I got in the DCUO beta last week and its awesome, but it’s a 15GB download. It took 5 hrs to download and install at a 2 mega byte, not bit, per second download speed. Have fun if your connection is sub par. May want to do this overnight.

I been playing the beta for almost a week now i think. Im telling you theres a lot of issues in the game, but that is what a beta is for.
FYI PPL: when you start the game you will have to download a big file. As the files are downloading a green bar will slowly start to fill over top the white bar. You will also see a yellow flashing line on the end of the green bar. If that yellow line stops flashing, the update has stalled and you need to reset the ps3 and the downloading will pick up where it left off.
If you dont pay attention to the download every now and then you will wonder why its taking hours and hours to download.

a PS3 game that’s almost 3 years old, at 30$.
All in all, this update is pretty weak in content. Which is surprising since we’re so close to christmas. And there’s only 2 weeks left before the last update of the year and that they won’t reupdate until after the 2nd week of January if it’s anything like last year.
As a note, last year’s final update for Europe was Vagrant Story, we got the AWESOME (not) Wing Commander 4 for PS1…. 1 year later, we still didn’t get Vagrant Story, yet Europe got Front Mission 3… so yeah, some people have the right to be annoyed by the lack of communication from the SCEA team on these blogs. Just look at the european blog, at least THEY ANSWER THE COMMENTS!
Awesome update! DCUOL, Prototype, and I might try Prince of Persia. Two suggestions, though: Scott Pilgrim avatars would be awesome and where’s Birth by Sleep for PSP Go owners? What gives?

But what he is doing is expressing his opinion. You may think this is the “Greatest Update Ever”, but you need to realize that other people have different opinions.
On the Psp-side this is a bad update as nothing new was added despite the TON of games that are on the psp that are only available on UMD only. its not fair for Go users (like myself) to always be waiting every tuesday. only to get shafted with no new games.
Heck im still waiting On Crisis Core to be release on the psn. I dont understand the hold up on it as it was a greatest hits game (which means it earned a lot of money) So Sony/Square Enix should know its going to sell a lot, but they are choosing to ignore us for some reason.

Ive played quite a few “Beta” games that allowed you to save characters for when the game gets officially released.
So there are some beta’s that do that, just not this one i guess.

Square Enix said “Hell NO!” on a digital release of Kingdom Hearts, so quit complaining on the Sony sight. The decision to release a digital copy for retail on the PSN is the publishers decision.

Just wanted to say I’m really disappointed in the price for Prototype. I know it’s Activision’s price and not your fault, but you had a good thing going with quality games at a good price. Tomb Raider Underworld for $15 was an EXCELLENT buy.
Well I was planning on buying Prototype today but after seeing the ridiculous price for a 2 year old game that doesn’t come with a disc, case, or manual I’m going to have to pass. There are probably a lot more people out there like me. Activision probably would have made more money off of this had they priced it $10-$15 cheaper.

You got had on the PSP Go , brother. I’d be livid if I’d bought that and then can’t play great games like Birth by Sleep. SCEA should have had a digitalrights agreement for PSN before release.
