It’s Gabe Graziani, your Community Developer on Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, back this week to announce that the Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Beta is in full swing! This Beta is exclusive to PlayStation 3 and available to PlayStation Plus members, as well as those who pre-ordered from participating retailers.
If you are playing in the Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Beta, I invite you to submit your feedback on our forums.
The Brotherhood Diaries
Surely you have seen our series of developer diaries called Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Diaries. Well, we are planning on releasing another episode this week that you won’t want to miss. Entitled “The Perfect Nemesis,” this new instalment in the Brotherhood Diaries discusses the increasing hostilities between Ezio and Cesare Borgia. Powerful, ruthless and well-defended, Cesare Borgia wields tremendous might as the ersatz ruler of Rome. Cesare may even have swayed some of Ezio’s former allies to his side!
Fear not, dedicated Assassins, because Ezio has some new tricks up his sleeve as well!

I’m not sure whats going on here. I signed up for PS+ to get into these betas that was mentioned on https://blog.playstation.com/2010/09/22/coming-to-playstation-plus-assassins-creed-brotherhood-beta-and-automatic-downloads-for-lara-croft-and-the-guardian-of-light-and-alien-breed-impact-demos/ Nowhere on the blog post did it mention that only a few users would get access. I wish you guys would just be honest and return my money for 3 months of PS+
I remember seeing a thread on the PS forums a while ago where many of us PSN members were not receiving e-mails from PlayStation.
Has that been fixed? Because I don’t get any more e-mails, but I see my brother checking his inbox sometimes and there always are many e-mails from PS.
I checked my Preferences under Account Management and both boxes are checked. I tried unchecking and checking them back, but no success. :(

Really? i’m not a PS + member and i don’t care about this beta,BUT the sad part is , a LOT of PS+ members are out of the beta program.
Finally i’m happy with my 50 bucks in my pocket, aiming for a REAL, COMPLETE GAME.

I paid 50 dollars for playstation plus pretty much so I can get into these betas. And I haven’t received one beta invite yet. And all the EU plus members get in and we dont? Playstation you guys have seriously messed up this time.
i like how i bought ps plus day one the one year plus 3 month extra and havent got a beta for this ive been in almost every single beta that their is, all the way from qore betas to the sony home private beta but the one beta i wont i havent got yet, hell i even got a platinum on the AC2 but hey naw that dont show that i love the franshise right, only took forever to find all the feathers!
I have pre-ordered and and PS+ member, yet have no access to the Beta.
Why are Sony and Ubi trying to scam us here? You guys deserve to burn in the pit for taking advantage of us like this. This whole Beta BS is past annoying. Its infuriating.

So, I just made an account for the European store so I could download the C:LOS demo, and I see the AC:B beta right there under PS+. Why is it they have it but the American store doesn’t have it?
Stupid question but I’m asking it anyway – are we contacted via normal email or via a message on our PS3 if we are invited to the beta? I normally only check my PS3 messages every few months to delete the spam.

I love it how everyone is jumping to conclusions. Wait till the store updates around 6-7pm EST and then download it from the PS+ section. Thats how it works in Europe, so thats how its going to work in NA. Just be patient.

I just have to go all out on this one. As a PS+ member myself I feel PS+ is the biggest RIP OFF there ever was. From the E3 2010 keynote it stated PS+ members will get access to betas, etc. It did NOT say some of the PS+ members. This is just another example of Sony suckering people in ( yes, like me) to get their hard earned cash and in return get what ….. a free avatar (wow), or a discounted price on a crappy game (awesome). I realize there are people who have gotten their $ worth from PS+, and I am happy for you. At least some feel it is worth it. However, I believe there are many who are disatisfied with the subscription and how extremely lame it has become. Again, I will state :

If it’s for select then I’d rather not read “This Beta is exclusive to PlayStation 3 and available to PlayStation Plus members” at the start of your article cause that’d be kinda misleading.

Hi Scea speaking as one of the biggest playstation fans out there ever. No seriously I have followed your company since when Nintendo and you were codeveloping an add on for the SNES. I am extremely disappointed right now. I signed up for plus knowing full well that it would not be worth it initially. Feeling as if the 3 months free was their way of saying thats how long it will take to get this off the ground and in motion. Well we are paying for this premium subscription now that should be giving you the money you need to update the servers, provide more content then usual, and expand plus. I hope its happening I really do, because the business policies regarding plus and anything and everything around it are completely unacceptable as of late. You offer a premium subscription and respond to less then 0.1% of questions directed at you.
This is not the way you guys and gals should be doing things, and I am extremely disappointed, I really hope you guys plan on improving your customer service department soon cause this is bordering on me questioning the ethics and morality of a company that at one point in time was my favorite company in the entertainment industry.
Please respond to the queries people are directing at you Sony this is a real slap in the face to your loyal fans.
I got into the Red Faction BETA last night, and had the Dead Nation BETA as well. I have never got into the Assassins Creed franchise, but I’d like to start… if this BETA is in fact going to be available to all PS+ users.

Do you know something we don’t? Because the official e-mail from Sony US said that anybody who ordered the 1-year subscription was “guaranteed” (their words) a spot in the beta and that they would be sending out download vouchers (again, their words). But a previous post said only “select” Plus members (yet again, their words) would be allowed. So people at either Sony or Ubisoft (and maybe both) is misinforming or lying to PS+ members. The refusal of anyone at Ubisoft or Sony to answer this is infuriating.

Then Sony lied to members of their e-mail listserv and should refund any PS+ members that want out because they signed up after being told otherwise.
From the e-mail (emphasis mine): “Buy the 12-month Playstation Plus package by October 3 and get a VOUCHER CODE to participate in the Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Beta.
THE ONLY WAY TO GUARANTEE your invite to the Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Beta is to go to the Playstation Store and purchase a one-year subscription to Playstation Plus. It’s worth it.”
No one said that you will get an email with a code if you are PS +. The beta might just be on the PS store, just like it was for the EU store.

How many of us PSN+ users gotta be screwed over till they actually do something for us. I signed up as soon as it came out haven’t gotten any betas at all. I’m starting to think I’m not gonna renew.

The beta will not be “in the store” because then it would be available for all to get. Yes, YOU saw it in the store because it was available to all users of Europe!

So they advertised that PS+ was supposed to give you free access to the betas when they come out, then they turn around and only offer it to select PS+ members. Thanks Sony. I have yet to get ANY value from this terrible service. What a load of crap.

I signed up to Playstation Plus thinking I’d be receiving special deals and content worth downloading. Instead, I literally flushed down a 3 month’s subscription into the toilet.
This is one of the few things that has interested me since I started using PS+, and now I hear there’s a good chance I wont be getting in.
Seriously, Sony. I’m a 25 year old gamer who has purchased and enjoyed your systems since you first started making them. This model you have set up is clearly not working, and I feel like I’m getting shafted. Perhaps some compensation to the paying members for starting off “a bit shaky”?
Either way, I will be cancelling my subscription when the time comes.

Ok, well I am a PS Plus subscriber, and I am looking at the PS Store right now, and there is NO Assasins Creed Brotherhood Beta anywhere?
And even more importantly, in your blurb I copy and pasted, you did not say, Exclusive to Playstation 3 and “SOME or a FEW -Playstation Plus Members”…..
So I FULLY expect to download the AC2 BH Beta as soon as it appears in the PS + Section!
