I know you are waiting for additional information on when PlayStation Network and Qriocity services will be online. Unfortunately, I don’t have an update or timeframe to share at this point in time.

Since you’re rebuilding the network maybe you could just go ahead & throw in support for changing user IDs… Personal agenda aside I appreciate Sony taking the network down instead of waiting & hoping for the best.
As for the hackers, I really hope they understand how much they’ve alienated a large group of people that were, prior to this stunt, very largely supportive of them. Now they’ve opened our eyes to how they are completely willing to hurt “the little guy” in their efforts to take on their targets, and move forward with total disregard to anybody but themselves.

Well it’s now going into Day 6 of the PSN being down, and still no sign of it coming back and still no actual helpful information on the status.
… At this rate, I’d say that the PS4 or NGP will come out before the PSN is put back up.

on a more info based note will thoughs that had a trial for mk gi the chance to go online or are we just scruew out of online until we by a pass, seems wrong for us all to be punished for one idiots actions. by the way are we going to get all the things that we were suposed to get this week and any other until this is resolved after it has been resolved.
i think that people just need the bare assentials for gaming, yeah daily updates would be awesome but we already know that sony isn’t going to change the way thay have done things for so long so people just quit askeing for comp over online lodd.

Ok I understand tat there is a lot to providing service to people.
There is the hardware as well as as the software. Tests and such have to be done.
We on this end have very little experienced unless there are those that work on net works as there jobs. This How ever is a big Job. We can not possibly conceive that we know it all. How ever What we should expect that a Major Cooperation should have spent the time and effort to prevent such a failure. Sony Didn’t plan for the worst case scenario, but then I guess no one can guess everything.
Well, we all found one thing to be self evident Bad Karma on Customers = Bad Karma on to Sony.

They could get sued if:
1. our credit card information was compromised
2. our personal information was compromised
You people need to get real
1)Your credit cards are fine and if someone was to take the info, report it and get the charges cancelled, NOT THAT HARD.
2) As stated by the LBP2 page and in Sony’s USER AGREEMENT- You will not be compensated for down time. Get over it.
3)There is more (hopefully) to your lives then playing games all day so FFS, go out and make some dang friends and stop complaining like the world just ended

If Sony has taken reasonable measure to protect such information, an attempt to sue them would be wasted.

If your a playstation plus member your still paying for their services, I cant access the store now or for the last 5+ days.
You kept signing in and out of Xbox live cause you have a crappy connection, that is all. Never happened to me and I use DSL. Check your wifi connection or feed the hamsters and you wont keep logging off and on.
AND their NOW excuse that it had a bug that allowed people to access a dummy accounts to get stuff for free from the playstation store is crap also,
