We temporarily took down the PSN and Qriocity password reset page. Contrary to some reports, there was no hack involved. In the process of resetting of passwords there was a URL exploit that we have subsequently fixed.
Consumers who haven’t reset their passwords for PSN are still encouraged to do so directly on their PS3. Otherwise, they can continue to do so via the website as soon as we bring that site back up.

To all you ungrateful little kids that are mad because the store isn’t up yet, you should realise that getting the online gameplay and user accounts functional was their primary goal. Sony has already said multiple times that “ALL SERVICES WILL BE BACK ONLINE BY THE END OF MAY”, by continuously asking when the store is gonna be back up it just shows you don’t read these blog post.
The only reason you want the store up is so you can take advantage of “free” items, yet you still complain about what’s being made available? If you really think about it Sony isn’t required to give us anything. We’re lucky they are doing so. This is not Xbox live, if we had to pay to access online features then yes, we would be intitled to a “welcome back” bonus. Be happy with what their offering and SHUT UP!!

The reason i am upset about the ps store is cuz i cant play any games until it is back up. i have not been able to do any online gaming since i updated and changed my password. stay out of other peoples conversations and sony does not owe us anything??? im sorry but they owe anyone and everyone something if identitys were stolen. sounds to me like ur a kid trying to be adult cuz u obviously dont understand the current situation for some of us.

Ahhhh, I am glad to see everyone getting so riled over the store not being back up yet. I for one can’t wait to spend the almost 100 bucks in PSNcards I have saved up.
