another week, another set of decent content, and another set of whiny malcontents who can’t handle the fact that sony won’t/can’t hand out $50 worth of freebies to PS+ users EVER WEEK.
I’m glad we got a shank demo. that game looks pretty wicked and I hate blindly dropping $15 on a game i’ve never played.
Just an idea, but how about a 10% (or more, hehe) discount for PS+ users who buy a game on the day of, or week of, release? that would go a long way towards shutting up the whiners.
Wow, I wanted to try Shank tonight but I’m reconsidering…Shank is pretty big…and the trial is the full game locked so still 2 GB, it shows that devs are not that great at thinking about efficiency, some will just DL the demo for now, maybe they’ll not buy, but still, it’ll take a lot of time to DL and a lot of bandwich on Sony side too…
I have a good Internet connexion and all but I just look at bandwich like consomation of any form of product, electricty and all that…I know, for some of you, I’m weird. But I work on the Internet and am just more ware than a lot of people about that…things like how YouTube is slowing the whole Internet, worst, people that sens video IN emails instead of a link to 20 people when just 2 or 3 of them will acutally open it, it must still travel to each person…shish…

To use the MAG beta, you need to have a copy of MAG in your PS3. It really should be said since I doubt everyone here has a copy of MAG.

I concur with OleGunnar. When will we get the Demons Souls dynamic theme??? Just say “never” if never. I also would like to add that PS+ has been underwhelming. Despite how it’s being marketed it is NOT for hardcore gamers or Sony loyalists. We have all these old [DELETED] games you give us (free and trials) or we knew we didn’t want them a year ago (red faction I’m looking at you). I hope, hope, hope it will be worth fifty bucks by years end. So far I’ve spent fifty, but gotten about $3 worth of value in the past 3 months. —-rant over.
I heard that the dead zombie game was in beta and i’m a ps plus subscriber and they claim that ps plus subscribers are suppose to get BETAS yet I haven’t seen NOTHING WHERE ARE THE BEATS THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. IT even says it in the site Priority Beta Invitations? TO WHAT

Thanks for Mushroom Wars. PS+ still needs a lot more compelling features and content. I’ll say it again if “premium content” is going to be the bread and butter of PS+ there needs to be more quality content or you need to start working on better features, it’s really kind of aggravating.

I totally agree and am now very disappointed with Plus. It’s actually been six weeks since the last dynamic themes and avatars. I thought for sure they would add them today but no. Sony is not delivering on the outlined content promises.

again, about PS+, It will get better in time. like I said before I’ll bet you my entire money in my account that Xbox Live Had these exact same Problems its first two months, so be patient, everybody, it will get better in time. every single subscription service that’s come along in the internet age has had its growing pains and PS+ is no expection.

well no psone games this week, but i can at least be thankful for the guitar hero downloads that came out, especially since megadeth was my most favorite metal band back during the 80’s and eaqrly 90’s. but we still need some timetables from you guys on the psone classics. please start keeping us in the loop on those.
Shank looked nice, but not for 15$. PS+ content could be better(tired of them putting stuff that every 1 has already). Wish theyd release the demo prior to the games release and not the same day >.>

No wonder people are lining up in a virtual line to get their hands on the soon to be released PS3 mod device.

Ahem… another week, another disappointment.
Today, it only seems like a few users are fed up with the lack of “service” the PS+ subscription provides… but if you continue with these lackluster updates where subscribers are not given what they were promised, the rest of your “loyal” PS+ subscriber base will become furious as well.
I’m placing a “date-of-death” for the PS+ service. If PS+ continues on this path of poisoning their subscription community, it will be dead as of August 2011.
Mark my words.

Agree with fodawin: the TerRover demo already available via last issue of Qore – free to Plus members – is 0 Plus member advantage this week. Overall PS3 updates seem ok but PSP updates are lacking.
