We temporarily took down the PSN and Qriocity password reset page. Contrary to some reports, there was no hack involved. In the process of resetting of passwords there was a URL exploit that we have subsequently fixed.
Consumers who haven’t reset their passwords for PSN are still encouraged to do so directly on their PS3. Otherwise, they can continue to do so via the website as soon as we bring that site back up.
I’m not sure, but I think they don’t give dates so whenever it comes it doesn’t get overcharged like it happened with the password changing. If they give a date, then everyone would enter at the same time.

I am happy they are going back up and we get free stuff, but I do not play a lot of SONY games, so the free games are not what I want. I would rather get PSN cash so I can get FFVI for my PSP and other add-ons for such games as “Dissidia 012” and “Disgaea 2”. Right now it seems that companies are not thinking how to please everyone.
So Sony, if you get this just give me the PSN cash equal to the 2 cheapest games on the list so I am happy.
Though I am happy that you are up and running for the most part, I cannot wait to get back on the PSN and get “Patapon 3” which I wanted to download since the hack. Thank all the workers and programmers for working very hard. ^_^ Keep up all the good work and know that I will stick with you as long as you guys exist.

GTAIV is Rockstar. Black Ops is Treyarch.
Not everyone plays those games (although YOU might think it).
That’s not Sony’s decision to make, and if they DID do that, that would mean big legal and financial issues from the companies that own them.

Right now the unofficial date is the 24th however this has not been posted on the blog yet.
I find it very odd that now after a week of online being up that there has been no mention
at all on what is going on with the store from sony themselves. Other sites are stating that
sony rep is stating that it will be back up on the 24th, if this is true then why doesn’t
sony update the blog with this information.
I know there are others on here like me who do little online gaming and mainly
go to the store to purchase games and addons and for us this has been
really sad. What is funny though is that all the people who
were complaining that they wanted to get back online
to play black ops or mw2 are now complaining that they are getting
booted from online games. I say hey atleast you got what you were asking
for, for me and others we are still waiting for the store which is what we want.
Thankfully NRS set up mortal kombat online without requiring the online pass
until the store is up. However it would be nice to atleast get some sort of
word from sony on what is going on with the store.
Store takes time they gotta put all the old stuff, and update all the new stuff, plus they gotta test the security to make sure that no one can get credit card info. that way..
Oh i know that it takes time and a lot of work, i just think that it would have been professional of them to atleast ppst a blog update to let us now what the status of it coming up was.

Wow after that long 3 weeks I was glad to see PSN back up but alot of my friends still can’t setup a new pass by email , also I was enjoying some zombies the other night and got kicked off. It said someone else had accssed my account , funny Sony thought you had that fixed so i changed my pass and email. Some other people I talked to said the same thing happened to them. I hope the same problems are not starting all over again Sony!
