  • 11/1/11: W.U.E (worst update ever)

    Mayans had predicted.

  • Resistance: Fall of Man full download for newcomers please!

  • bad update. nothing new for ps plus yet except qore. oh well

  • Finally!!! About time for more LINKIN PARK!!!!!!

  • Worst update ever. They actually increased the price of Uno.

  • It’s one thing to want to voice displeasure about the quality of the store updates, but your criticism would probably carry a lot more weight if you made an effort to be civil, folks. Personally, I agree the updates have been weak lately — that’s why I’m playing Gran Turismo 5. I didn’t buy a PS3 so I could play Tetris or Noby Noby Boy or whatever.

  • Did anybody think this would be a good update after last week? At least the amount of people complaining about PS+ has diminished as people realize it’s every other week. Though that Pipe game would be more fun if it were a RickRoll. I still haven’t finished Sam and Max or Spyro or Crash or $2 Shooter. Or the ME2 or DS2 demos. Or half the games I received for Christmas.

So thanks for updating this early so we don’t wait for nothing, which is what this week was.

PS – Does that Avalon game begin in a cold empty room?

  • Yay, price drops to the price they should have been at launch! :D

  • Where is Xenogears? It’s ready to be put on the PSN. Put it up quite pickin’ your asses and post Xenogears and vagrant story.

  • lol harmonix picked all of the worst song from linkin park… anyway this band sucks… i guess all of the track they made is horrible.

  • what a bunch of crap!!! xbox is gettting stonger day by day

where is pocket fighter for psone classic, that is a classic not like other craps realeased already

  • hey, i know this doesnt relate, but i cant find out anywhere :S does anyone know if you can pay for dc universe online monthly fee with psn cards? i much like…. every kid under 18 doesnt have a credit card.

  • SONY THIS UPDATE SUCKSSSSS AND IS WEEEAAAAAKKKKKK!!!!!!

At least give us some quality PS1 classics…

    Tony Hawk 1
    Twisted Metal 1
    Tekken 1
Loaded 1 (NOT the sequel which is CRAP that you did last week)

    WE WANT THE CLASSICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Maybe it’s time for Grace Chen to step aside and let someone else have a go at running the PS Store. I’m sorry but I just don’t think she is doing a good job. XBLA is a thousand times better than PSN as far as content goes and this is an embarrassing way to start the year.

  • Was hoping for some game videos on MotorStorm Apocalypse or some other upcoming games, or a Volnutt avatar. Weak update this week, but they can’t all be winners I suppose.

  • Also, why is Capcom the only developer that gives out a constant stream of avatars? Not mad with anyone from Sony in particular, but if we can get a bunch of crossovers to LBP, you’d think we’d be able to get some for PSN avatars. I wanna see some Team ICO, Bioware, Bethesda, SquareEnix, and Rockstar avatars. Let me show some love to my favorite games by buying cheap thumbnails.

  • Wow, what a bunch of junk.

  • QORE HAS AN ISSUE.

THE DOWNLOAD SECTION SAYS NOTHING IS IN THE STORE.

    [DELETED]?

I wante the KILLzone 3 theme!

  • Grace, and the PSN crew,

Over in Xbox-land Activision, and EA, are having(or soon to be having) sales on their online content. Could we perhaps see something similar here on PSN? I’d really love to see the Mirror’s Edge DLC get a 50% off sale!

    Have a good week!

  • I want to point something out to the complainers, not all the games are made by sony, in fact only a few of them are. So if you want to complain about lack of updates complain to the game companies. (unless they are holding back on us)

  • god awfully horrible update

  • Lame ,Lame , Lame ???? At least for us older folk $@#%^&$

  • Wow, there’s virtually no deals at all again this week. You do price drops on DLC for LBP PSP, but NOT LBP PS3? Lets see; No Game Sales, No PSX Games, 1 PSP Game, and 1 PSN game/demo… What a joke! Could’ve at least put Prinny 1 on sale, or any of the numerously overpriced PSP Games you have on PSN (60% of them are cheaper at retail stores). Just shows how much SCEA doesn’t care.

  • give me the wwf games from ps1 on the store Dammit!!!

  • Eh weak update as usual. it nice to see some price drops on uno, and the LBP dlc although im not going to buy it since i dont play the psp version as much anymore.

Would have been nice to have a downloadable version for DCU so i dont have to wait till tonight to get it.

Nothing for psp except prinny 2 which would be ok if the price was at least 5-10$ below its UMD counterpart. Im sorry but i dont see why they need to be the same price. When you take into account all the time and money it takes for: printing out manuals, plastic for the case/umd making, shipping and handling to stores, etc, whereas digital all you need to do is put it on the store in digital format, which i understand takes up bandwidth.

Still i say a weak update since it seem like you guy arent going to be putting up old psp games? again i have said this time and time again. You have too much games STILL not put on the psn. at least can we get some insight of game maybe coming available? or something because this is pretty sad how you guys dont take the psp seriously.

