We developed the program as an expression of our gratitude for your patience, support and continued loyalty during the service outage. From all of us at PlayStation, thank you and welcome back!
This package will be made available to all existing registered PlayStation Network and Qriocity users in North America (US and Canada), and will be made available shortly after we have fully restored the service. More specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live.
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

- inFAMOUS
- LittleBigPlanet
- Super Stardust HD
- Wipeout HD + Fury
For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.
- LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
- ModNation Racers
- Pursuit Force
- Killzone Liberation
- A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.
- 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.
- Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.
- Additional 30 days + time lost for existing members of Music Unlimited Premium/Basic subscription free of charge for existing Premium/Basic members.
- To welcome users Home, PlayStation Home will be offering 100 free virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag’s Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

Unfortunately, I already own all of the PS3 games offered. I’m not complaining though, because IMO Sony doesn’t really owe us anything except getting the services back up and running and reimbursing time lost for MMOs and Qriocity, which they are doing.
Those who don’t have those PS3 games are in for a treat, you can’t really go wrong with either of those. On the PSP front, I already have LBP and MNR, but I did like that Pursuit Force demo from looooong ago, and I’ve heard good things about Liberation, so I’ll pick those up.
I already have all of those PS3 games. And I have all of those PSP games except ModNation Racers, which i thank you for that one, but..what about us loyal fans, who have already purchased all of these games? I believe you should let us pick a game of equal value in their place, or something like that, come on Sony, please!

Hardcore loyal fans already have most if not all of the games on that list. The people who are most loyal are getting screwed while casuals get rewarded…
those are good games but i already own all of them, no biggie you guys enjoy them they are loads of fun.

Thanks for the free stuff anyways.. at least i’ll have a digital copy.. I look more forward to the more new updated content that we have missed over the few past weeks… being an existing ps plus subscriber the service has been good it just seems like lots of the free stuff yous give I already have, yous need to offer more optional downloads so everybody can benifit from the promotion… this outage affected people who were looking forward and purchased socom4 on release date since the server was only available for two days for them to play on after it came out.. show abit of socom love
Thanks for the games but I wish you were more specific with what is online and what isn’t. I got my PS3 a couple days before everything went down. Netflix times out, I can’t upload jpegs from a memory stick.I have my music on my PS3 but is it possible to add album art?If you can download movies and upload videos why can’t I put my music DVD’s on my harddrive? When I get error codes I log them in and it says they don’t know what the error is and I swap 0 and O just to be sure. I really enjoy playing my games and listening to my music but you advertised it as doing everything. I took you at your word (your advertisments) and looked at other game systems before I made my purchase. Do these things have to be restoired or will I have to wait for a plugin or do I need to take my PS3 back to Best Buy and get another one? Just Wondering???
Wow so I can choose from 5 games of which I already own 4 and one I wasn’t interested in enough to buy when it came out. Then I get one free month to a subscription based service, meaning if I don’t pay Sony I lose all my “Customer Appreciation”. Wow thanks Sony. I can feel my Brand Loyalty growing already.
It might be a case of “Sony won’t be able to keep everyone happy,” but I own all of those games but one and I’m already a Plus member. Pretty disappointing that the high-valued customers are treated to zero after the weeks of waiting.

it’s actually really cool that you did that, but what about people like me who own both a psp and a ps3. I am assuming I get to get games for both… and the games all be it nice, only one ps3 title even mildly interests me, and then I am cool on the psp front if I have a card big enough for them lol…
Thing is, maybe a code for the value of the games in psn credit would be better, so when the store is back up we can use the credit on those games or something else… honestly you know you wouldn’t be loosing that much money.
I have stuck in out the whole time cause I am a fan girl yes, and I had no choice, I couldn’t just run out and buy a 360 or wii, let alone pay for my gaming, cause that’s re-re…

Seriously gamers, pick up those games. They’re all great. The two games from Housemarque are phenomenally fun. That really is an awesome package otherwise.
On a related note one of my buddies was wondering about DC Universe online. I don’t play that one but is that subscription to be handled separately? I don’t know how that works but thought I’d bring it up.

Well this sucks. I have all those games already. Why such a small list of games to choose from? Why not offer up GOW 1 & 2? Or other games that are available for full download? Seems like I lose out because I buy almost everything Sony puts out on the PS Store pretty much on day one.
Thank you for everything Sony, to those who’re complaining, get over it. Things aren’t catered specifically for you, they’re catered for the mass appeal of everyone. It’s very hard to give over 75 million people each something different. No one said that you have to download any of it. STOP COMPLAINING!

Maybe the choice of 2 Games from the welcome back package or just enough credit for a single game download from the store? Not that Sony owes us anything at all, but I think a lot of people are going to feel left out based on the choices offered.

That’s a decent list of stuff. Anyone complaining needs to realize how much worse this offering COULD have been. They’ve compiled a decent list of stuff that represents a REAL value when the absolute minimum they “really” needed to do was extend people’s paid subscriptions. So, for the extras, thank you Sony.
