@megamixer I know what happened with the UK and Japan, but as far as it’s been said nothing is changed with the US retail date. SInce Gamestop is so quick to shoot you an email when the sun sets, I would hope when it actually came to something relevant that they would follow up. Or at least someone on the blog would. Just an update is all, just a teensy weensy answer.
$5.00 for a dlc character. No way capcom no Socom beta?!? This the first update that I’m actually disappointed in :-( and normally I never complain..I played Crysis on that other system…still perfer killzone 2 and 3 over it.

Nice to see another real classic in the form of Parasite Eve. Also nice to see they were generous on the price. PoPs price… I got it on disc for $20 over 2 years ago. Heck, last years PoP has been found for that price or lower as of late. Just because the PS2 PoP ports are $15 doesn’t mean this game can’t be equally or lower priced. Good game, wouldn’t mind having it on my HDD but not for another $20.
One new PSN game and one late to the party 360-moneyhat game. Both $15. ick. At least SBS has a demo. Four new PSP games is rather unusually high… but hey I’m not complaining. The more day & date digital releases the better. A trio of Minis rounds off the nice amount of full games added this week. Good stuff.
I see a lot of overpriced DLC and a lot of comments knocking Capcoms character pricing which, while it won’t help, is positive to see people speaking up about. Okami avatars are more timely than Capcoms shipping since the copy of Okamiden I ordered from them still hasn’t arrived. But I digress. This update has quantity and variety earning it a solid four stars.
…and is that RE3 for $3 I see? Don’t mind if I do! Oh Capcom. Can’t live with you. Can’t live without you. :3

You know what would be cool? Avatars from places that AREN’T Capcom. I’ll NEVER buy anything they put out and there has been a good pack of avatars in a very long time. Not to mention there are tons of more deserving studios & games out there. You know what’s even worse? Capcom rubbing Okami avatars in our face when Okamiden released a few days ago and it’s NOT on PSP. Anytime that company has the chance to rub something in PS3 owners faces, they do it. I just hope they’ll go bankrupt soon so they can stop this [DELETED].

Still getting my butt kicked by Vagrant Story .!! but it looks like I will be picking up Parasite Eve today..Never got to play this classic back then…Great update SONY….
this is the first week of PS+ i felt we got shafted. we got crap. even the normally free mini is just a discount…..
id be mad but i guess since its the first time i felt the ps+ update sucked since day 1 im still happy.
ill just keep playing the awesome demo of MK i got last week and enjoy a few fre demo’s and themes.

Purchased Parasite Eve the moment it went up. When I tried to copy it to my PSP I got some error messages (80029780) I restarted both systems, and even checked if I was behind on my PSP firmware, which I was not. I tried downloading it from the store straight through my PSP and when I tried to do that I got a different error (80109D80) I have no idea what’s going on, but I really want to play the game I just purchased! If anyone has any clue what’s going on, or if they had the same issue, maybe hit me up at zemus101@gmail.com?
I should also mention that I’ve been playing Xenogears and Front Mission 3 and have had no problems copying files over from my PS3 to my PSP up until tonight.
Oh PLEASE tell me why Parasite Eve is not working on my PSP-2000 with no cfw?
ATQ add-ons for me…but I won’t be downloading them yet. I need to pick up my copy first.
And maybe some Mortal Kombat.

Five dollars for each downloadable character for Marvel vs Capcom 2 is rediculous!!! Over the next year this could get expensive. With the large number of charcters to choose from in both the Marvel and Capcom Universe, they could easly add another 10+ characters to the game (at $5 a piece, do the math). The high price tag would be easier to stomach if the procedes were going the the Red Cross for Japan Disaster Relief (like what Capcom did for the itunes version of Street Fighter 3). I love Capcoms games, but their downloadable content pricing is crazy.

@Zemus1010 I can copy it to my PSP no problem. Trying to play it on my PSP, just DLed FW 6.37 and after the Playstation logo it just goes blank.
Resident Evil 2 works fine on my PSP so it has to be the PE file itself?

@Zemus Googling those error codes, looks like you have too many activated accounts on PS3 and PSP. Definitely hit up Quicroxity (assuming you are in US) or however you spell it so you can deactivate some of your unused accounts?

Picked up Eat Them, MK demo and Dissidia Duodecim Prologus. Would have bought RE3 and some Okami avatars too, but ran out of funds on my wallet (I was still stretching the 20 bucks I put on last week for Dead Nation). Great update is great.

I’ll probably pick up another $20 card and start downloading PS1 games like crazy. Is there any hope that Parasite Eve II will come out next week? I never got a chance to play it back in the day and it would be really nice to play it before The 3rd Birthday comes out.

If the RE3 sale follows the trend (RE:DC, RE2, SFA were all 1 week only) it will last until next tuesday.
No one bother with Crysis 2. It is very clearly not working. And it is a 1 week timed demo. Odds are there will NO working demo before full game release. In which case I bet it’ll be a few months before we get a decent online expirence.

What happened to the big LBP2 DLC update promised 2 weeks ago?
Just a smack in the face when a co. releases a new game and the very same day there is DLC for it. PUT IT IN THE ORIGINAL GAME, especially at the prices you’re asking for both the game and the DLC. Hopefully (hahahaha) people around here will finally stop buying that garbage and the they will either have to release it at a much later date or (gasp) put it in the game.
Whoever pays $5 for 1 crap character in MVC3 needs to be evaluated. Heck, you can get 5 marvel customers for sackboy in LBP for $5.99. And at least those look cool on sackboy if I do say so myself. :D
And frankly, not been impressed with what I’ve got from my PS+ membership (which I actually purchased on accident, but whatever, it was my mistake), Sonic is a JOKE and an insult and frankly someone should be slapped for even calling it a “ps3” game, esp after Stacking (wish I made my mistake during that offering). Only 1 mini will likely get any real play (golf), and only got the ps1 lame dragon game because the teenager liked it…when she was 8. Aside from cpl cool dynamic themes and sackboy avatars (which certainly arent worth the membership), best benefit so far was paying $2 for Blast Factor. Now THAT’S a SALE!
