There goes my chance to sell my physical copy of Vagrant Story for more than I paid for it. I never did finish it though…
PSone classics are super tiny on PSP, though, so I´ll probably wait.
It seems that the file size of Vagrant Story was bumped up to 97 MB from the EU PSN file size of 93 MB, but it’s only 4 MB, so it’s negligible. Still, making room for the game will be easy, and the $5.99 price tag is quite appealing as well.

@7, How can they take PSP seriously when there is nothing to supply to PSP owners? The developers have moved over to NGP development. As a PSPgo owner, I am suffering the most. If you own a PSP with a UMD slot, quit complaining and go buy some used games at discount prices.

Pix’n Love Rush is a fav on the iPhone, happy to play it if it’s a good port. Gonna wait for the reviews on the Dead Space 2 DLC before I commit to that.
Will probably wait for the first patch to Shooter 2, as I’ve already heard about multiplayer issues.
It would be cool to play Vagrant story, but it looks so much better when played on an open source emulator. I’ll wait for a decent port that has scaling, better textures, and anti-aliasing before I pay a dime.

SCEA has never taken the PSP seriously. Not from their awful advertising. Remember PSP ads through the years? At launch they promoted it as a do every device instead of focusing on games, then came the squirrels on shrooms ads, then… nothing, then Marcus for all of two months. What games have they themselves made for the system? PSN ports, two God of Wars, a Ratchet and Jak or two and MLB… basically just ports. They have localized many SCEJ & SCEE PSP games, thank goodness for that. Remember when “hundreds” of games were to be ready for the Go launch? Never happened. They have never supported the gaming portion of the system in a meaningful way and clearly with the thing on its way out aren’t about to start. After all, they didn’t even bother to drop the price of MGS:PW and other recent PSP Greatest Hits / Favorites on PSN.
Good Timing, just get back from work. Dead Space DLC for me!
at this point i hope the NGP fails and sony goes bankrupt.

Nothin for me. I have PS+ but all I get this week is sonic which I own 20x times over. No good sales either. Now this Sega trend is hobnail and gonna eat up my free games for months
Sony PSP was my first and argueably in my opinion, a very great handheld with so much potential. I still use it today, but why should I be excited to use my PSP when your not either Sony when adding updates on the PSN Store for it….
Makes me wonder why I should care for NGP (PSP 2) when you don’t seem to care for your current handheld…

A 20 year old Genesis game should not be our monthly PSN game just because it has trophies. It should be in place of a mini or PS1 game, not a full PSN game.
Gonna have to try out Sonic… Heard great things about it, even though I normally hate playing old games (especially ones that are older than I am). Also might have to finally pick up Blast Factor.. can’t really go wrong for only 2 bucks. Move Heroes demo looks like it could be fun too…

PS3 isn’t in the lead, thus owners of it are second class citizens (I wonder what that makes PSP owners…). People will complain but buy it in droves anyway (see all the whining in the Black Ops DLC post some weeks back, guaranteed it will pass 50,000+ ratings with ease ala the MW2 DLC despite that also being a month late). So suck it up and wait for BG&E, Contra Hard Corps, BO DLC, and everything else coming at us like a true Sonybot :p

I am a psp go owner as well and there are a ton of games I’m still waiting for them to release on the psn. I mean games like crisis core, phantasy star 1, the naurto games. Heck I would have been happy if they updated the prices on some the games since they advertised a price drop on some games but neglect the psn.

The Go launched about a year and a half ago, which seems like a short lifecycle for Sony to support. Please could we have some new(ish) titles for this platform? Or could SCEA add some older PSP games to the PSN store? For those of us who love Sony’s offerings and have bought GOs, it’d be great to see that Sony is as committed to the platform as we are!
Or, barring new games on the PSN, could we have some good discounts on PSP games – sort of go out with a bang? I can’t believe how much old games like Wipeout Pulse cost on the PSN, especially compared to new retail versions!
