I recall a game from a demo disk a looong time ago that involved driving a small robotic body around, with loose whippy arms and you’d drive around and try to snap up all the little mischievous kittens running amok… Anyone know what that’s called? I’d like to see that one pop up sometime!
Nevermind. Just read that the Sonic Adventure demo was delayed so Sega could trick people into buying a downgraded version of Sonic Adventure and then milk people again with the Sonic Adventure DX DLC.

K yeah I’d love to know how it’s even possible that the JPN PSN store gets the BlazBlue DLC but nobody else does. How does that even happen? Another small complaint, why did you release a firmware update right before the PSN store update? That’s kinda obnoxious.
Please help! I downloaded the firmware update and now my 160(“Fat”)PS3 will not pick up my 1080p Sony Bravia LCD TV HDMI signal. I switch to HDMI(1) just like I always have and nothing, no signal. I go to video and go to Display settings and try to set up the settings for HDMI/1080p and it doesn’t let me, as if it is saying that my 1080p tv doesn’t support 1080p?!
Is anyone else having a similar problem? Please help. Since the update my PS3 will not support 1080p?!

It usually happens when you use it too many times at once.Ii happened to me about 3 weeks ago,I purchased some DLC but instaed of adding alot of cash to my account I bought it all one item at a time, after the 5th purcahse it wouldnt let me add funds to my wallet.

This is obviously not Aksys’ fault considering they’re the publisher, they have nothing to do with development, and Arcsys has not control over whether or not people release the DLC on time. Obviously nothing is wrong with the DLC itself or anything on Aksys / Arcsys’ side because people HAVE this DLC already. It is AVAILABLE, just of course only to half of the people who want it for no apparent reason.
PlayMemories – Not sure if this has been posted but the ‘import’ function of the app MOVES your pictures rather than just copying them…something you might like to know before you start the process.

Actually, it could very well be an issue with Aksys specifically because they are the publisher. ASW publishes the game themselves in Japan (where the DLC has already been released), but in America they have to go through Aksys.
I highly doubt they aren’t involved in release schedules, whatever they may be for.
If it’s not a problem at Aksys, then the fault lies with Sony; but as it stands, Aksys is the more likely culprit.

It’s somewhat logical to say that, but at the same time then why would it be on the JP store when Aksys has to do whatever ASW says anyway? Aksys wouldn’t get away with not letting Valk on the US PSN when ASW puts him on the JP store, that makes no sense. That wouldn’t be the kind of decision Aksys would be allowed to make on their own.
Blade Kitten seemed cool, but it’s over priced in my opinion. Swords and Soldiers is awesome but I have the feeling it’s missing something and that irks me. It feels like a Minis game that got bloated into thinking it was good enough to cost full PSN price $10 or more. No Move support as someone else pointed out?
Please bring Dodonpachi and all those great shmups to the PSN import store. ^_______^

All I can say is I better not have to wait until next week to get something half of the other people I’ll be playing the game with have already. I’m praying that he’ll be on the store after all the maintenance tomorrow, even though I know it’s unlikely.

Not necessarily, back when Calamity Trigger was just released, the first DLC color packs were delayed for the US Playstation Store as well. Granted, color packs and full characters aren’t exactly the same thing, but the principal remains the same.

The principle hardly remains the same when the obvious severity of the punctuality of an update like a full blown character is so blatant. Nobody cares if colors are delayed, but ASW and Aksys of all people should know how much of a cripple this is to all the players outside of Japan.

Well, he principal does appear to be considered the same to someone responsible for whether or not things get released given the fact that Valkenhayn wasn’t released in the US Playstation Store.
Honestly, Aksys would be the first person to go to before blaming Sony for it.

This was a great update, regardless what some might think. Updates like these keep me interested even more in the PS brand. Imports? Hell yes!!This is what type of stuff i want to see in the store.
