We’re currently experiencing an extremely heavy load of password resets, and so we recently had to turn off services for approximately 30 minutes to clear the queue.
As such, a large number of people are attempting to change their passwords at the same time, it’s taking longer than expected for all those emails to clear all of the ISPs.
If you’ve requested your password reset, please give it a bit of time to reach your email. Thanks for your patience as we work to get everyone back online.

So yesterday I just got home from a long ass trip and I was looking forward to playing some PS3. I thought to my self’ “surely PSN will be up by now, its been a month already.” You’d think that a GIANT company with a team of 400 asians would be able to bring up a server within 3 years. I always try to stand up for PS3 to Xbox people, but you guys are making it very hard. And yall wonder why you’re in second place. Get your stuff (since I cant cuss)together and fix it. worthless…

Wondering why its keep saying “PlayStation Network timed out.” When i sign in . And When i Sync Trophies with server it keeps saying ” An error has occured. (8001051B)

I did that last night and i was playing and it kicked me out of the hardcore headquarters match in black ops because i killed too many teammates with my rolling thunder and napalm strike so i was like [DELETED]!!!1 so i went to the playstation store and it said “This Service is currently Unavailable” and i was like WHAT!!! so im glad i know why now!!! thanks SONY for tellin me O AND OF COURSE THANKS FOR BRINGING PSN BACK UP THANKS!!! SONT ROCKS!!!

i had a great night playing black ops last night. thanks sony. cant wait for the store to open. lookin for a black ops expansion pack. dont know how everyone got on here while the system was down. i couldnt even log in to comment. i never lost faith, but was somewhat dismayed at the lack of accurate information and the timelyness of what info we did recieve. i trust we all, sony included, have learned from this experience.

When i sign in it says password invalid then i click ok or whatever then its like “An error has occurred”.whats up with that?
@2458 Make sure that u’ve changed your password. I did mine from my PS3 like Sunday Morning but idk if u can still do that but the normal way is thru ure mail somehow :p. If ure on the original ps3 that u made ure acc from go to sign in and try then it’ll take u to special blue page where u change pass.
For some reason I cannot sign in? When I try to sign into a new account which I created a couple of days ago, it gives me an error saying: “You cannot sign in using another user’s sign-in ID (e-mail address).” ANY HELP?

It’s my first playstation network. I love video games and my favorite games if Final Fantasys game and Kingdom Hearts games. They’re are the most amazing games the i ever play in my life. And it was a amazing stories about adventures and about the world. So, that why I loved it so must.
Well finally got the email for my primary account but it says there is a problem resetting your password. Has anyone had this problem also?

@2525 about how long did it take? it more then likely is not working because it is expired…all you can do is send a request, wait, and hope it arrives within 24 hrs…dont do it more then 3 times though..as I found out….although I still have not even recieved 1 email and it has been going on 35 hrs now….really confused as to what to do now…wait 2 or 3 days maybe then try again…when things are running smoother

I’d like to give a big thank you to you and to everyone that helped keep us up-to-date on what has been going on for the last 20 some odd days. I wanted to login and post comments however, I wasn’t one of the ones fortunate (or unfortunate?) enough to be logged in at the time the outage occured so alas, I’ve had to wait all this time. I’ll keep all the rawr moments to myself for now. I (and I’m sure many many others) really appreciate all the hard work you guys put into getting these issues remedied. I’m sure it was irritating and pretty annoying having to read all the negative impatient comments that were posted during the down time. Rest assured, the number of impatient people that were screaming about you guys not being fast enough and threatening to sell their PS3’s for other systems are but a small handful of people that do not speak for the rest of us that stuck with ya through the downtime. It’s probably best that they’re gone (IMO). Thanks again for your hard work!

Also, it was extremely gratifying to see the video from Mr. Kazuo Hirai. I really appreciated his forthright attitude and straightforward comments. I was very impressed, and look forward to hearing more from him. Hopefully in regard to much happier matters.
well now we could at least play online games. 2 questions though. what date the store is coming back up and for the people who’re getting a free month PlayStation plus, does the event start now even though the store is not up or it would start after it comes up. it would be worthless if it started before, plus i’m going to Jamaica for 1 week from May 30 to June 5. that would be missing 1 whole week really…
@Monkey-Clawz u cant really create another account on 1 e-mail address. just delete ur old 1 and switch ur credit card(if u hav a credit card attached) da thingz u bought were installed so those would stay there. write ur friendz I.D. down and add them 2 ur new account.( u might n33d 2 tell them so they would be 100% completely sure 2 accept ur request)