  • Crap update.

  • @102 HEY! Don’t be calling out Noby Noby Boy unless you want a fight. I could see someone not wanting Tetris on their PS3 because it’s a simple puzzle game that could be made in LBP2, but Noby Boy is another beast altogether and is really quite fun. I hope you have at least played Noby Boy before bashing its place on PS3.

  • Really poor update. Also where are the PSN Plus free add-ons and Avatars??? I am talking new Avatars??

  • You people do realize that not every update can be like the one before Christmas? Stop expecting miracles every week and maybe you won’t come in here [DELETED] all the time like the majority of you do. Here’s an idea: Go play your PS3.

  • @120 WWF games likely can’t be released because WWF was sued by the World Wildlife Foundation for the use of the WWF acronym. The only way that they could release it, is if the games were completely redone/rebranded with WWE.

  • Definitely a very weak update to the PS Store. And I would like to agree w/ a person above that mentioned Xenosaga even though I know they meant Xenogears for a PS Classic.. Get on SquareEnix (Squaresoft) to put that out for us… was by far one of the greatest games ever created for the PS1. I say Xenogears is the number 2 game that must get a remake w/ the original story line right after FF VII gets a remake.

But seriously very weak update to the PS store… let’s get some better stuff up there. Themes and Wallpapers are useless, I want Classic games. Get some PS2 games going soon as well!

And seeing as I am a Playstation Plus member, is there anything in the works for dedicated servers for those of us who are paying for PS+ by chance?? I would love to see that. I would even personally pay more if needed to get dedicated servers going.

Also any news on when they’re going to add in cross game chat? The more we can get that Xbox has the more their system has nothing to offer then I won’t have to see any ugly Xbox’s anymore since they only had Halo going for them and that’s a dead franchise now.

    “Who’s a Playstation Hero… THIS GUY!!”

  • Will LBP PS3 EVER get price discounts on costumes? I’d pick up at least 15 if they went to .99

  • Terrible.

  • My opinion, a pretty weak update…

  • @124

NOBY NOBY BOY SUCKS! One game I definitely regret getting. Yeah I said it. It’s a joke of a game. Where as TETRIS is THE classic puzzle game in video games. (1983 or ’85 I believe) Your obviously very young and don’t understand that TETRIS is the game that STARTED the puzzle game genre.

    *Proud PS+ MEMBER*

  • Waaah, let’s all cry about the PSN store update like it’s the only thing we have to look forward to all week (which it probably is) and how it’s ruined gaming for you forever when it’s not up to your standards.

If you think XBLA is so much better, sell your PS3 and get a 360, and stop coming here to whine like a little girl.

  • I know its been asked before many times(some of those times by me) but can anyone give an answer or shoot me in the right direction to this. I am looking for info on a few old ps1 games.

    Suikoden 2
    Legend of Dragoon
    Tales of Destiny
    Xenogears

Is there any information on these games possibly comming to the PSN. I see week after week people asking for these games and I would really like to know if there is anything even in the works for trying to get them up. Please can one of the forum posters please help me out since I rather dought the admins will answer.

  • BEST…..UPDATE….EVER…..PERIOD!!!!

  • Probably a good thing it’s not a huge update, with LBP2 next week and an Xmas backlog taking up my time.

BTW, I like megamixer’s posts, keep it up my friend, ignore the haters.

  • # of Legacy Games – 0
    # of megamixer Posts – 2
    # of Horrible Updates This Year – 2, to be expected, it happens when you pile everything together at once
    $6 Burger – $3.95
People [DELETED] About Crappy Updates – Numbers Can’t Describe

I’m not surprised the update was horrible, like I said, everything was piled up together at the end of last year and released at once, so now, nobody has anything planned for release and when the store updates come, there’s nothing to be found, and people complain. Deal with it. Obviously you’re looking for something that’s never going to be there.

  • Yay~! I was hoping Faery would come to the PSN. I read about it being on Xbox live and was saddened that it seemed to be exclusive. Today was a pleasant surprise to be able to get it. *joy*

  • Modern Combat Domination next week! :D

  • Stop joking and start giving us Tekken 1, Tekken 3!

  • Is it April 1st already?!

  • @102 Agree with your sentiments here.

@111 You make it sound like she is the sole person running and operating the entire store. Realize that a lot of these things are run by teams of people who also have to make deals with external sources on what content gets released, pricing, etc.

It’s so easy for everyone to whine here. I’m not saying that this update is great. But, honestly, are we really expecting week after week of ZOMG AAA-title releases and content?! Jeez.

  • Nice Sony, on to looking forward to next week and again expecting nothing.

  • I like the discounts, unlike some PEOPLE here,I appreciate the content.

  • @124: I didn’t say that I disliked either of those games. Tetris was good about 20 years ago, though now that we have Lumines it’s kindof obsolete. Noby Noby Boy sucked, though. Badly. And I say this as a person who bought and loved every single Katamari game. Noby Noby Boy is garbage.
