it takes to work for sony.
I was wondering why we havent seen a post yet about the earth shattering announcement that mass effect 2 is coming to the ps3. This is a huge deal and I assumed that would be one of the first things posted on here after gamescom, you guys need to get ray and bioware in here so that they can explain more in detail how they plan to bring the entire mass effect experience to the ps3, as in how they plan to introduce newcomers to the series, dlc plans and how they plan to allow players to shape their own character prior to playing mass effect 2. Please get them on here soon!

I agree with B1MBLE put something out there that states what’s going on. Can’t be that hard!!

Yeah, this is a good idea. I know we’re investigating getting the little “PSN status” light from the EU Blog onto the US side soon.
