Starting today, PlayStation Network and Qriocity account holders in the United States can begin the enrollment process for the identity theft protection program by visiting http://us.playstation.com/news/consumeralerts/identity-theft-protection/. We are also notifying customers of the enrollment landing page via email, which you will receive in your inbox this week.
As previously announced, Sony Computer Entertainment and Sony Network Entertainment have made arrangements with Debix to offer the AllClear ID PLUS identity theft protection program to PlayStation Network and Qriocity customers who are concerned about identity theft following the criminal cyber attack on the network. AllClear ID PLUS is a premium identity protection service that uses advanced technology to deliver alerts to help protect you from identity theft. The service also provides identity theft insurance coverage and hands-on help from expert fraud investigators. Sony has arranged, at no charge to eligible PlayStation Network and Qriocity account holders, for twelve months of this service to be provided by Debix to those who choose to enroll.
In order to be eligible, account holders must be residents of the United States with active accounts as of April 20, 2011.

I suspect PS Store will be opened this weekend for the Memorial Day Holiday, I think that would be a good move for Sony knowing that family and friends will be sitting around the whole weekend, doing stuff together.

Upgrading to new advance security servers – 4 days
Testing Serves – 1 day
Re-designing the PS Store – 3 days
Make system update – 1 day
Release to public
ETA: ESTIMATED Time of Arival
May 28th.

Sony whats up? Where is my free stuff at? You posted in a past blog that we would have a small amount of time after we got back on to recive our free package. Is that what your waiting for, right when the dead line is up you will turn on the PS3 store? Then most people will miss the free stuff package.

Yea I want that free stuff, and I guess you didn’t read the post that said you only had like 2 weeks to get it from time you got back on the network. And guess what it’s almopst been 2 weeks…

all u noobs stop complaining with your “when is psn store gunna work again” u guys have the online gaming ability right now go do that. they cant fix everything in 2 days because this is a big company and a lot of things in it so it takes a long time to get back on your feet and he mentioned that psn will b back up by the end of the month!!!!!!
All my DLC codes are still held hostage, just like PSN Plus which is pretty pointless without a store to download from.

Devs are expecting the store to be back up by the 31st… as on Atari’s website, they are advertising the new D&D console game to be available for download on the 31st. Lets all hope they are right.

my only question to sony is, did you not lose our information for life? see you are only offering this for a year. are the hackers going to give back the information in 12 months? if my information is used by them in 2 years you are still liable as it was sony that allowed the info to be stolen. i dont like that you offer 1 year and basically tell us its our problem after that.

Don’t worry guys, Sony did a security audit on this no-name credit protection service, “Debix”. It’s got to be hack-proof. There’s absolutely no way entering your information into another Sony-linked database could ever lead to trouble. So go ahead, hand over your credit card, home address, shoe size, social security information, and toothbrush bristle firmness preference to a company you’ve never even heard of a month ago. What’s the worst that can happen?
See this is getting rather annoying! Keep posting stuff about games we can’t even try or DLC that we can’t even access yet. Surely you guys @ SONY evidently didn’t expect things to be this bad. So after three almost 4 weeks to get to play online again, we still cannot recieve ANY of the suppoesed “WELCOME BACK” program, “gifts”, You all must not realize what you are doing to your consumers. Maybe, you shouldn’t have been telling people they would get their “freebies” when PSN came back online, Alot of people are disgruntled and feel like Sony is just juggling BS to see where it lands first, on us Gamers. Everyone needs to stop being so rude and telling sony to get the store up now. If you were good customers you could wait and realize that sony is trying to help and protect us. You don’t like it go somewhere else and complain about it, but not to the people who are trying to help.
