I wanted to stop by and give you an update about what’s been going on over the last couple of months. You may remember the live-action trailer that we revealed during GamesCom to formally announce Resistance 3. We’re very excited to reveal that we will be following that up with a new trailer, premiering exclusively during the Spike Video Game Awards (Saturday, December 11th in the States, check your local listings for time and network if you’re outside the US).
The trailer continues the live action experience, showing live-action snippets of three moments in the game, while also bringing you your first glimpse of actual gameplay from Resistance 3. Check out a teaser for the trailer below:

PLS PLS PLS! u have a lot of time to do it so pls…. 4 players co-op campaign??? if not, how about allowing lan party??? u know what i mean right? ill explain just in case bc it seems that all developers are forgetting about this….
i have a ps3, my friend have a ps3…. we connect our ps3s via lan cable…. we can play 4 vs 4 split screen in 2 tvs…. get the idea? thats a awesome way to do a party with friends and have a great fun night! hope my comment reach ur souls!

Resistance is absolutely my favorite franchise this gen. Can’t wait to continue the story.

Can’t wait for this game. Hopefully its more like Resistance 1 then 2. I liked 2 because I’m a graphics and physics whore, but it was almost too bright to really give me that feeling like “Oh s—, the world is going to hell.”
I loved the first game and its co-op. It had better co-op then R2 did. However R2 had much better multiplayer with NO lag. That was good.
Hopefully the weapon wheel is brought back. Not very realistic, but it felt more fun that way. Maybe some tweeks to the sprinting speed too. Felt a little slow.
Overall though, this game is a definite pre-order. Looking forward to some gameplay though. Live action is usually used by companies that suck at making cut scenes. But I have faith Insomniac, you’ve never let me down before when it comes to sick cut scenes (Leviathan :P).
Are you going to add splitscreen campaign? I was disappointed about R2.
can I just ask, will the single player campaign for resistance 3 be longer than the other two or the same, because i found the first two to be a little short.
the weapon is wheel and single player coop is back, its on youtube if you want the details. I personally think this a good choice and the graphics for this (from what I saw on the game informer magazines) look pretty legit. Either way this game is going to be awesome. Keep it up Insomniac, I love what your doing. Gonna get the Collectors edition for this for sure.
could you guys make it MOVE compatible so the hardcore gamers could be in the game and not out and it wouldn’t collect dust (plzzz, never know you guys could make more money $$$ lol).

God, I remember playing Online Coop at R2 and also San Fransisco Online what a beauty… Can’t wait to see new stuff in that game it’s going to kick asses!
